This was hands down the best breakfast that we have eaten in Myrtle Beach. It's a charming space, and we had quick seating on a Monday morning. The server, Leonid V, was attentive, professional, and kind. He checked in often and just had a great attitude. The Blueberry Ricotta Waffle was decadent. I'm not a big ricotta fan, so I tasted it and ate around it. The waffle was light and fluffy, packed full of blueberry goodness and topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries and the blueberry ricotta (I think a creamy ricotta with a hint more sweetness would knock this out of the park). The home fries were a couple of notches above basic, good and crispy on the outside. The bacon was baconing! My husband got the Steak Chimi and really enjoyed it, only saying that he would have loved more sauce on the side. He really enjoyed his meal and his steak was cooked well. The coffee wasn't very strong, but good as a black coffee. I will be hard pressed to ever go anywhere else for breakfast when visiting Myrtle Beach from here on out. I am glad we came early to this cute place because it gets very busy, quickly. We loved it so much here that we dined here 2 mornings in a row. The first visit, we started with the Mimosa Flight, SO good; blueberry was my fave, so I got a glass of that the 2nd time we went. Both mornings we were a large party; we ordered the salmon benedict, blueberry pancakes, blueberry waffles, Southerner skillet, Truffled western steak skillet, melting pot omelet, The traditional, and steak chimi and eggs. Went to this place to see what the hype was about. I was sadly disappointed. The Cinnamon Roll French Toast was a bit dry. The eggs, just okay, a little bland. The waiter that we had never asked if we wanted any drink refills. Also, we ate inside the restaurant and there were flies swarming around the entire time, to the point I brought out my fan from my purse to try and hold them off. The ambiance was okay, it does get pretty loud inside with conversations and no type of buffer. Also I got the impression that there a/c may not have been working because it was quite warm inside, and I saw a few of the employees fanning themselves. I wish we had this restaurant in Houston because it was sooooo good! It was our last day on our trip and we were on our way to a fishing trip. It was surprisingly very busy for a late Monday morning. We barely had an hour to eat, but fortunately we were able to be seated immediately on the patio. We told our waitress we were on a time crunch and she took care of us so well to get us in and out! She was quick taking our orders and went ahead and brought us the check when our food came out. As for the food, absolutely delicious! I ordered the blueberry hushpuppies to start. They came out warm and soft on the inside with a little crisp on the outside. They were cooked perfectly and the butter and compote that come with it really set it off. I loved them! I ordered a classic breakfast with scrambled eggs, grits and blueberry sausage. The grits were creamy and I liked the sweet and savory of the blueberry sausage. My wife and I are in town this week and decided to stop at Blueberry before running around for the day. It wasn't very busy, unlike the summer when there's always a long wait. The restaurant was decorated very nice for Christmas very welcoming. We ordered our usual breakfasts: my wife had eggs, bacon, sliced apples, and a grilled blueberry muffin, and I had the classic Benedict with potatoes. The meals came out pretty quickly, and both looked excellent. I didn't take new photos since they looked the same as the ones I've already posted. One thing we noticed -- prices have gone up a bit. Both the Benedict and my wife's meal went up almost $1.50 since last year. Also, make sure you look over the menu carefully: there are items listed that are almost identical, but one is priced higher than the other. Not sure why -- kind of like when we were looking at live Christmas trees and saw two identical ones priced differently. Overall, the food was very good, just a little overpriced. But we'll definitely be back; there are a lot of places we like in the area, and Blueberry is still one of them. read more

Stopped here for brunch as soon as we got to Myrtle Beach. Had the pancakes, which were nice and buttery and fluffy. Very filling. I was full, but had to finish them because they were so good. Eggs, sausage patties, and grits accompanied the pancakes well. I prefer restaurant grits that are more creamy, but they were good, nonetheless. Ordered a mimosa flight, and all the flavors were refreshing amd perfect way to start my birthday. This place is super busy but it's impressive how everyone works together so well- servers, busers,, people who deliver the orders. We started with the blueberry hush puppies with the blueberry compote. They were so sweet, not recommended for someone with diabetes. We ordered the western steak & egg bowl, a regular eggs with bacon plate (the eggs cooked perfectly but bland) and an omelette. We all agree the food was at least a 6.5/10. It was just ok. It would not be my first recommendation if a friend or family member asked for suggestions. I think the name draws people in more than the food. We paid $109+ with the tip.
