    Risen N Shine Burger

The restaurant was clean with many ways to customize your burger/sandwich. The chicken on these sandwiches are HUGE !! Portion sizes and quality were good for the burgers and sandwiches. Just a side of onion rings were a bit on the expensive side. The onion rings were a decent size but almost $6 for about 10 onion rings I think is a little excessive. a combo comes out to be around $15 depending on what you get, but you only get to choose from the tater portion on the menu not the actual sides portion. the burger itself is a decent price considering whats around in myrtle beach (around $11/12) then adding the taters & a drink for $5.

What I couldn't finish! Dos that even look like Roast Beef?

I walked in for the first time after seeing the Facebook video made by who I assume is the owner making a Beef and Cheddar sandwich which made me want to definitely give it a try. The service while entering was good and the look of the dining room for the style of food they were serving. One of the employees showed me a picture on the screen of the beef and cheddar sandwich which which I was excited to try and as you can see by my pictures it's definitely not what I saw on their screen. The waffle fries were nice n hot so clearly they were cooked to order but the sandwich was a whole different story. It had a burnt flavor to the sandwich and one slice of cheddar for an almost $20 combo maybe two slices of cheese would be a nice upgrade. The look and flavors of the beef prevented me from even finishing the sandwich. The restaurant was clean but the trash can needs a change. That flopping door left food all over it and the dishes were stacking up. Also, the men's room hand towel dispenser was out. Will I give it a second try? Probably not.

Omaha meatloaf with cheese, mushrooms, grilled onions and fried onions on Texas toast.

I "saddled on up" to Chuck Wagon, an American comfort food restaurant. Offers eat in, takeout and delivery. Delicious food and a lot to choose from. I made a to-go order of Omaha meatloaf with cheese, mushrooms, and grilled onions on Texas toast. I added on fried onions. This dish is listed under their "UDDER SANDWICHES". Excellent, quick service! This self-appointed cowgirl "udderly" loved the chow. Every bite is so good. Their interior is casual and comfortable. Great for families, kids and solo diners. https://chuckwagononline.com

HIDDEN GEM. We had no idea this place was back here but the burger and fries were amazing! We also got the cheese bites which I wasn't a fan of but they were alright. Everyone was very friendly and the interior of the restaurant is so cute! Definitely check it out:)

Best burgers we've had in in quite a while. Service is very attentive. Sat outside in covered eating area. Quite nice. They play western movies on screens. For desert apple pie egg rolls that resemble McDonald's fried apple pies. Delicious.

We ordered coffee, an omelet, and a scrambled egg sandwich. One of the things that attracted us was the restaurant's claim of being a scratch kitchen that uses premium ingredients. Unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to those expectations. The coffee was disappointing--watery and weak. We were told they grind their own dark roast beans, which led me to expect an excellent cup of coffee. However, if too little coffee is used when brewing the pot, even great beans produce weak coffee. That was definitely the case here. At $4.00 per cup, I expect a quality cup of coffee, and this one simply wasn't worth the price or frankly, any price. The omelet was ordered with bacon and caramelized onions. We specifically asked our server to make sure the onions were well caramelized, but they were not. Even more noticeable was the amount of bacon. It completely overwhelmed the dish--it felt more like bacon with a little egg than an omelet. Finally, the scrambled eggs on the sandwich weren't really scrambled at all. They were cooked as one solid sheet, more like a thin omelet. For a restaurant that specializes in breakfast, brunch, and lunch, consistently preparing eggs should be one of its strengths. I truly hope whoever oversees the kitchen takes these comments in the constructive spirit they're intended. The restaurant has a great concept and quality ingredients, but paying closer attention to execution and consistency would make a significant difference. I'd be happy to give Famous Toastery another try if these issues are addressed.

If you're looking for authentic Southern comfort food rather than another seafood buffet, Simply Southern Smokehouse is one of Myrtle Beach's best-known local favorites. The restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring a wide variety of home-style classics in a casual, family-friendly atmosphere. One of its most charming traditions is that the staff periodically break into song, creating a warm, welcoming experience that's uniquely Southern. The buffet changes daily, but during our visit it featured an impressive selection including crispy fried chicken, fried pork chops, pulled pork barbecue, smoked chicken legs, collard greens, green beans, cornbread, banana pudding, soft-serve ice cream, and peach cobbler. The fried chicken was outstanding--crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside--and the pulled pork was tender and flavorful. Personally, I tend to prefer barbecue with a deeper, smokier profile, so while I enjoyed the pulled pork, this is better described as a traditional Southern buffet than a destination for smoked barbecue. The homemade desserts, especially the peach cobbler, provided the perfect ending to the meal. The value is exceptional, especially considering the variety and quality of the food. The staff was genuinely friendly, and the singing added a fun, memorable touch that made the restaurant feel more like a community gathering than just another buffet. I also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of complimentary pocket New Testament Bibles available for guests near the entrance. If you're visiting Myrtle Beach and want to experience classic Southern cooking at a reasonable price, Simply Southern Smokehouse is well worth a visit. Come hungry, expect hearty comfort food rather than competition-style barbecue, and you'll likely leave satisfied.

When our ice cream order was ready, our order number was called, we walked over to pick up & bring back to our table. My kids love the strawberry cheesecake one, the cookie one, and the mint one. My wife and I decided to try something new on this stop. She has gone non-dairy so she got the açaí and oat, which was a nice açaí bowl like dessert option. She really enjoyed it. I got the turtle waffle. They make liege waffles (never noticed that before!) and this one was topped with brownie batter ice cream, brownie bites, chocolate covered pretzels, whipped cream, and caramel. Absolutely scrumptious. Look, it's pricy here, but they do a great job and it's something that everyone will get a kick out of. We do crazy mason about 1-2 times a year and that's enough for us probably. If you haven't been, it's worth bringing the family when everyone has saved a lot of room for dessert.
