Plenty of parking. Ok for groups. Kids welcome. No reservation required. Many items to pick from on the menu. Food had great flavor. Prices and quantity was good. Very friendly staff.

This was hands down the best breakfast that we have eaten in Myrtle Beach. It's a charming space, and we had quick seating on a Monday morning. The server, Leonid V, was attentive, professional, and kind. He checked in often and just had a great attitude. The Blueberry Ricotta Waffle was decadent. I'm not a big ricotta fan, so I tasted it and ate around it. The waffle was light and fluffy, packed full of blueberry goodness and topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries and the blueberry ricotta (I think a creamy ricotta with a hint more sweetness would knock this out of the park). The home fries were a couple of notches above basic, good and crispy on the outside. The bacon was baconing! My husband got the Steak Chimi and really enjoyed it, only saying that he would have loved more sauce on the side. He really enjoyed his meal and his steak was cooked well. The coffee wasn't very strong, but good as a black coffee. I will be hard pressed to ever go anywhere else for breakfast when visiting Myrtle Beach from here on out. Can't wait to come back and try the Sweet Potato Pancakes!

I am glad we came early to this cute place because it gets very busy, quickly. We loved it so much here that we dined here 2 mornings in a row. The first visit, we started with the Mimosa Flight, SO good; blueberry was my fave, so I got a glass of that the 2nd time we went. Both mornings we were a large party; we ordered the salmon benedict, blueberry pancakes, blueberry waffles, Southerner skillet, Truffled western steak skillet, melting pot omelet, The traditional, and steak chimi and eggs. We all loved our meals, both days. We were also fortunate to have the same waitress, Bradyn, both days; she was excellent. Again, get there early, or you will definitely wait, but well worth it.

Cinnamon Roll French Toast, and a side of eggs

Went to this place to see what the hype was about. I was sadly disappointed. The Cinnamon Roll French Toast was a bit dry. The eggs, just okay, a little bland. The waiter that we had never asked if we wanted any drink refills. Also, we ate inside the restaurant and there were flies swarming around the entire time, to the point I brought out my fan from my purse to try and hold them off. The ambiance was okay, it does get pretty loud inside with conversations and no type of buffer. Also I got the impression that there a/c may not have been working because it was quite warm inside, and I saw a few of the employees fanning themselves. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone that I know, as all this to me was a turn off.

This breakfast spot has an awesomely creative menu. The service is really good as well. I had the spicy fennel & kale spicy chicken benedict and it was the best thing I've had in a long time at a breakfast joint. A must try in Myrtle Beach!

I wish we had this restaurant in Houston because it was sooooo good! It was our last day on our trip and we were on our way to a fishing trip. It was surprisingly very busy for a late Monday morning. We barely had an hour to eat, but fortunately we were able to be seated immediately on the patio. We told our waitress we were on a time crunch and she took care of us so well to get us in and out! She was quick taking our orders and went ahead and brought us the check when our food came out. As for the food, absolutely delicious! I ordered the blueberry hushpuppies to start. They came out warm and soft on the inside with a little crisp on the outside. They were cooked perfectly and the butter and compote that come with it really set it off. I loved them! I ordered a classic breakfast with scrambled eggs, grits and blueberry sausage. The grits were creamy and I liked the sweet and savory of the blueberry sausage. I was not disappointed at all by this breakfast and was sad I found it in my last day. I highly recommend!

It was our first time visiting Blueberry's Grill and it was amazing! I loved that they had a "join the waitlist" option! The service, food and atmosphere were awesome and they have a ton of outdoor seating! We absolutely loved our experience! If you're looking for a great brunch spot this is the place!

First time in South Carolina and had to try this spot! The unique menu includes blueberries in quite a few dishes. Not to worry, there are dishes without blueberries too! My Blueberry Waffle was DELICIOUS!! NOT TOO SWEET AND the syrup was delicious.. perfect balance of sweet and tart. I will say, the coffee was okay (I ordered the columbian roast). Overall, I'll be craving this restaurant from Miami all the time! I highly recommend it!

We loved eating here so much that we drove an hour to get here twice in one week. If you haven't been, make time to. The blueberry French toast is insanely yummy. We got extra blueberry cream cheese syrup and extra whip cream, it was all simply divine. The potato goat cheese grits were freaking good. The home fries were crispy and seasoned well and so yummy dunked in chup. 10/10 would eat here again!

This was a nice spot! I purchased a Mediterranean salad with shrimp! The blueberry salad dressing was good. I also purchased the blueberry hush puppies! This was a nice meal. The service was great and the decor gave me a beach feel. It felt like an indoor/outdoor venue! I enjoy visit this location.

Was busy on Sunday as expected. Weather was rainy. The wait was an hour, but we didn't mind. Luckily they had seating at the bar under a heat lamp right away. Blueberry hush puppies are a must!! The blueberry Creme brûlée French toast is decadent, the chorizo omelette was good but lacked that chorizo flavor tasted more like breakfast sausage. Crab cake Benedict was good too!! Aperol spritz, espresso martini was delicious! A very nice meal and Kristina took good care of us.

The food was great. Service was excellent. The ambiance was very good for a grill. If you are in the area and want a very good breakfast, then this is your choice.

Blueberry Hush Puppies. Never heard of these but they were amazing especially with the blueberry compote.

Luckily I saw a packed place on Mr. Joe White Avenue called Simply Southern Smokehouse. Place looked legit and had a full parking lot so I pulled in. There is only one way in and once you get in, the cashier is on the right with the $15 all you can eat buffet right next to it. The $15 also included all you can drink soft drinks, water and sweet tea. I paid my money and grabbed a plate and ran right up to the buffet. They start out light with vegetables and sides, working up to the main courses of fried chicken, fried fish, pulled pork, smoked chicken and some hot wings. After that, they had some mac & cheese, and then the desserts which was blueberry cobbler, peach cobbler, homemade banana pudding...and a couple of other things. I started off with some broad beans, stewed okra and tomatoes, smoked chicken and hot wings. I brought my plate and my silverware to an empty table, which was getting hard to find as the place was so packed and then went up to fetch me a glass of water to wash it down with. They serve Pepsi products and of course sweet tea but I was going to save my calories for dessert. The place was clean, well lit and the seating was well designed with booths along the wall and tables in the center... and plenty of room between the tables. Once seated I dug right in. The broad beans were excellent. Done right and full of flavor. The stewed tomatoes and okra, although cook correctly was a bit bland for my liking. The smoked chicken was excellent and I used a bit of the golden SC BBQ sauce on it...great...and homemade. The hot wings were the real deal meaty and moist with a nice kick. I finished the plate in about five minutes. Time for round two. On my second trip up, I put some collard greens, lima beans, a piece of fried chicken and a piece of fried fish on the fresh plate. As I sat down to eat, I put a bit of hot vinegar sauce on the collard greens and dug in. The collards were excellent and the homemade vinegar hot sauce gave it a bit of a kick and bite. The Lima beans were soft and loaded with flavor. I then moved on to the fried chicken, which was cooked correctly with the skin crispy and well battered and the meat moist on the inside. That said, it was bland. Given how well the beans were seasoned I was surprised. Same thing with the fish, but they had a real good house sauce for it which gave it a nice flavor and saved it, but overall both the fried chicken and the fried fish were bland. I then went up for a plate number three and realized I was not gonna be able to eat anymore mains, which was a shame since the pulled pork looked great... It will have to wait for the next time I come. I did, however leave a bit of room for dessert and I'm glad I did . The banana pudding was delicious with a full banana taste and 'Nilla wafers on top and bottom adding a bit of crunch. I only had enough room for one of the cobbler so I chose peach and it did not disappoint. Nice and warm with a sweet peach flavor and tasty crumbles. I wanted more but controlled myself. As I got up to leave, I placed five dollars on the table for the cleanup guy who was hustling and keeping the place neat and tidy. I then looked around and noticed this was a real local spot full of people from Myrtle Beach. You have families, elderly people, young people, construction workers and people from local businesses. For $15 it cannot be beat. Not only will I be back again but I plan on bringing some of my friends from up north who are going to love this place...plus I gotta try that pulled pork and Mac and cheese...if the fried chicken and fish have more seasoning, I'll up them to 5 stars.

It consisted of 2 deep fried soft shell crabs, 3 deep fried jumbo (and yes, they were actually jumbo) shrimp on top of a bed of various deep fried vegetables. Although the entire dish was deep-fried, it didn't feel heavy or greasy. And the batter chef Bo made mad it all sooooo flavorful! I ordered the granddaddy's grilled cheese. It was a very different take on grilled cheese, but also absolutely delightful!! I believe you can't go wrong with bacon and fig jam on sourdough bread. And for my side, I wanted something a little different so I ordered the sweet potato grits. Do yourself a favor and try them! They are rich and creamy and sweet but not too sweet... Perfect! As delicious as all that was, the showstopper was dessert. We had the lemon blueberry cake. There are not enough words to say how delicious this was! Dense, sweet, but also tar from the fresh lemon with fresh blueberries baked in with a perfect layer of cream cheese icing. I wanted to order another one just to take home. With so many good restaurants in the area, we usually try new places, but before heading home we decided it was time to stop in again for dinner. As usual, we try to go during happy hour when prices are a bit better, and we sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly she greeted us right away, handed us menus, and took our drink order. The menu had changed a bit since our last visit. My wife ordered a Coke, and I had an Old Fashioned. For food, my wife chose the Fried Crab Claws with fries, and I ordered the French Onion Soup along with the Pork Nachos from the happy hour menu. While we were waiting, the bartender asked where we were from. We told her Southern Maryland, and when I said Huntingtown, she immediately said, "That's where I'm from." That alone surprised us not many people even know where Huntingtown is. When we mentioned the road we live on, she said, "That's the road I turn on to my parents' house." This was the first time we've ever met a bartender or server over 400 miles from home who lived that close to us. Small world. Our food came out and my wife really enjoyed her crab claws -- I tried one and they were very good. My French onion soup had a nice, deep beef flavor and was very tasty, but after a few bites there was a heavy pepper bite that came through. It was still good, but I had to switch over and eat some of my nachos, which were also good, though different from how I remembered them. I think the BBQ sauce changed the flavor, and the lettuce (which I usually prefer without) was something I should have asked to leave off. I asked my wife to try the soup and mentioned the pepper and that it might be a little spicy. She agreed it was good but said it would be better if it wasn't so peppery. A little later, the chef came out and introduced himself, Bo. He asked how everything was going. I told him everything was good overall but mentioned the heavy pepper bite in the onion soup and asked if that was normal. He said it shouldn't be that strong and that it needed to be toned back. Bo then asked if we had ever tried Mama's Soup, the tomato vegetable soup on the menu. We hadn't, and he asked if we'd like to try it. Not long after, he brought us another bowl and said, "This is Mama's soup give it a try." It was a vegetable soup with hamburger and a tomato base, and it was so good. When he came back, he explained it was his own version of his mother's soup. We told him it would go perfectly with a gooey grilled cheese, and he laughed and said they actually have one on the menu. It was really nice of Chef Bo to come out, check on us, listened and know something wasn't quite right, and it's being taken care of. That kind of interaction truly makes dining out a better experience. It makes the place feel welcoming, like they genuinely want you there. Yes, we will return -- and we were told that Mama's soup is always on the menu.

Visited Paula Deen's Myrtle Beach, SC location on Mother's Day Sunday 2026 around 7pm. The place…read morewas full but there was no wait time for our party of 6 adults. We were promptly seated and drink orders were taken. The waiter reappeared about 15 mins later with drinks and cheese rolls and took the table's order. We settled on the Aspen family meal which consisted of 2 meats and 4 sides. We chose smothered pork tenderloin and fried chicken along with mac 'n cheese, collard greens, fried okra and candied yams. Fried chicken was awesome, crispy, with an assortment of dark and white meat pieces. We were looking for a knife because of the pork tenderloin and realized you don't need it. It was that tender. You could cut it with a fork and it too was awesome. Everyone raved about all the side items except the mac & cheese it was a bit on the bland side so it was not our favorite. There was no need for a refill of any of the food. The first round was very ample sized and everyone left very satisfied. And if I have a bit of feedback, our waiter was not attentive unlike the waitress serving the tables in our same area. He was didn't bother to come back and see if we needed a refill on any of the drinks or the food. The only disappointing thing was they no longer offer you a small sample size dessert to finish up your meal. It's been a while since I've dined here so I'm not sure how long that change has been in place. However, we understand the food industry continues to be impacted by the current economy. Overall, the restaurant was very clean, including the restrooms. It's a nice place to feed a large family who hates buffets.

This was a bucket list for me and unfortunately it wasn't as I had expected. My husband & I were to…read moremeet family for lunch at the Boardwalk and decided on Paula Deen's Family Restaurant. Will say the area, the location, the draw and the atmosphere is fantastic, but not the food. Our family left disappointed by the overall quality of the meal, particularly given the establishment's reputation and the high price point. The cost for 4 people exceeded our expectations an amount that felt disproportionate to the overall experience provided. The service was adequate. Our waitress was courteous, but could have kept up on our drink refills. The food fell significantly short of our heightened anticipation. Dishes arrived at the table within minutes of ordering, far quicker than would be consistent with individual dish preparations. This is served family style with options of your main courses and sides. The okra was good, but had some very hard pieces. I bit down on one that was so hard it could have broken a tooth. Green beans were decent, but extremely salty. The creamed potatoes were the best thing in my opinion and we were able to be served both the white & brown gravy's. The fried chicken was so dry and uneatable, with extremely minimal flavor and texture that did not meet standard expectations for Southern-style preparation. We realized after the fact: you can request the chicken parts. The macaroni & cheese tasted mushy offering little depth of homemade character. The biscuits were also very dry. They looked great, but tasted bland. The fried fish & tartar sauce was probably the most memorable dish. However, not everyone in our party had it because they do not like it. There's other options for "main" choices, but you'll have to compromise as a group. You'll have to do the same as far as the sides too! I would not recommend Paula Deen's Family Restaurant based on this visit and would advise potential patrons to consider other options for Southern comfort food while in Myrtle Beach. There are many more options within this great broad-walk complex. That said, I would suggest shopping in the gift store located in the downstairs of the building, as there are lots of merchandise that represents Paula Deen far better than her eatery. * If you happen to be a Food Network FAN (like I am). Flavor Town is coming to the other side of town. Location will be at the Myrtle Beach Mall & will open in June 2026*
