First I want to say that our server Stephanie Fox was outstanding! She was very sweet and very helpful! HOWEVER there was an Asian man who checked us out that needs some training. When my husband and I arrived at Dennys there was a sign on the front door that said, if you sign up for our app, you will get a free dessert. I was already signed up for the app so that should be no problem. After our dinner and then received the "free " dessert i was told by this man that he couldn't find me in the system or in my app where I was to receive a free dessert. So even though Stephanie told him to go ahead and give them their free dessert, he chose to offer the ten percent off locals discount. That was barely half of the price of the "free "dessert. In addition to that, we are already locals. So there should have been a 10% discount on the entire price AND a free dessert. So I would suggest, don't put a sign on your front door that says free dessert with the app downloaded. Unless you plan to follow through. I would have given five stars if it weren't for that. read more

Totally forgettable really. Got a basic grand slam and it took quite a while, even though it wasn't at all busy. Besides the fact that Denny's is now crazy overpriced for what you get, I was definitely bothered by the fact the sausages were cold. Pancakes however, were good and hot. We went to Denny's for breakfast. They were busy but they seated us right away. The waitress brought us menu's and took our drink order while we decided what we wanted. My husband had eggs, sausage links and pancakes and coke to drink. I had two fried eggs, crispy bacon, toast and a sweet cream cold brew to drink. We didn't have to wait long for our food. Everything was hot and just the way we ordered it. The food was good as always. Waitress took good care of us. We will definitely eat here again when we come back to the beach. read more

Plant Based Slam is delicious!! Ate lunch here with a large group of vegan friends, selected because they have a vegan option. We all had the plant based slam with the vegan Hearty 9-grain pancakes. It came with potatoes and fruit. All we did was ask that the grill use oil and not bacon or butter. We brought our own margarine and plant based creamer for the coffee. It was DELICIOUS. We went in with a party of 6+ baby. 3 grand slams, a burger, kids mac n cheese and choco banana pancakes. Half the order came out (pancakes) NO SYRUP. 2 of the 3 grand slams the eggs were cooked incorrectly. The hashbrowns for the 3rd grand slam NEVER showed up. And my grandsons choco banana pancakes NEVER showed up. After bringing it to the supervisor, we got some syrup. Of course the pancakes, by then, were as cold as the eggs and sausage were when they initially arrived. The wife and I went there for breakfast and we both ordered off the 55+ menu. As I recall my breakfast included 2 strips of bacon, 2 sausage links, 2 eggs and 2 pancakes. The bacon was the consistency and taste of microwaved bacon, and the sausage was just terrible. The pancakes were average, and a small pot of coffee was left on the table which we appreciated. I am not a fan of Denny's breakfast, but we do have one major draw: As AARP members, we get 15% off the bill. The server was friendly, and the overall service was acceptable. SERVICE SUCKS! We came in on a Saturday before going to medieval times, and the service was absolutely terrible! 3 adults 3 children (nothing too crazy) and we had missing everything, super long wait, and some food wasn't prepared too well. HOWEVER, the reason for the 3 stars is for MY food being great. I don't know if i was just hungry, but my waffle was amazing as hell, lol The up charge of $2 for fruit on my waffle wasn't worth it but my plate was still amazing. Just DON'T go! While the food was typical Denny's food, there wasn't any air conditioning at all. No circulation either since we were seated in a back corner booth. In 90 + heat, the dining experience was unbearable. The waiter was mediocre. He jokingly insulted our whole family. I asked for milk to go with my coffee and he threw a handful of half n half mini containers in front of me. Pretty disappointing experience! read more
