Had a great lunch today at F2T! The new owner Raymond Clark came to chat with us and give us the specials. Such a nice and warm person. We met Jean our waitress and she mixed up an excellent Bloody Mary! I started with the chicken and veggie soup which was very flavorful. My wife had the side salad with the tomatoes and garlic smoked like their meats which is an awesome touch. Ordered the brisket plate $24 and chose my two sides - smoked Gouda Mac and cheese and Grandmas Potato Salad, all three were delicious. I am not a fan of cornbread normally but Fire to Tables is the best I have ever had. My wife had the burnt ends plate $30 ...burnt ends are hard to find around these parts. So much work to smoke and make but worth every mouth watering bite. Sunday the 28th they will be hosting a traditional pasta dinner (not on regular menu). This will be served at tables set up like family on a Sunday afternoon in old country style. Starts at around 4pm we are signed up and are excited. Hope to see you there! read more

We have been driving by this place for years and finally decided to give it a shot for wings. Pleasantly surprised! Wings were meaty and crispy. They definitely hold the line of BBQ and smoked meat, with the sauces generous slathered on top. The brussel sprouts were very good for an appetize. Staff were friendly and helpful. Absolutely fabulous brunch. The view is fabulous and the wild oak that shades the deck with peaks of sunlight is picture perfect. Sat on the deck railing area and enjoyed a burnt end brisket bowl as well as a New York breakfast sandwich and our server Nina was kind enough to bring us an appetizer from the dinner menu, during brunch which was the fried brussels sprouts with blue cheese aïoli and it was incredible!!! The coffee with a kick was the inlet Bloody Mary came with three shrimp and all the veggies on top. The owner came out to chat with us and was so kind and genuinely interested in our experience and satisfaction. This will be a new Sunday staple spot for us!! read more

Great place! Came here with our family on a whim. Live solo music on an amazing patio with a fire and beautiful string lights. We just had to stay after dinner and enjoy the vibe for a bit. Everything on the menu is made from scratch. I did the bacon BBQ burger with the potato salad and it was delish. My husband had ribs/wings with a few sides, he also enjoyed. My daughter (13) actually ate adult food (ham/Gouda/over easy egg sandwich) with kettle fries and didn't complain (this is impossible if you have teens ). Got there in time to enjoy happy hour - I had the mule and it was wonderful. Place is newer, totally worth a try. Our server was great too! read more

This definitely with satisfy your BBQ fix. Ribs were good. Wish they weren't served with bbq sauce already on them. Whole chicken wings with a bbq/Alabama white sauce drizzle. The 1/2 chicken plate was a homerun. Wasn't a fan of the pork rinds. The Mac & cheese was like something I've never had. Was so creamy it coated your mouth. The beans were very tasty too. The one drawback I would say it is directly across from Suck, Bang, Blow. Very loud with the music and Harley Davidson bikes. Quite irritating. read more

Amazing! Moved here 2 months ago and this was our first visit! My son highly recommended and it did not disappoint! The service was as good as the food! This is usually a place we love to go to. Had an amazing pastrami sandwich several times I've been there however on this one occasion. Not sure if it was the end of the pastrami but it was in pieces almost shaved. It's hard to eat the sandwich when it was falling apart while pieces were falling out. Sorely disappointed. Happy that there are many other things on the menu that I could switch to going forward. read more

Stopped here on our last night in Murrells Inlet & our only regret is that we didn't come here sooner! Delicious smoked wings, awesome drinks (my boyfriend LOVED the smoked old fashioned - he got to pick what kind of wood chips) and live music too! The owners Ray and Jenny were awesome! My wife and I love this place. The prime brisket was melt in your mouth good. I loved the roasted Brussels and we both fell in love with the horseradish pineapple slaw. My only complaint had nothing to do with the food or the service. It was that the outdoor seats are pretty narrow and not so comfortable for a big butt like mine. But other than that, we will be becoming regulars. read more

Amazing portions. Great ribs and wings. The appetizers were all great too. My only gripe was the waitress wasn't very attentive and apparently they HAVE sweet tea but someone didn't know it. Don't ask me why I got so upset about that but it's wild that I had one, then got told I didn't have one only to receive unsweetened with sugar poured into it. Which still wasn't what I got the first time. And the waitress came by to give us salt and pepper and didn't bother asking if anyone else needed anything. I had to get up and ask for said (un)sweetened tea. Ok but the food was really good. So go try it! read more

I drive by this place all the time and finally stopped in this last weekend. So glad I did! My friend had the hog fried skins which smelled amazing, but I'm not a fan of fried pork skins so I passed. (She loved them). The oysters were delicious and the brisket was so tender, it melted in my mouth. Even the bbq sauces were great. When we were leaving, we decided to check out the downstairs patio bar and ended up staying a little longer. (They make real margaritas here, not the pre-mixed crap you get on the Marshwalk). Bartender was friendly and music was worth staying for. Definitely coming back here. read more

Great food! I had the brunch hash and Shrimp and Grits. The consistency of the grits was perfect. The buttery flavor of the dish was layered as well and I can tell a true chef was at the helm. Lilly at the Bar was smart and friendly too. I was concerned because no one was in there--maybe I came too early.? Good news, as I was leaving, some repeat customers/locals arrived . I know the competition for your restaurant dollar is brutal in this market- but locals , you do not want to loose this place. The food here is more akin to what you find in the big city. I will be back next month-will add pictures. Great food! read more

Fatty, tough inedible burnt ends. Coleslaw was nothing special and had sat in the sauce too long as the purple cabbage was bleeding, yet it had little taste. Potato salad was so bland and had no flavor-dressing hadn't really absorbed into the potatoes. It was freezing inside and quite a job to get a refill on our drinks. My friend said her chili was really good and the Brussels sprouts were good flavor, but burnt. Server was nice though we came in towards end of the night. read more

The fried skins are fantastic, well worth the $9...drizzled with white and red sauce...seriously good. I had the ham sandwich, the wife had the sausage and we both had house made pork fat fried chips. We debated desserts and when I thought I'd won the debate and settled on the PB& J donuts, the wife ordered the brown butter banana pudding too! Wow...just wow. Service was good as well. Drinks kept full...nothing we ever needed that wasn't readily available. The climb up the stairs was a little unexpected but fortunate since we decided to add dessert so we got a little exercise before overindulging. I found the white-washed interior very nice and barn-like, temperate and background noise appropriate and restrooms easily accessible and clean. Had a party of six tonight and none of us have ever been here, I had read good things about this place so I figured we would give it a try There was nothing we didn't like ! From the brussels sprout app all the way to the banana dessert everything was amazing ! We all either had the ribs or the brisket and they did not disappoint ! The cornbread and the spicy beans were on point also ! Our waitress was excellent and she made our visit even that much better ! Amazing food and drink. Service was amazing. Jesse the bartender made the most delicious Bloody Mary. Now that we know they do brunch we will be back. Fresh rolls and pastrami is out of this world delicious. Brisket like grandma used to make. The bands they are getting are top notch so come back at night and hang outside. The kids were starving so we went with the Burger, which was one serious burger if ask me, it was very good! It was a little pricey but you can tell they used good meat. I also split the arugula salad with my wife, and she had the risotto. Root is definitely worth checking out, it's a little pricier than some other spots but the food and service were worth it, give them a try!

A colleague decided to go to the front to check on the status and said waiter procceeded to yell at her very loudly. We immediately got up to leave and waiter continued to yell at the 3 of us as we were leaving. I've never experienced this type of behavior from any restaurant before.
