Very crowded this Saturday morning but was seated quickly and the staff were super nice, Especially Brittany. The seated quickly part was the reason we chose Waffle House despite all the excellent breakfasts in town but not only was it quick and they were nice but the food was delicious. Waffle House can't miss. read more

I was in South Carolina so I HAD to try a Waffle House. I'm glad I did as the staff was very friendly even though they were working on Christmas day. Our order was to go and was quickly made. I will be back! read more

Chose Waffle House in memory of my brother. It was his favorite breakfast spot. Looking at the menu I couldn't decide. Finally decided on a BLT with eggs another memory of my dad used to make those every Saturday. The sandwich was perfect. Ended coming back two more times during my stay staff super efficient, helpful and fun. The place is not the cleanest, but they make every effort to, the jukebox adds a nice touch. read more

My husband and I like to come here first thing in the morning before the weekend rush. We love sitting in Miss Cherie's(I think that's her name) section. She's the best waitress there. I have never had a bad plate of food from the Waffle House. read more

Amazing customer service all around! Very attentive and they were super quick! Overall the best dining experience I've had in a while!

We had THE BEST time here!! Chrissy was a great server, the food was delicious, and they had our party of 10 taken care of quickly!

Very busy Waffle House on kings highway. We got seated right away our server was a nice southern lady who was quick to bring our food out. We can see from where we were sitting that this was a busy kitchen but can be kept bit more clean and neat. read more

A great meal this morning at Waffle House. Much better COVID than last time with plexiglass partitions hanging from the ceilings to separate the tables and better separation of the counter seats. Of course, all of the crew were wearing their masks and customers were expected to wear them as well. No condiments on the table, request only. And after someone else left, I saw the ketchup bottle wiped down. Mrs. K. got her waffle and grits this morning and enjoyed them both. Cooked properly with a fluffy center and crispy brown exterior. The grits were salty and hot and firm. Perfect. Me, I had eggs and hash browns. I finally remembered to get the chili on the hash browns and it was delicious. I'm on vacation, so no keto diet this weekend and I'll know about it for the next week or so with weight loss on hold. But that's okay. It was a great breakfast and I enjoyed it. Very good service and coffee refills kept coming. A very pleasant meal. [Review 14318 overall, 1642 of 2020, number 697 in South Carolina.] read more

I've always enjoyed Waffle House breakfasts and this morning was no exception. It was good as usual. However the server, Rachel, made my dining experience remarkable. Rachel was warm and friendly. I felt like I had known her for a long time and we were reconnecting. Waffle House has consistently brought me good food and good company every time I go. read more

Crazy Busy ! I was here back in September on vacation and just remembered I forgot to do my review . I live in Las Vegas , so no Waffle House there , so this is a treat for me whenever I visit the Carolinas . I went to another location first and there were people out the door . I came to this one and almost the same , but I did get to wait inside and have a seat . I was by myself and finally got a spot at the counter with another Veteran and we both kind of cleaned up our spot since the ladies were sooo busy . The food was good as always , but I was surprised that this location doesn't give a Veteran's Discount . I only spent $11 , so the discount would have only been like a dollar . No big deal because I was there for the food , not the discount . I got the All Star Special with Grits , Eggs , Waffle , Ham , Toast , and Coffee . All good and I only waited a few minutes for the food even though they were busy . It did take a little for the both of us to order though . They had lots of staff , but it was just overwhelming . You know us Southern Folks love our breakfast ! read more

Iza was a fantastic waitress so funny! And quite nice to my weirdo friends thank you so much Iza!!

The waiters were amazing, the food was super good, and everyone in there was happy and cheery. The atmosphere was also very homely

You know what it is when you come to Waffle House. If you don't, you probably shouldn't be up in there. I made my pilgrimage with the fam-in-law as I always do when I venture to the dirty south. Pecan waffle was on point. Eggs were cheesy and pretty good with a dab of salt n pep. Bacon was crispy and delicious. They're a well oiled machine up in here and the prices can't be beat. read more

The food was really good and the service was even better! We stepped off the plane after a long coast-to-coast flight and stopped at the Waffle House because none of us had been before and it seems iconic for this area. Being from NYC we don't have a Waffle House (not that I'm aware of any ) but it was such a pleasant experience. The establishment was small but clean and they were pretty quick in service, especially in the morning. It's a breakfast chain mostly found south of I-95. The customer service were pleasant, welcoming and friendly. While we did wait the Manager Virginia asked if we wanted coffee from the coffee la carte. Our server Monika was extremely pleasant, welcoming and patient. The food was fresh and good. Great service and good food. read more

Service is all the way 5 star!!! Quintina was the best at serving me 2 nights straight. We came in she was so nice and friendly and went out of her way to make sure our visit was pleasant, & food prepped correctly on both visits. The 1st night the place was FILTHY!!! She did advise they had a huge rush & couldn't clean up, but they need bussers for strictly cleaning purposes. The 2night the place was spotless. I'd definitely go back and pray Quintina was there. read more

For all the hype I've heard about these places I decided to try. I'm not sure if this location is just bad, but it Ruined this brand enough for me where I will not look at a Waffle House for food for at the very least a year or two. The waffles were dense okay, however I like a crisp when I bite down rather than a chewy mushy floppy pancake style waffle. My wife and I tried pecan waffles . They were..blahbland. No flavor, bad service, over priced and then overcharged. No Bueno. read more

So... I'm going to keep this short and sweet. Service was the best I've seen while down here. The food was so good that our party of 7 all wanted to come back the next day and we did. There was so much trash on the floor, but the food was so good we forgot about it. SMH I don't know how that happened but it did. Ask for Sylvia she was our server. Would've had 5 stars but they should clean some more. Thank god we didn't see roaches but they may be there. read more

Food was fast, fresh and good. Small place so if you go at wrong time may have to wait 15 minutes

The husband and wife chef/server team were fun and interactive. The food was as expected--delicious.

Excellent service! Excellent food! Excellent staff! Even though they were short staff because of the pandemic, the staff still did their thing with a smile on their faces! Plus it was an all female staff! My boyfriend and I will definitely go back for breakfast for the rest of our stay in Myrtle Beach! read more

On our visit, we were starting our vacation off & had just arrived in town at 4 am, so what better place to go that's open than Waffle House? (None, because on off season weekdays, Myrtle is a ghost town between the hours of 10pm and 6am!) I have eaten at plenty of different Waffle Houses, but this has been the only one that hasn't upset my stomach. the food is so fresh and hot! I was super impressed. The grill cook knows what he is doing for SURE! The employees were very sweet too. I did encounter one issue that I think everyone eating here should be vigilant about... Make sure they're charging you the right price for the items you order. Our food seemed to cost about $3-4 more than we originally thought it would be, and I even went over it in my head several times. Maybe it was just me, or maybe it was an employee wanting an extra tip- who knows. We just brushed it off and went on about our day. I just wanted to add that in there to make sure other people watch out too! read more

Food was good the second time around service by one of the servers was very unprofessional we asked her to clear the area so we could sit down she told us we had to wait until she got a minute because she didn't want to get up the previous customers food off the floor she told the African American male to sweep up the floor because she wasn't doing so I tip him instead poor thanks Mel for allowing me to tip the real mvp read more

The food here was good. We went at 4 am while waiting on the hotel to let us check in. The service was decent. I was disappointed that they didn't have any gravy for my gravy biscuits and they asked if I wanted anything else instead and I told them and they still brought out the plain biscuits as well as the substitute and charged me extra for all of it. I thought my bill was too high for the food I ordered especially since they didn't have something I wanted to eat. If you want somewhere to eat at 4 am this is a decent option, just make sure you check the bill price versus what you picked to eat because they may over charge you for your meal. read more

We are flight attendants for a major airline and decided to stop to this Waffle House because it was close (one of the crew referred us here) The food was delicious and Megan was excellent!!! (She kept the flow of the restaurant under a smooth, but firm direction. She was very motivating that even if the staff made a mistake she was Supportive in giving them feedback, the dances with them to the music that was on also. This is how it should be run! Our airlines would clearly take her as an employee. read more

Basic breakfast for a reasonable price. In 1955, two Georgia neighbors opened a 24 hour sit-down restaurant that has now expanded to over 1900 locations in 25 state. This no frills breakfast eatery offers a limited menu of eggs, waffles, pancakes, hash brown, bacon, sausage, grits and breakfast bowls. Counter side booths offer a simple approach of friendly service straight from the grill to you. Three crispy strips of bacon, four halves of thick, buttery toast, couple scrambled eggs (my choice) and fried hash browns was to my liking. And easy on the wallet. #morselbliss read more

It's a Waffle House. They're all the same. It's just southern style greasy spoon on a chain level. If you've never been and were expecting fancy fine dining then you might be annoyed. It's a diner - of the southern variety. It's good for plain ol food 24/7/365 with a crew that's accustomed to however you happen to present yourself here. If you happen to be a northerner, try some grits. read more

In Myrtle beech for the Memorial Day Weekend. We wanted a good breakfast and my friend suggested this place. It was very busy, but we were seated quickly. I had steak and eggs. I wish the steak would have been grilled more. It kind of looked boiled. My friend ordered a burger and a waffle on the side. When she received her order she was given a hamburger patty on a plate. She was not impressed. They took it back and put it between dry buns. It was not very good. The waffle was not nice and brown. It looked a little raw still, but after smothering it in butter and syrup, I guess you can't tell. I wasn't impressed enough to return. read more

We LOVE Waffle House but this was horrible! We checked in at the desk gave our order and requested dine in service. We were told it would be 5-10 min. No problem. 30 min later after 2 parties that arrived after we did were seated we got the call that our table was ready. Only there was no table our food was ready to go...WTF?? We didn't cause a scene took the food and went back to car Not one thing we ordered was correct.,scrambled eggs not fried no bacon, hashbrowns not right. They are fast, friendly and the food is great in the morning! But the night crew is the reason why they lost a start. They are slow and not friendly at all! We got here at 3am so therefore it was not busy at all but yet it took them 20mins for someone to take our order! In fact I had to ask for someone to our order. They were all walking around looking like a chicken with its head cut off. read more
