Walking in, I got Cookout meets Steak and Shake meets Sonics vibes. We stopped here for a quick bite during a work lunch. The inside seemed very old school but lots of places to sit and eat. Service was fast and friendly The food was pretty good too. A big variety of different foods to choose from. French fries reminded me of the kind you get at a concession stand sports event. All in all, I was happy with our choice. Would eat here again for a quick bite. read more

The drive thru needs to be upgraded where you aren't in line forever. When they have to send somebody out the back door to take orders is absurd. If the food wasn't good & I wasn't hungry I would've just left. read more

5 out of 5 stars! If you're looking for the best drive-thru burgers in town, look no further! I had the King Combo, and let me tell you, it was fit for royalty. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and stacked high with all the good stuff. Every bite was a delicious reminder of why this place reigns supreme! My spouse ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger, and WOW--amazing doesn't even begin to cover it. Crispy bacon, melty cheese, and the juiciest patty around. The pics don't do justice to the mouthwatering deliciousness we experienced. We left feeling like burger royalty. Don't miss this spot if you're craving a burger feast! read more

Ok the prices a little higher but my burger was hitting on everything so jucy and good beef flovor

Lots of options. Veggie and turkey burgers are soooo goooood! Just make sure you got everything you ordered before leaving and they take longer than a standard drive thru which is fine if you anticipate that especially when the food taste fresh. read more

Pretty tasty food can't complain. I would recommend this place. The food is definitely more tasty then some of the big chain fast food companies read more

A simple, but quality burger is an elusive creature in Conway. Most of the downtown restaurant have burgers that are more about the toppings, but these are coverups for otherwise tasteless beef patties with little to no seasoning. But California Burger is that mythically delicious burger so rare in Conway! The star of the show with this burger isn't avocados, jalapeños, artisanal buns, or special sauces, but the meat. Tender, juicy, and well seasoned, this simple burger satisfies our deep, primal urge for a burger that stands on its on without the fluff. The staff members were kind as they delivered this Holy Grail of burgers, and the seating area was clean yet simple, again highlighting that the purpose of a burger restaurant is simply to make a good burger. While there a good burgers across the river, I'm glad that my journey will be shorter to find a fitting burger. Kudos to California Burger! And well done! read more

Burgers? Great. Ambiance and service? Atrocious. Why should we have to wait a full 5 minutes after walking in to be acknowledged ("Be right with you") or another 5 just to get some ketchup? Service is severely lacking. Thankfully, the burgers we had were delicious. We got a double bacon burger and the burger with onion rings on it. Not dining in again! read more

California Burger is a great burger, I had the Avocado burger with cheese and the wife had a cheese burger both were cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend this place, very pleasant staff. read more

First time going here. Recently opened with lots of have been raving about this place. We got the avocado burger, veggie burger, fries, fried okra, fries and a cup of vanilla/chocolate swirl soft ice cream. Everything was delicious. Honorable mention goes to the veggie burger. My wife loves it. She is a vegetarian but is picky with her veggie burgers. She only likes Impossible Burgers until now. Got to ding them on their use of styrofoam containers. read more

I've been here twice and I really like the food. Their shakes are the best I've had in a while. The curly fries are quite good. Even their regular crinkle-cut fries are served hot and seasoned well. My complaint is that it's a bit expensive for a burger joint. Maybe this should apply to burger joints in general, but there are still a few places where you can feed 3 people for a reasonable price. This isn't one of them, unfortunately. read more

Great food, drive thru is convenient. We ordered 2 of the avocado burgers. We had to wait a while inline because I think they cook them after you order them. Our two burgers with no mayo were around $20 bucks . They were very good and in my opinion kind of pricey. Probably normal price near the beach. read more

This place has the smallest chicken I have ever seen do not come to this place if you want you a good platter their thighs and legs are literally just bone I got me a platter just to return it immediately the atmosphere sucks the place is super old and the customer service is absolutely the worst I have ever seen do not come to this place I'm telling you do not come read more

One of the best burger with fresh slices of tomato, lettuce, and red onion I have had in a long time! The chicken cheesesteak had huge portion of chicken and flavorful with toasted bun! The fries and curly fries were hott with right amount of salt and seasoning! Also praise the service! The girl that was at the window had patience with my wife changing her order and informed us that some items had Mayo or sauce that wasn't listed. She was well informed of the menu items and repeated the items back. Definitely will be back! read more

I want to start of by saying I do like the food here. Been going here since they opened. Today I went and they have changed the menu to all combos (used to get a chicken basket for $7.99 now combo is $10.99). That being said my granddaughters wanted a milk shake and not a soda. I could not upcharge their drinks because their system won't allow it so I had to pay for 2 combos and two milkshakes. Doesn't seem fair. read more

I walked into California Burger without any presumptions. I was happy to see a new concept in the area but I know how some of these places can be. I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. From the pictures it seemed like they were going for an In-n-Out kinda deal. The burgers seemed fresh and well put together in the pictures and they definitely did not disappoint. Food served as advertised. The fries were crinkle cut which at first glance seem like an after thought but they were crunchy on the outside, meaty in the inside and extremely well seasoned similar to Bojangles fries. It'd be nice if they had some kind of add on bar with pickled peppers and special sauces and so forth but as is they are definitely hitting a home run. Burger a very well earned 8.5 out of 10 and fries 8 out of 10. Service was pleasant and prompt. Easily top 3 best burgers on the beach. Long Live California Burger!!! read more
