We had an excellent dinner @ Waterscapes this evening. We are staying at the Marina Inn. Our first night we wanted to stay in, this was a wonderful choose. The Char Fish was excellent. The bread arrived with a Madison jar filled with; goat cheese, olive oil, some rosemary and roasted tomatoes, I really enjoyed it. The Crab Cake was also delicious. I didn't care for Bloody Mary's but I was told the shrimp cocktail with Bloody Mary sauce was very good. It was a wonderful dinner and highly recommend for anyone staying in the Marina Inn or just visiting Myrtle and looking for a great dinner evening out.

Complimentary bread with that amazing spread!

We came to Waterscapes for a nice dinner out for our friends 30th birthday. We wanted nice and fancy, and that is exactly what we got. Located inside the grande dunes marina inn, is this tasteful restaurant with a wide range of delicious meals. Most of the meals on the menu offered were seafood. However, this is was the marina inn, so I didn't expect anything less. We sat down and received complimentary bread, with the best spread! It was olive oil, goat cheese (YUM!), sundries tomatoes, fresh rosemary and fresh thyme. It was so good, I want to try to create it at home myself. I ordered the seared salmon for dinner. It was absolutely amazing. I finished my entire plate which I normally don't do when we go out to eat. The salmon was cooked perfectly and laid on a bed of wilted kale and a pile of green lentils. I can't talk more highly of this dish. It was just that great. I'd go back just to eat it again. It is pricey in my opinion. My fiancé and I got the salmon dish, a chicken dish, and he also ordered one glass of wine. I skipped the alcohol that night, we did not get appetizers, nor dessert, and the bill came to $75 for the two of us, not including tip. But for a rare occasion and a nice place, I enjoyed myself a lot.

This place is why God gave us tastebuds! Visited in the off-season, so we were seated immediately. Shared a shrimp cocktail that was so good, with a very tangy cocktail sauce. I then had the pork entree with fingerling potatoes and arugula and it was everything I hope it would be! Fabulous flavor, tender to cut yet a little crispy on the outside. Hubs had the small filet, which was also tender and flavorful- no steak sauce needed! Splurged for dessert on the chocolate mouse cake and vanilla lavender creme brûlée. Both were perfect and a great end to a wonderful meal. Service was spot-on; Sharon was our waitress and she was very nice and attentive. Price-wise, entrees started from $22 and up. It was an expensive dinner, but overall one of the best meals I've ever had in MYB.

Celebrating a birthday, server Chris really knowledgeable about the wine. Confit duck nachos were amazing, salmon, scallops and filet mignon. Food was amazing. Service impeccable.

We had a wonderful meal at Waterscapes! The clams w/ pasta, and the pork chops were amazing. Apps and dessert were yummy, as well. I recommend this restaurant for it service and atmosphere.

Delicious burrata with tomatoes and parmesan crostini

We absolutely loved the food here. It's easy to miss, being in the basement of a hotel, but the food makes it worth seeking out. We had the burrata to start, the pasta with white clams, and the ribeye. The one thing that I didn't like about our meal was the roasted fingerlings that came with the ribeye. They were way overdone and we barely touched them. Besides that, everything was great and the service was fantastic! We took a stroll around the property afterward to try and work off some of our meal. If we make it back to Myrtle Beach one day, we will surely return to try some of their other dishes.

The atmosphere is exactly what a beach seafood spot should be--laid-back, welcoming, and full of local charm. The seafood was incredibly fresh, the portions were generous, and everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. The oysters, shrimp, and crab legs were outstanding. What really sets Bimini's apart is the service. Even when they're busy, the staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. You can tell why this place has been a Myrtle Beach favorite for decades. If you're looking for fresh seafood, cold drinks, great service, and a true local beach vibe, Bimini's is a must-visit. Easily one of the best dining experiences we've had on the Grand Strand.

We ordered the shellfish sampler 4 oysters, 4 clams, 4 mussels and every single one was dry and completely flavorless. No brine, no sweetness, nothing that makes fresh shellfish worth eating. And the butter served alongside? Movie theater butter. That's the only way I can describe it. The service was forgettable at best. North Myrtle Beach deserves better seafood than this, and honestly, so do the tourists who come here specifically for it. We won't be back.

We looked at the reviews first on Yelp, and they were pretty mixed, but we hoped for the best. On arrival we were greeted at the door and were seated promptly. We arrived at around 4:30 pm, and the place wasn't that full, but everything smelled pretty good. Too bad good smells doesn't equate to good food... Most of the food we ate wasn't very good. The sausage I tried was mealy, and couldn't get past the first bite. The fried shrimp were popcorn sized, and soggy? I didn't even try the snow crab because they looked very small, and were swimming in an unknown liquid. The "ribeye" steak was cut razor thin, and was cooked well beyond well done. At least the prime rib was medium rare, but didn't have much flavor. The best things I ate consisted of the pretty good gumbo, crispy Brussel sprouts, and fresh cucumbers. The bbq ribs weren't too bad either. The wife and daughter had the same opinion of the food. I'll mark this experience as a skip if you are in the North Myrtle Beach area. Especially when two adult meals and a child priced meal (with three drinks) comes to a total of $160.00 with tip. Yikes.

We stopped at Captain George's Seafood Restaurant and it ended up being a great experience…read more It's about $50 for an all-you-can-eat buffet, which I'm usually hesitant about because I don't always eat enough to make it worth it--but this is a seafood buffet with crab legs (my favorite), so we decided to go for it. And it did not disappoint. The crab legs were the highlight--always stocked, served warm, and cooked really well. I tried a few other items that were just okay, nothing super standout, but for a buffet the quality of the crab legs alone made it worth it. We waited about 20 minutes in line to be seated, which wasn't bad, but just a heads up--there wasn't really anywhere to sit while waiting, so that could be a bit tough for anyone who needs accommodations. The desserts were also pretty good, and the place itself is huge. I loved the design details--everything has a nautical/boat theme, even the buffet stations and tables, which made it feel unique compared to other buffets. Service was great. We just had water, but staff constantly came around refilling drinks, clearing plates, and taking away crab leg shells, which made the whole experience smooth. Overall, we left full and very happy--definitely worth it if you're a crab leg fan!
