I took a picture to share but didn't since we did not have good experience.

Running out of food Service was lacking, hostess did not know we were there. Couple of customers were trying to let her know. Dimly light couldn't read menu very well. It felt like a bar more than a dining experience.

Delish! All the way.... START TO FINISH!

Small plate Filet Mignon, mashed potato's, seasoned grilled asparagus was WONDERFUL! Service was classy and fast. Very cheerful. The decor is classy but very fun and upbeat. Warm lighting.

Service was great except our waiter did not check back for some time and I literally had to ask a passing server for a refilling of water. But everyone was polite and the smiles seemed very genuine. Ambiance is reflective of Georgetown (historic and charming) though this is an enclosed part of The George Hotel.

Every dish felt curated and intentional. We started with the crab dip and corn bread and both were delicious. The Miso butter that comes with the cornbread gave it such a pleasant Umami note. For dinner we had the Chicken, Scallops, Pork Chop, and Shrimp and Grits. The carrot puree that held the scallops was so smooth, sweet, and rich. It complimented the scallops perfectly. My shrimp and grits were fantastic. The grits were the perfect texture, and the shrimp cooked to perfection. The bone in pork chop was perfectly cooked, was seasoned so well, and extremely tender and juicy. I think I was most impressed with the chicken, sweet potatoes, and bacon jam. It's hard to explain but the bourbon bacon jam almost tasted like how it smells when they smoke a cocktail, in the best way. The sweet potatoes tasted incredible and balanced out the savory chicken. I really can't recommend this resteraunt enough. From the food, to the service and the ambiance, everything was fantastic. I've dined at a handful of Michelin starred resteraunts and the overall quality and completion of the dishes here easily competes and surpasses those experiences. Thank you for such a wonderful dinner

First time visit. This is the third restaurant trying to make a comeback here…read more Only two things impressed us =quality of the food, and an ocean view if you get to sit in the east side of the restaurant. Downfalls and Disappointments: Food portions small in relation to cost. We left hungry. Restaurant views north and south you get to see hotel guests going in and out of their hotel room. A view west you get the reception area, so the only good view is east to the ocean. We tried wine by the glass and alcohol. The only Cabernet by glass was "Bonanza" at $15 which is about $5 too much since the whole bottle is $14 retail. That's $15x5$75 they get for a $14 cost. Real nice, however icing on the cake was the bartenders are trained to measure an exact 6oz measured pour and not one drop more! Like it's a $200 bottle of wine lol All drinks with cheap alcohol measured same way you don't get one drop more of a 4 oz shot. Had a conversation with the resident manager who basically coughed it all up to "industry standard" attitude, not understanding you have got to let bartenders POUR! Anyway my professional suggestion for this venue is good luck getting returning locals to come in on a regular basis when there are plenty of other venues we can spend our money and feel like we are getting our money's worth and stop the "industry standard attitude " of working your bar off a spreadsheet. If you plan to visit this restaurant, make sure you either eat something light before you go, and drink a few drinks before hand to help out on this visit

I've been to Bar 19 twelve for drinks before and have always been impressed by its modern decor,…read morelighted bar and excellent drink selection handled by professional bartenders. Since it was my father's last night in North Myrtle Beach until September I thought it would be a great place to have our last dinner together for a while. I dialed up my app and made a 7PM reservation for three. We pulled in about 6:50 and found a spot right in front of the restaurant...it was going to be a good night. We got inside and chose to sit indoors near the bar. My father likes to see people and I felt this would be a good spot to do this and it was. The restaurant was mid century modern in design, airy and uncluttered...we were seated in a booth - chair combo that was a rendition of that style. We looked at the drink menu and my father went for a glass of Pinot Noir, his friend went for a lemon drop martini and I went for a Heineken 00. The waitress couldn't be nicer and quickly brought us our drinks. The lemon drop was perfect and served in an ice cold steel martini glass while my father was quite happy with his California Pinot. We reviewed the food menu and decided to share two "tables"...the deviled eggs and the pimento cheese dip with home made pork rinds. Within a few minutes, four deviled eggs arrived dressed up with a slice of jalapeño and sprinkled with bacon bits. A large plate of fresh pork rinds with homemade pimento cheese came out simultaneously. The deviled eggs were excellent with just the right texture and not too moist...the bacon bits added another layer of flavor and the jalapeño gave it a nice kick, however, the pork rinds and pimento cheese stole the show. The rinds were light and fluffy with just the right amount of crunch and the pimento cheese was superb...very flavorful with nice chunks of pimento and grated cheese. My father was diving in on the cheese so fast it was tough to get some. His lady friend also commented on how good it was. Next came the mains. My father settled in the American Waygu Burger with hand cut fries, I went for the lamb rack with string beans and roasted fingerling potatoes and the lady went for the Arugula salad with candied pecans, Granny Smith apples , goat cheese and craisins. My lamb was excellent...medium rare with a nice flavorful crust with a hint of garlic and herbs. The potatoes were well roasted and tasty while the string beans were cooked correctly but a tad bland. The arugula salad was delicious with a nice citrus dressing that played well with the candied pecans and craisins...the smith apples was a nice contrast. My father in the other hand, ate way too much pimento cheese and rinds and as a result just picked in his fries, which were excellent...salted well, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. He ended up taking the burger home. Amazingly, when dessert was brought up he was all in. Although known for their "Butter Cake" we decided to share(and by share I mean my father had about 90% of it) the Triple Layer Chocolate Cake. Turns out it's as good as it sounds...intense chocolate flavor in a very moist cake with vanilla ice cream and homemade whipped cream on the side...top notch. Sadly, it was getting late and my father had an early plane to catch so we got the bill(more reasonable than I expected), tipped the excellent waitress and said our good nights. We made plans to come back in September...although I'll be back well before that...Bar 19 Twelve will be going on my rotation.

Instead, take a scenic detour to Georgetown's charming Front Street and Riverwalk, where dinner feels like the start of a mini vacation. We pulled into Buzz's Roost around 8 p.m. on a cool, damp Friday night in May, and the New England clam chowder was exactly what the doctor ordered. Warm, creamy, and comforting, it melted away the stress of the workweek with the very first spoonful. Our blackened fresh fish sandwiches were outstanding. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the seasoning had just the right kick to remind you that simple food can still be unforgettable. The atmosphere is one of my favorite parts. With its exposed brick interior and waterfront setting, Buzz's Roost feels like a cozy warehouse transformed into a laid-back riverfront hangout. Friendly service made us feel right at home, and the skeeball and foosball tables were tempting enough that we're already planning a return visit. I can easily picture coming back on a warm summer evening--or even during football season--to soak in the Riverwalk views, enjoy a great meal, and unwind. They also brew their own beer, which is a nice touch. My only wish is that they offered a non-alcoholic beer on draft for those of us making the road trip and keeping it light. Buzz's Roost is more than just a restaurant stop--it's a reminder that sometimes the best part of the journey is pulling over and discovering a place you can't wait to revisit.
