I had been seeing lots of great reviews, so I decided to check it out for myself. The atmosphere is cool and updated, and very clean. I had the cheesesteak fry box which consisted of French fries on the bottom which were cooked perfectly, covered with sautéed beef, onions, mushrooms, jalapeños, and melted cheese. Then topped with a delicious special sauce which added a little kick. It was over the top fantastic! Everything is super fresh and cooked to order, and their menu is refreshingly unique. The staff was efficient and super friendly. They also get bonus points in my book for not having a single piece of styrofoam in the restaurant. My wife and I were looking for cheese steak subs, similar to what we could find in central Maryland. We have tried several places in this area and none came close. Then the wife found this place. Take a Bite was a sandwich shop previously, under another owner and name. It was OK , but nothing worth going back for. This location has improved 10 fold. The inside and clean and the staff is friendly. We ordered a steak and cheese with LTM, fried onions and mushroom. They hit it right on. Large quantity of meat, seasoned very well and lots of toppings. My wife ordered a burger, medium, with cheese and ketchup. And we got a large fry to share. The food was hot and plentiful. With lots of flavor and not salty. One of the things I really dislike about a lot of the food in this area is that it is salty. This meal had actual flavors other than just salt. We have been back since our original stop, and the food was just as good. We have decided we can only have this type of food, once every couple of months. But man we like it read more

I highly recommend this place. It's not some national over hyped chain. It's a locally owned and operated hidden gem. Very convenient and easy to get to. I have lived here a long time, and wish I would have tried it sooner. I had the Philly cheesesteak, and order of fries. The cheesesteak was delicious and so were the fries. The sandwich was very fresh, and you can actually taste the cheese , unlike som other places. And the fries were natural cut , and amazing. The eat in area was clean with awesome decor. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I really have nothing to complain about. Don't pass this place up. They have a lot to offer besides cheesesteaks and fries . Stop by and give them a try. This place is awesome! Went there yesterday after hearing all the positive buzz. Was not disappointed. Great sandwich and burger menu. Plan on returning and working my way through the selections. Prices are what you would expect adjusting for the rising cost of everything but you really get what you pay for. I finished my sandwich just because I couldn't stop eating it! Wife took half of hers home. The rolls and ingredients are all fresh and outstanding. Try this place you will not be disappointed! Great burgers and fries. The burgers are smashed and cooked on a flat grill. They are delicious. We asked for crispy fries and they were perfectly cooked. They have a lot of burger options and sandwiches to choose from. They also offer Fry Boxes which is a box of fries with a burger crushed over the top along with the works (Mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle) sounds like I have to make another visit! read more

Went to Take A Bite today for lunch. Great place to grab a bite. Very clean and updated. We had a Mushroom burger and Pastrami sandwich and were very satisfied! Plenty of meat and excellent bread that was fresh. Fries are great too. Food came out very fast considering they were very busy, and hot too! Everyone there was pleasant to deal with. I think that store finally found a great tenant. It can be found in the shopping plaza with Food Lion and Singleton Ridge. Hours are 11-7 except Sun & Mon. Pricing is in line with our current situation and we'll worth the cost! read more

The food was decent yet overpriced charged me and my girlfriend more we saw by adding up what others got and asking how much it would be they were getting their meals discounted for being "nice to the owners" place has roaches in the booths yes we ate there unsurprisingly there was no entertainment just a bunch of old timers interacting I'd suggest if your not in retirement or goin to be in it then I wouldn't go there the roach on the wall in the booth killed the vibe entirely read more

Bacon cheeseburger with the works - mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle, hold the onions....the best burger I've had in a really, really long time. Onion rings were fantastic....crunchy and tasty. WAY OVERPRICED! $10.50 for a burger that does not include any sides or a drink. When you factor in a $3.75 price tag for an order of frozen french fries, your simple burger, fry and drink order can hit the $17 mark real quick which puts this place out of my sensible budget range for what I call just mediocre food. There are much better options out there for $17. You will also be prompted for a tip when you go to pay even though there has been NO added service that would deserve a tip, which in my opinion is in bad taste. The place was clean and staff was freindly however the sticker shock alone will keep you away. I doubt this place makes it for the long haul. read more
