Great place for Saturday lunch! We apparently arrived at the right time. Although most tables were occupied, we didn't have to wait to be seated. The menu featured a variety of healthy choices (follow the symbols) and included exactly what we were looking for. I had the avocado omelet with grits and a treat my grandmother often made for me: raisin toast with blackberry preserves. My friend had the avocado toast, which she said was delicious. As we topped off the meal with mugs of hot coffee, I kept looking for Norm from the sitcom "Cheers" to show up any minute. The restaurant had that kind of atmosphere. And yes, they do serve alcohol. Food is pretty good, however we waited over 35 minutes for our food. Server never came & checked on us, refilled drinks or even after we had gotten our food came back to see if we needed anything else. Went here on Friday August 15th 2025 with my dad for some breakfast. We actually got there as they opened. As soon as the closed sign switched to open, we opened the door and walked right in. A host greeted us and sat us down . We sat in a table this time towards the front. Comfy though. Our server was new, but very nice. She immediately got us coffees and waters. She also refilled them efficiently too. Could have explained that the flapjacks come with eggs, as I don't think it's on the menu but nonetheless. anyways, for breakfast, I ordered the Chocolate Chip Flapjack pancakes that came with eggs, which i got scrambled, and beyond sausage. My dad got Blueberry flapjacks with eggs over easy, and hash browns. Food came out in a timely manner and was delicious! However, we were also getting full, and asked our waitress for boxes to take our food home. I did eat mine the next day, and they were even more enjoyable! We also got the check, and I also filled out an application to work here! We left a cash tip on the table, and paid via credit card with the host in the front. My first ever trip was a success. The menu was very diverse and anybody could enjoy breakfast. I had the Hash with an over medium egg. As per usual, I ordered their classic eggs Benedict and swapped out Canadian bacon for regular bacon. The eggs were poached "medium." I also got the seasoned potatoes as my side. They do offer grits or fruit as a side, as well. The Benedict was very good, crispy bacon and eggs just as described-poached medium. The potatoes packed a nice punch, but were slightly underdone. We decided to stop in for breakfast today. I'm so glad we did. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with fruit, and my husband had one pancake with bacon. Everything was made exactly as we ordered it. (Over medium eggs and well done bacon.) The fruit was extremely fresh and had a good variety of different fruits/berries. We will definitely be back. One of the best places I've ever eaten brunch hands down! The service is exceptional and the food is fresh, hot and delicious. I love that the service staff all work together as one team. The only thing that I don't like are the color of the walls. I like the style, I just don't like the colors, they seem to be depressing colors and not happy at all. I'm currently visiting family here, and I was treated to breakfast at this establishment. It didn't disappoint. The restaurant is very family oriented and the service was awesome. My sister ordered the flapjacks with eggs and country ham, my brother in law had the stuffed French toast with bacon and I had The Blah, blah, blah omelette with home fries and city ham. Went there this morning and everything started out nice. My daughter ordered the French toast and immediately spit it out because there was way too much cinnamon on it. She asked the server if she could just have a waffle instead. The server was very nice and said sure. As a former restaurant owner this of course was the proper answer. As she was explaining it to the manager (beside our table) he said well they're crazy it doesn't have to much cinnamon. To call a customer crazy and not even come by our table and apologize was something I just couldn't believe.
