We were in MB for a week and I was craving Gyros. This place looked so amazing and we were able to get it doordashed to our resort. The gyro was absolutely amazing. Everything was very fresh!!! It was a nice size gyro which is always great! The fries were seasoned perfectly! Highly recommend

So glad I made it to Fast Greek before leaving Myrtle Beach. It is a good size spot in a strip mall. Upon walking in there is a counter to order food and to the left tons of tables and places to sit in and eat. I didn't realize they were closing at 8pm and I got there about 15 minutes before that time. Still the lady behind he counter greeted me warmly and handed me a menu. I couldn't decide what I wanted, so I am so glad that they had a "make your own bowl" option. For my base I got a mix of greens and to top it I got feta, quinoa salad, olives, onions, hummus, and falafel. They give you a great amount of food and it is so fresh and good! It does not come cheap as my bowl ran me about $16. It does not come with Pita bread or another type of bread. Other feedback the onions were raw and had no flavoring; also the bowl did not come with a sauce or something to add. So the ingredients were a little dry, but still good. I minused one star for this and the price. I would return, but probably for a wrap and I would ask for the onions to be grilled.

Fantastic Greek food in a location at the Publix shopping center. The restaurant isn't anything fancy but it definitely nice. I showed up fairly early so it was quite but it looked like the had quite a few take out orders ready. The lady who took my order was friendly and brought my food to the table quickly. I had the Classic Gyro which is made with lamb and beef. It was absolutely delicious. The tzatziki sauce was plentiful on the gyro and it was filled with crisp lettuce and juicy tomatoes. Definitely a good restaurant to check out for Greek food.

Delicious, fresh, healthy and oh so yummy! The serving feeds 2 to 3 people. My daughter (16yo) and shared the 1 salad Ans there was still leftover. I was impressed!

This was the make your own bowl. You choose the base, the sauce, and the toppings. I added chicken skewers as a protein add on.

The customer service was not great, and the atmosphere was dull. But the food was decent.

The food is fresh, but very bland with missing staple ingredients. The Tzatziki sauce had no flavor at all.

The pita was fluffy and that added touch of being warmed took it to a new level. The gyro slices were plentiful and seriously the best I've had. The sauce hands down devine! My sister ordered a side of potato salad that was off the chain too. Service was quick and the place is cozy. One of the ladies I was with ordered a dinner to go and they separated everything so she could warm up the pita when home later and didn't mix the toppings. This was so appreciated. If this place is a bit out of the way - drive there. You won't be disappointed.

I was lucky enough to go to Crete , Greece 4 times while in the military in the late 80's. I still haven't found that replacement , but I've come pretty close a couple times. The Chicken Kabob here was really good , thick flavorful pieces that were seasoned well on a wooden skewer. I would recommend getting these. The Beef and Lamb Gyro was large and full of meat , veggies , and sauce. The meat was decent , but I wasn't impressed by it. The sauce also was mid , could be thicker and more flavor. I got a sample of the Roasted Potatoes and I would recommend them. The Rice looked good , but I didn't try it. They have some desserts too. The Carrot Cake and Chocolate Cake were monsters ! If my son was here with me in Myrtle Beach I definitely would've gotten both. I think for most people they would be happy to have lunch or dinner here. $13.00 for a Gyro and $7.00 for a Chicken Kabob.

I highly recommend the beet salad, and the evening special was bifteki, which was fantastic. The Greek potatoes were absolutely amazing as well--honestly, there wasn't a bad thing on the menu. They also have a great selection of wines to go perfectly with the food. This is definitely more of a fine-dining experience, but it is well worth checking out when you're in the mood for authentic Greek cuisine. Great food, lovely atmosphere, and an all-around brilliant evening. We will definitely be back. Three thumbs up and five stars from us!

In general, the food was good and the staff was friendly. During my two-day visit I had two meals there. Tried the Grilled Tiger Prawns, Soutzoukakia, Beet Salad, Maroulsalata, Pastichio and Spanakorizo. 1. The tiger prawns came with four pieces. Tasted fresh but a bit too salty for me. 2. Soutzoukakia was basically lamb and beef meatballs. Compared to Kofta in Middle Eastern cuisine, these had more flavors from meat but less from other ingredients. Served over tomato sauce. 3. Beet salad had generous amount of beets, but the arugula tasted just-out-of-fridge; it was very cold and crispy, lacking the flavor of fresh arugula. 4. Maroulsalata was a salad with chopped (green) romaine, green onions, dill, crumbled feta and lemon+EVOO dressing. A light dish perfect for pairing with their meats or (heavy) pastas. 5. Pastichio, the Greek style Lasagna, is a classical. It was my first time to try it and it tasted fantastic. It was an ~4 inch square piece of layers of hollow pasta topped with ground beef, a thick layer of bechamel, and topped with graviera cheese. Unlike meat sauce, the ground beef was "dry", but this was OKay because the bechamel would smoothen everything. In general rich in flavor and creamy and definitely filling. 6. Spanakorizo was like risotto or porridge but perhaps had even more liquid. It had Arborio rice, spinach, herbs and Kefalograviera cheese. The staff were friendly. They recognized me when I had my second meal there, answered my questions about the menu patiently, and explained to me about their tips (I will discuss this below). The dishes were served in reasonable time. The vibe was definitely at the higher end among the restaurants in Myrtle Beach; plus it was not crowded at all. Despite the good food, you should be careful about the tip. Their suggested tip percentages are calculated based on the taxed price; e.g. if you select the suggested 18% you are actually tipping more than that.

Now while vacationing in NC, I expected to find some damn fine barbecue, which I did two doors down from Meet the Greek at Heritage BBQ. But a place the serves solid Greek food, like lamb & beef gyro meat shaved off a spit!!! No way!! Friends let me tell you, most happily, I was wrong!!! Meet the Greek delivers fresh, hot, tasty Greek food in belly filling quantities!! I went with two friends and I ordered a large beef lamb gyro, a 4 piece order of Dolmas, stuffed grape leaves, and of course some Baklava for dessert. The gyro was massive, freshly cut lamb & beef with red onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and a generous helping of fresh herbaceous Tzatziki sauce!! To say it hit the spot would be an understatement!! The Dolmas were also very fresh with perfect seasoned rice that has just been the right touch of mint. How one can feel so full yet pleased that it also felt like a healthy meal!! The Baklava, a dessert, paper thin filo pastry layered with chopped nuts and honey, even felt on the healthier side of things as I licked the sweet honey from my fingers and considered all the other carnival sweets I indulged in whilst on my beech vacation!! My one friend got a medium gyro and barely finished it, said he wanted to stop but it tasted too good not to finish it. My other friend chose a Caesar salad, not exactly Greek but she was delighted to find the Caesar dressing so fresh, cheesy, and creamy! Meet the Greek also offers not only a Greek Salad but an even more traditional Horiatiki or Village Salad featuring briny Kalamata Olives. This would have been the one for me had I not been so stuffed from my gyro & grape leaves! The restaurant itself is not large but is very clean with a nautical Greek village decor that only enhances your dining experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. If you are new to Greek food or just looking for something different from beach vacation fare, I highly suggest you take the short ride and take a bite of some excellent and generously portioned Greek Treats!!!
