Divey Sports Bar with a big bar and good food. Jimmagan's is a great place to relax and hang out.met lots of locals. Bartenders were great. Hats off to Sonny and Chad. Dive bar central could also be called "Jimmagan's". This place is the quintessential dive bar formula. Think cigarettes, pool tables, darts, golden tee, cheap drinks, and fried food. About 30 TVs surround the place, with every imaginable sport playing on at least one of them. And of course you have to have the owner seated at the end of the bar getting drunk to really make this a true dive bar. This place is not for the traveler looking for a nice cocktail. It's not a spot to bring the kids for dinner. It's a locals dive bar. If you don't want a Smokey, rough clientele to surround you in your night out. Don't go here. But, four stars for the diveyiness of this dive bar. read more

Pros: a ton of tv's, games, & free popcorn. Cons: parking is terribly sketchy, smoking inside, over priced food menu & lack of variety. As a local, I would not recommend going to this bar based on the lack of luster and appeal. The parking and smoking are a huge turn off, my opinion could be swayed if these things were changed. read more

Bartenders are great and food is delicious. Beware though because they charge you for their credit cards fees when you use a debit/credit card. About a dollar on 25$. Love the place, just make sure you pay in cash. I travel half of the U.S. and I have never seen this. Just raise your prices to cover the fee! read more

Came here while on vacation. Place is sketchy looking from the outside and almost missed it. Inside it is basically a local dive bar, with tons of tv's, pool tables, smoking inside( which we aren't used to) but I still felt right at home. Food was very tasty and service was timely. I went in to watch a college football game the weekend I was in Myrtle and found Jimmagan's on Yelp, not many reviews, but I gave it a try. Glad I did! From outside, you don't expect much, but once you walk in, there are 30+ TVs, Direct TV and plenty of inexpensive beer options. I didn't eat any food, but it appeared there was a kitchen in the back. Heather was great and made sure she got my game on TV even when there were issues. She had to steam it on a few TVs through ESPN3.com but I was just happy to see the game. If I'm ever looking to watch a sporting event in Myrtle again, it will definitely be at Jimmagan's! Just an FYI, you can smoke in the bar, but when I was in there, the ventilation was very good and I wasn't bothered by the few people that were smoking. read more

Found on Yelp. Looked for a locals' sports bar to watch my Tigers. Very friendly barmaid. Accommodated our request to put game on. Good prices and nice place. Lots of tv's and a good TouchTunes box. Smoking allowed but they have smoke exhausters that seem to do the job. We aren't smokers. I'll be back here all week while in Myrtle. Highly recommend. read more

This is definitely a locals joint but coming here on vacation has been a good time. The service is awesome and the food was good the menu is definitely a bar menu and I had wings both times I ate here out of the four times I've been I could tell the difference between the cooks which I did see who was working each time. the wings were good the first time and outstanding the second I know it sounds crazy but I think they was just cooked a little longer the second time where the first time they may have been a little rushed. Came here to watch the ALCS game one. It was recommended for good burgers and other good food. The people were very nice and there are pool tables and dart boards. The drinks were a good price. We all ordered the burgers and we're not in a hurry so when it took some time to get the food it was not a problem but we got the food, the fries were cold and the burgers were very burnt and crunchy on one side. The people with me had the burgers before said the burgers were much better last time so it might have been an isolated incident. I would expect that they should have redone the burgers and sent out unburned burgers. Just disappointed. Also it cost an extra dollar per burger to get grilled onions. read more

I brought my family into Jimmagan's on one of the busiest sports days -- the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The place was packed and there was only one bartender working the entire bar and surrounding areas. There was not a manager in site. The poor bartender was set up for failure. The place ran out of hamburgers at 1 p.m. I received the last one and it was burnt (I ordered a medium). The TV system wasn't working correctly. I think the place itself has a nice atmosphere. However, I question the lack of management and oversight. read more
