One of the best things value this location is having our BMWCCA luncheon hosted at Fiesta Mexicana in Myrtle Beach and once again they knocked it out of the park. This place has become our go to for group dinners because everything is consistently fantastic. The food is seriously some of the most authentic Mexican around here, none of that watered-down tourist stuff. The flavors are bold, the ingredients are fresh, and the portions are huge. I always end up with a full to go box for lunch the next day. And can we talk about the tequila? They have the best selection in the area, hands down. Smooth stuff that actually tastes good, not the cheap burn you up kind. Perfect for toasting with the club. And they have 2 bottles of tequila only they serve that they specifically get from Mexico. Visited last night after a long 12 hour drive. The resort were staying a few blocks away so we walked. We arrived around 10PM the staff was very nice we were offered indoor or outdoor seating we choose outdoor since it was nice out we requested to sit in the back area. It was a nice vibe with lights in the trees and on the table as well as music. Our server was great unfortunately I don't remember his name. We were given chips and salsa when we got our drinks. We ordered a sampler to start, then we had Al pastor tacos and a mixed fajita I don't have the exact name it came with steak, pulled pork, chicken and shrimp. Our daughter had a kids meal that included one beef taco that came with rice and beans. We had a birthday at our table instead of a piece of cake they brought a tequila shot with a lime and a candle. So this place is always crowded. So we finally got the chance to try this restaurant. We ate outside it was a rare cool day here in Myrtle Beach. It was enjoyable eating in their outdoor area. And of course dessert I ordered Sopapilla with ice cream (a little disappointed -Sopapillas I have had in the past were more like a donut- these were crispy like chips- and they forgot the cherry ). We arrived during the holidays, and the restaurant was very festive. The atmosphere is inviting, with fun music and friendly staff that make you feel welcome right away. I also loved seeing the different postings on the walls advertising various events--it definitely feels like a place you'd want to come back to again and again. The menu has plenty of options, including several varieties of margaritas and a nice selection of beers. The jumbo strawberry margarita was delicious and well balanced, not overpowering at all. The lunch-sized chimichanga was tasty and filling without being too much, and the chicken fajitas were exactly what you'd expect--fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I would say the Passionrita is the best passion juice margarita my wife has had! The Margarona was good & I was craving it! My pollo ranchero was a lot & had to carry out half of it. It's been 3 years but on our first night hitting Fiesta Mexicana was the consensus. The Shrimp Fajitas and tacos didn't disappoint. We washed that food down with Palomas and margaritas. Came here 2x during my trip to Myrtle Beach. This is the go to spot for Mexican food when visiting according to the locals and honestly they were right. The food is good!!! This place gets really busy and they don't take reservations but thankfully there was no wait both times we came. First time we came we came with our friends, we ordered the table side guacamole which was only $10 it was so worth it and one of the best guacamole I ever had. Not to mention the cheapest too especially when dining out, whatever the red salsa stuff they put on the side it was sooo good!!! The ambience is fun, nice and clean. They have a really big restaurant lots of seating indoors, at the bar and outdoors. Seems like a lot of people come here for big celebrations, saw several large parties here celebrating birthdays. I also ordered the chicken fajitas they were flavorful, well seasoned and a really good portion. I actually loved the food so much I had to come back a 2nd time. The only thing I didn't like was the photographer, she comes around and asks to take your picture for a free postcard. Than, they print out a bunch of pictures and say it's $15. Unfortunately, I didn't have more than $10 cash on me and she was like you don't have a card and just rudely walked away. I get it they need to make money but jeez give me some time. I actually liked the photo too oh well! All in all service was good by our server, food was good and definitely a happening, lively spot thar serves up delicious food. Absolute disaster and would never go back to this restaurant again. There was no coordination at all. Lines everywhere that led to nothing basically. When asked to explain to us which line to be in for us to be seated no one could answer the question. I did get a drink from the bar and it was trash. What was supposed to be premium margaritas was not at all "premium" it was well tequila and some sort of drink mix. Such a terrible experience... read more

Pictures of the food are incredible and look good in person, that is the best pet of the experience. We visited in July, middle of the week, and took a patio seat as the inside tables had a long wait. We didn't have long to wait for our server Samantha. She our drink order and left us to the menus. Chips and salsa arrived quickly, good chips and okay salsa. Drinks came out quickly, very light pour on the bar drinks. We placed our order for entrees and sampler platter as an appetizer. Samantha had a little trouble understanding our order although the only special order was to replace the red and cheese sauce with green sauce. The sampler platter was served without a long wait. It was left at the table without my explanation or plates to eat from. We waited for five minutes and then had to ask two servers for plates before Samantha arrived with them. We asked Samantha what was on the platter and she had to go get an explanation. The platter was okay but not very flavorful. Entrees arrived with the sauce on the chimichangas had the wrong sauce and the we received one tacos Al pastor when the menu clearly says it is four. The food server took the chimichangas and had them remade correctly. Samantha took the one taco away, it was returned to the table by a food server who wanted us to take it while we waited for the correct order, but we returned it. Chiles poblano we're okay but boring, tasting mostly of sauce. Steak quesadilla was stuffed with flank steak that was fatty and gristle, even after pouring pico de gallo on it was bland. The tacos Al pastor arrived and were underwhelming. We left without finishing. Boring and bland with spotty service. I would not recommend. read more

We usually love fiesta mexicana but our last visit was not good. Service was unbelievably slow. I am a server and I understand being busy but my server was not busy. Drinks empty the entire time,chip basket empty, food came from food runners and our server Noe never came back until we were done with our meal. We asked for an extra cup of cheese when ordering for our ACP it never came out, we never even had the opportunity to ask him for it because he didn't come back to the table until everyone finished eating. When the check came, the extra cheese was on the check and we had to get it taken off. Another table our server had was complaining to a manager. It was a Saturday night and it was busy but our waiter was not busy. He was chatting with people at the bar while we were waiting on refills and our extra cheese lol.
