I would not trust the one star reviews. The chocolate soufflé was what we went there to try, it was worth it! We also decided to get the soufflé pancakes and split them. They were the best pancakes I have ever had in my life! Sharon was our server and she was absolutely delightful! My wife cannot wait to go back. She said it is our new signature spot! Next time I want to sit on the patio because the weather should be perfect! read more

Well, well, well... what can I say? The highlight of the experience was reading the menu. It was thoughtfully designed with lots of exciting and creative options that had us genuinely looking forward to our meal. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. We had a party of six, and our meals came out six different times. Multiple dishes were missing items like pancakes or eggs. When some of the food was finally corrected, the eggs were cooked over easy instead of scrambled. To top it off, one person's entrée didn't arrive until everyone else had already finished eating. Did I mention the air conditioning wasn't working? We spent the meal sweating in the South Carolina heat. The soufflé wasn't properly baked and even had pieces of eggshell in it. That was the final disappointment in what had already become a frustrating experience. To the restaurant's credit, the manager did take $10 off the bill after I asked to speak with them. However, I was hoping for a genuine conversation about what had gone so wrong rather than a token discount. This visit was a complete disappointment. It was a one-and-done experience for me. read more

Easily my new favorite breakfast spot in North Myrtle Beach. Soufflé's is a welcoming restaurant that is nicely decorated and offers indoor and outdoor seating. In a city being taken over by folks from northern states, Soufflé's still has the southern hospitality and charm that soothes the soul. The food is top notch as well. Sometime it's the little things that make the experience enjoyable. Bringing good quality butter to the table along with some other accompaniments makes a huge difference. As does having better quality jams. Soufflé's definitely pays attention to detail. The Southern Comfort omelette was my choice for breakfast and I couldn't have been more satisfied. All of the ingredients were evenly distributed throughout the omelette and it was cooked just the way I liked it. The grits were perfect and no butter was needed in them. My wife enjoyed her omelette as well. She picked her ingredients. The highlight for me was the Grilled Blueberry Muffin. My wife and I split it and damn it was good. They give you some special sauce for it but I prefer using the sweet butter. Best of all, our breakfast didn't break the bank. It was a very reasonable price and well worth the value. Bravo Soufflé's. read more

Love this breakfast spot! The service was excellent from start to finish. The host warmly welcomed us and gave a detailed overview of the daily specials, which was a great touch. Our server was incredibly attentive and made sure everything arrived in a timely manner. The food quality was outstanding--fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. I would definitely come back again! read more

We are locals and have been here a few different times. Food is good. We usually go for brunch. Still a shame they don't have their liquor license. Staff are nice and attentive. Soft drinks were flat and undrinkable. Restaurant could use a deep clean. Ceiling, ceiling tiles and hvac system was disgusting. Do yourself a favor and and don't look up. read more

I wish I had a picture of our breakfast, it was so good I forgot to take one before we ate. The food was amazing, especially a bargain for the price. Drop Coffee was also excellent! Service was impeccable as well! Biscuits and gravy: gravy perfectly seasoned, biscuits were fluffy yet the edges were crispy. Scrambled eggs: were perfect, not too dry or wet and very well made All or nothing breakfast was bigger than I thought and everything was very tasty. Bacon was crisp, pancakes fluffy with buttery crispy edges, skillet potatoes fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside and eggs were fried perfect with runny yolk. read more

Seated right away. Friendly server, but took Forever just to get water and our drinks. Other servers came up to us several times to see if we had been helped already. My husband never got his coffee until he asked a long time later. When I went to order the souffle pancakes at 10:00 a.m. (because we were waiting so long) they said they were out. Seems odd for a place named Souffles to be out by 10:00 a.m.; would have been nice if the server had told us that when we arrived instead of waiting until after she took my order. Food was ok. Fancy coffee was good. Wouldn't go back. read more

This place is a gem in North Myrtle Beach! My cousin gave us the recommendation and we had a delicious breakfast. The ambiance was fresh and new and the service was excellent. Our server was extremely attentive and friendly and while we discussed where we are from (Philly suburbs), she sent out another team member who is originally from Delco to chat with as well. The meals were fresh and delicious, we chose items unique to the restaurant: the Italian Fetish French Toast and the Wholesome Omelette. Our coffee was refreshed often and we were even given extra to go for our drive back to PA! I cannot recommend Soufflé's more highly and will look forward to going back in the future. read more

The home fries at Souffles are elite. They healed something inside of me that I didn't know was broken.

Love the food (pancakes!!!) and service is always impeccable. We will definitely be back!

We had a couple weird things happen here, but overall the team apologized for any mistakes and we really enjoyed our meal. We came in on a busy Sunday and the woman at the front was very nice, but was saying that she had no idea how long it would be for a table. We said we understood and that we would wait, and she almost seemed as if once all the tables were full that we were SOL. She took down my info and as she did, a table opened up... problem solved. Or so we thought. Nobody was ever told that we sat down so 20 minutes went by before they realized nobody was serving us. We had plenty of time to review the menu at that point and were starving so we ordered the souffle pancakes to share at the table knowing they take extra time. I've always wanted to try these fluffy style pancakes so we agreed it would be a fun appetizer. The four of us also all ordered entrees and coffee drinks. If you love iced coffee drinks that aren't overly sweet, the Cafe Fouette is a game changer. I haven't enjoyed a coffee drink the way I did that in a long time... especially outside of a coffee shop. We all loved our meals. I had the Let's Get Hashed Benedict with potatoes and it was fantastic. I love that they use a homemade english muffin as well. We let them know that they forgot the souffle pancakes and our server went to check on them. A little bit later the chef came out and said he tried to do them on the fly, but his batter wasn't right and they kept sinking. We were bummed about missing the appetizer, (which he explained shouldn't be ordered as an appetizer because of how long they take) but he offered to replace it with the French Beignets. Although it wasn't the app we wanted, it was the dessert we needed. The beignets were warm, fresh, flakey, and served with this amazing compote which definitely made us forget all about pancakes. Along with the hiccups in service, the staff at Souffle's totally redeemed themselves and the food itself was perfect. I would absolutely go back. read more

The food was average, but good average. I got the Southern Comfort Omelette and it's like any other omelette - egg, veggies, and not enough meat in my opinion. I did not particularly enjoy the home fries because I prefer them to be smaller in size and crisper. Instead, these home fries were huge - one of the pieces took me three bites to finish! They also were not seasoned and so plain. I did not finish them. The rest of the family seemed to enjoy their meals. The beignets were delicious as long as you put on the sweet cream dip on it! Yum! The waitress was very kind and the restaurant has a nice homey ambiance to it. The only thing I did not care for is that they have their ketchup in the little to-go sauce plastic containers instead of just having a ketchup bottle on the table. We had to ask for ketchup for at least four of us (out of 7). I like ketchup on my omelette and with the home fries, but they only gave one container and I didn't want to bother them asking for more. read more

This restaurant is a small local brunch spot that has a nice laid back atmosphere. We started off with an order of fresh and hot beignets that came with a divine blueberry lavender sauce. Each order comes with five small rectangular pieces covered in powdered sugar. The outer crust was flakier than most beignets I have tried. Be prepared to get the best type of messy from all the sugar. My partner order the shrimp wrap with fries and it was delicious. The filling and the fries were both well seasoned and the wrap was toasted on the outside without affecting the fresh lettuce/tomatoes inside. The staff were very friendly and gave great service even when it got super busy after arriving. Now the ONLY reason I am giving this restaurant a 4/5 is because of a false advertisement that was the original reason I visited. The soufflé pancakes served were delicious don't get me wrong, but they were not the Japanese style thick pancakes that were shown in numerous images and descriptions. The waiter informed me they were getting complaints about them taking too long so they switched to a more traditional pancake height that was cooked faster. We will for sure be returning again to try more dishes and I recommend this spot to any Brunchies visiting the North Myrtle Beach area. read more

Had been wanting to try Soufflés for a while now and finally went in to check it out. We ordered beignets and Japanese pancakes. While the food held great promise and had flashes of yum, there were basic technical issues with the cooking which led to a disappointing experience. The beignets were raw and doughy inside. Probably 10 seconds in the deep fryer would've done it. The Japanese pancakes had entire plops of pure egg white instead of having it folded properly into the batter. Again, it was basic execution. With more care it could be a 5-star but as it, it's mediocre leaning to overpriced for poorly made food. Ambience was fine. Wish them luck. read more

Prepare to wait, and the wait is long. You can't call ahead or make reservations, so come early prepared to do something else while you wait. At least they will take down your phone number so you can shop nearby in the meantime. But if you order the famous Japanese souffle pancakes, you're going to be waiting a very long time after ordering as well and it could be as long as an hour. But I came here for this specifically for that so I waited. I'm glad I got to experience this unusual breakfast delight, but I probably wouldn't endure the wait for it again. The Japanese Souffle Pancakes are an impressive culinary feat indeed, but what you're getting is just a prettier but thicker pancake. My wife got the Under the Sea, which was absolutely delicious. They were out of crepes so it was made into a seafood Eggs Benedict, which they should add to the menu. In conclusion, 3 stars for the wait, 4 stars for the souffle pancakes, and 5 stars for the Benedict. read more

Service was great. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. Food was great for some but not for me; with that said I would try it again. I had the corn beef hash which is one of my favorite breakfast dishes and this was not good at all. It wasn't even hot enough. I ordered the Trio Kale Salad- as indicated, it was supposed to be 3 types of kale. The description sounded lovely... However, the only kale I was served, was old, moldy curly kale. I literally picked through it to find some decent pieces. There were no figs- so they subbed fresh strawberries, which was ok. The blueberry dressing was decent- not a lotta flavor. The cinnamon bun I ordered was dry, but edible. My companions enjoyed their items. I wont be back. read more

My husband & I are locals here& used to go to Soufflés often. We had guests in for vacation & took them to breakfast here. The waitress was very unfriendly, all the food came out except mine. The waitress never came back to the table to check on us & offer more coffee . My husband finally went up to her & informed her that I never received my meal while everyone else was finished . She finally delivered my meal & never apologized but to make matters worse she blamed on the fact that I didn't want whip cream on my French toast .. huh?! Our guests left to go to the store while I ate my meal alone, waitress never came back to the table. I spoke with the manager who apologized but never took the meal off the bill or offered anything to try to satisfy us. We decided to try them one more time today because we did truly love this place sometime ago. It was pretty much the same, the waitress was clearly new & got my order wrong ( however it did come out on time) never came back to offer coffee, & check if everything was okay. Food was awful ..bacon was greasy, French toast undercooked & service was awful, so disappointing, I can't help but wonder if they changed owners but nonetheless, we will not be returning read more

We are local and decided we would try it. They were not busy at all and it took forever for the hostess to acknowledge us. Then she rolled her eyes and huffed when we said we had a party of. 5. We weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was because I feel like it was technically "off season", but we had to wait for our table for a Sunday brunch. After getting seated (it seems a bit tight) we finally understood. Our waitress was super friendly and the variety of menu items was nice. We got the souffle pancakes (shocked there were only 3, but apparently they are super fancy to make and sometimes they run out of batter and sometimes they won't be able to complete your order for them in a timely manner) and the triple play. Everything was super good and we even had food envy of everyone around us. I'm so happy we finally decided to give Souffle's a try as it is truly a gem to the area! read more

We had a really good meal for breakfast at this place. We did not order the souffle pancakes, but that's not why we came. Overall, the menu was strong and everything we ordered was using quality ingredients and tasted great. The service was very friendly and attentive despite what seemed to be an understaffed morning. We started with an order of the French Beignets which were good, but not anything super amazing if you've beignets before. I had the Canadian which was a traditional Eggs Benedict dish well-executed. My wife enjoyed the madam croquette, which she liked a lot. The kids ordered The let's get fruity French toast and the bananas Foster French toast. Though. Let's get fruity was good, but I was very pleased to help my kid finish off her Bananas Foster French toast. That was good stuff! read more
