It has that regulars diner feel, yet I am sure they have more visitors than regulars because they are located on the strip. Are there better places to get a better breakfast? Yum & yum! Now I typically do pancakes but didn't feel like a heavy meal for our beach day. We decided to do a traditional breakfast and it was delicious. As we walked down Ocean Ave, Saturday mornings after 10 AM for breakfast - most places are full. Line outside waiting full! This diner style restaurant was busy but still had room to be seated immediately. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and Corn beef hash, eggs & grits. I had a decaf coffee with packaged creamer. The service was spectacular. Our server was juggling about 5 tables but stopped by frequently, refilled our water, etc. The kitchen moved quickly to get orders out & get the next party seated. They bus and clean tables as soon as you depart. I'd add this to my Myrtle Beach trip list for breakfast or brunch. Next time I'm going to get the pancakes. read more

The service was lovely. Wait staff were very attentive and friendly for Saturday morning service. The establishment was clean, organized, and well maintained. The staff had it all under control and very well prepared. The food was well prepared and served. I ordered the country ham and cheese omelette. I had originally wanted to order the western omelette with the ham, but I could not sub out the virginia ham for country ham without a few dollar up charge, which is understandable. The southern potatoes were delicious. This review is missing a star due to the cheddar/cheese used in the omelettes that congeals after cooking. I came to eat here on Friday morning. There was absolutely no one dining here so I got sat down immediately. The best item out of everything I ordered were the pancakes. There was a side of potatoes that I ordered that weren't so great. I also had two eggs with some bacon. Very simple but still kind of weren't prepared well. Today 9-13-2025 we came back for breakfast again and not disappointed. Our waitress today was Julia (same o e as last time) and she was super! I had French toast with egg and bacon (some of the best French toast I've had). The French toast was the right amount of crispy with a hint of cinnamon. Husband had sausage gravy biscuits with eggs and country ham, he said delicious. Ham was not too thin and not too salty, just right, everything was delicious. Last year's review: Julia took very good care of us, water and coffee never ended. We had the "egging you on" Country ham, eggs, biscuits & gray: bacon, eggs, grits & toast. We've been to several pancake houses in Myrtle Beach this week and this was our favorite. Apples to apples they all have about the same choices but Olympic's food was simpler better tasting. Comfortable spacious seating, friendly waitress. Butter, syrup, jelly etc already at the table so you don't have to keep asking. Prices reasonable. A full carafe of hot tea so I didn't have to ask for refills. Nice job! read more

I would give 5 stars had it not been for the disgruntled employees. Our food was good as always but at the end of this visit, our young, attentive waitress made a simple mistake on our bill. Rather than it being taken care of quietly, the lady checking us out openly berated her with the rudest tone. Then as we completed our transaction she said, "Thank you, come back and we'll entertain you again". Myrtle Beach is home to tons of pancake houses and for someone like me who's obsessed with pancakes, can be a little overwhelming! Luckily, my hotel was next to the Olympic Flame. I knew automatically that I was going to try this out! Got in and was seated right away (was around 0830am on a Weds). The server was wonderful and quick. I got the basics like I typically do at pancake houses.. Pancakes, eggs and bacon and my son the same.. it was delicious! Reasonably priced and they offer a 10% military discount, I also know that they pair with the local hotels for a 10% discount as well. You just need to show your room key! This is a great place to get your day started. The menu is extensive, and full of traditional breakfast items as well as a few items you might not expect. First off this diner was so cute and homey. We sat at a booth by the windows and it was really giving diner vibes. We had the iron man and Olympian breakfast since my boyfriend and I both wanted waffles and pancakes. Both were very good. We also ordered some biscuits and gravy that we throughly enjoyed. The sausage gravy was delicious and we were happy that the biscuits were very soft. We even talked about wanting to get just plain biscuits because they were so soft. If you love biscuits and gravy I totally recommend getting theirs. We also had pineapple juice and the French vanilla iced coffee. The juice was refreshing but as for the iced coffee it had a distinct sugar free taste that I wasn't a fan of. I ordered the crepe with strawberries. There were plenty of strawberries but just one crepe. I was hoping there might be 2 or 3, but it was still delicious and light.
