Wow! Great burgers and fries! Today was the first time we went to take a bite, and it definitely won't be the last! We will have a picture on that "Wall of regulars." My husband and I both had the black and blue burger, and it was absolutely delicious. What a huge burger, huge bun and very generous with the blue cheese and bacon. The burgers were seared and cooked to perfection. Liz, Who took our order, was delightful, making the overall experience even better. I highly recommend Take A Bite if you love really, really good burgers.

Mushroom Swiss burger and onion rings
    Joelle C.

Stopped in to grab some lunch while in Conway for an appointment. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and it was easily one of the best burgers I have had since living down here. Cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I'm a sucker for onion rings so had to get an order. They were on the greasy side and by greasy side, there were a couple I bit into and it had cooking oil in it. The hubs got the Philly fry box and really enjoyed it. He said he probably wouldn't get it again only because it was too much food for him. Definitely something worth splitting between 2-3 people. Great service and very clean establishment. Will definitely be back.

Food was delicious. We wanted a burger and it was great. Patty was almost as big as dinner plate. Food was hot and made to order. Deserts did not disappoint either. I would definitely go back again.

    SO GOOD

Best burger in the world great customer service!!!! taste fresh and made in real time, the burger is perfect and the onion rings are the best I've ever had. Crisp and taste unreal!

Waited 50 minutes for 1 buger & a turkey/cheese sandwich. Tasted great, but don't have time for it.

Ask the Community - Take a Bite

    Is it sit down service?

You order at the counter and then they bring it to your seat when it is ready

Do they serve beer or wine ? If not , Is this a BYOB?

Only thing negative is they don't have any beer/wine😢

The place is comfy, without being oversized. The staff is upbeat and very pleasant. We arrived for a late lunch, early dinner. No I do not remember our Server's name, but I'm sure that is my fault for not concentrating when she told us. But I do remember she was a tall thin build lady, with very dark long hair. (Hope this helps). She understands service, and how to take care of her customers in the extreme heat. As she approached our table, she already had two glasses of ice water. . We placed our drink order. Now remember this place is a Brewery and Pub. So they did not carry a full line bar. But they have all of the basics. So the wife got her Rum with Pineapple. And I had their Citra Ass Down IPA. Both were tasty. The beer had a mild citrus flavor but not overwhelming. While perusing the menu, the wife saw they had a fresh pretzel, and she was sold. Something about a hot salted pretzel that just makes her happy. It came with a beer cheese dip, and a mustard dip. Do yourself a favor. Ask for a second mustard dip. That stuff is addictive. For our main course, she had the wings. BBQ sauces with Ranch. I had the Chicken Shrimp Po Boy with their in-house chips. We would order both again. The wings were large, juicy, and had the right amount of sauce. I would say closer to a glaze on them. My Po Boy was full of well seasoned meat. And had very fresh greens on it. And a nice sauce the complimented, the meat. It didn't cover or overpower. In addition, I am not a toasted roll person. Our Server let the Chef know, and they did not toast my bread. (You'd be surprised how many times I have asked that my bread not be toasted. And how many get it wrong) And to top a really good experience, the owner (a Marine) came out and talked with us for a few minutes. We aren't special. Just a couple of middle aged semi-retired dog lovers. But he took the time to come out and have a conversation. Not just check on his people or business. If you are at Broadway At The Beach, and want something non chain and different. Give this place a try. We will be returning.

The staff were super friendly with great meal recommendations. The young lady who took our drink order and our waitress recommended the Crafty Quesadilla - Shredded cheese with sauteed peppers and onions, served with lettuce and tomato garnish salsa and sour cream. You can have it just like that or customize with- Grilled Chicken, Shaved Steak, Grilled Shrimp, Bacon, Lobster, Ground Cab Beef, Plant Based Patty, Fresh Jalapenos, Sauteed Mushrooms, Black Olives, and Tomatoes. I added chicken. It was very tasty with a balanced amount of chicken and vegetables. My husband had the Conway Burger. Local favorite! Bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion, with pepper jack cheese. We had fried pickles for a starter and he added some of them to the burger. It was a nice big burger. Cannot wait to go back and try their Rivertown Mac. Conway is a beautiful town perfect for strolling on a lovely day. Picked up a jar of local honey from Mountain Man Honey & Goods. Lot of great local spreads without refined sugars.

Helen and I discovered it while scouting out local spots, and its location couldn't be better--just steps from the scenic Conway Riverwalk, surrounded by charming shops and historic buildings. Even the street parking (easy parallel with a two-hour window) felt like part of the laid-back, small-town experience. From the moment we walked in, the vibe hit just right: cozy, welcoming, and full of locals who clearly know a good thing when they see it. The staff made us feel right at home--friendly, attentive, and happy to help us navigate the menu. We kicked things off with the cold lobster dip, and let me tell you--this isn't your average appetizer. Imagine a creamy lobster roll transformed into a rich, indulgent dip, packed with chunks of lobster and served with warm pita points. It was the kind of dish you don't want to share... but have to. Helen went for the Reuben--perfectly stacked with shaved corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and house-made Thousand Island, all grilled on black rye. I opted for the seafood platter with fish and shrimp, cooked to perfection. The fries were hand-cut, the seafood was fresh and flavorful, and while the jalapeño dill slaw had a bit more kick than I expected, the rest of the plate absolutely delivered. As we soaked in the atmosphere, we spotted a plate of loaded Brussels sprouts heading to another table--crispy, golden, tossed in garlic parmesan sauce, and topped with bacon and shredded parmesan. Safe to say, that's already on our must-try list for next time. And so is their "Everything but the Hen" wrap--a hearty combo of shaved steak, grilled shrimp, bacon, fresh veggies, provolone, and horseradish mayo wrapped up in a soft tortilla. Yes, it sounds as good as it looks. The best part? After a couple of beers, a full seafood platter, a loaded Reuben, and that incredible lobster dip, our total was still under $50--even with tip and tax. Great food, great prices, and a relaxed, local vibe--The Crafty Rooster Bar and Grill has officially earned a spot on our regular rotation. We'll definitely be back for more.
