We ordered the Spicy Marinara and Mama's Style pizza, and both were amazing! Used to be fox pizza, always stopped for take out spaghetti and meet balls. Was the best in the area. Sorry to say pizza town is not so good. Very plain sauce and 1 meatball and salad $21+ . Not going to say anything about other offerings and will not be going back. read more

I've been here quite a few times for pizza and salad. The other night my Wife wanted a burgerand I wanted a cheesesteak sub so I went online and checked the menu, I saw that they had it. I drove up there and ordered up the hamburger and my steak sub with cheese, mushrooms, pepper, and onion. I got that to go, Now me being a steak sub snob from New England. They had a lot to catch my attention and I can tell you they came through with flying colors. The flavor was amazing. The bread was soft just overall great, one of the best steak subs I found down here today. My wife ordered a hamburger. It was juicy full of flavor really big and the price was spot on, the french fries that she got were crispy, hot and fresh, by far best the we've had. Would have loved to try your pizza, HOWEVER! We walked in there were 3 people standing around with their arms crossed behind the glass counter filled with nasty looking two day old pizza slices! The crust was perfect! I also ordered a tossed salad and it was decent. Nothing amazing but good. The veggie pizza is absolutely one of the most delicious pizzas I have ever had. But the dough was undercooked and floppy, the pizza wasn't fully cut so I had to do it myself, there was a pile of grease on top of the pizza so it wasn't visibly appealing either. Called Pizza town and ordered 15 pizza's to be picked up the next day for a tailgate we were having at the Coastal Carolina at 2pm! Went in that morning when they opened up at 11am to pay and remind them of the 2pm pick up time! Low and behold I walked in a lot 1:55pm and they hadn't even started the order! I will admit they worked diligently to get the order ready! However they let me sit there for an hour without an apology or nothing! Took an hour away from my tailgate time! Stopped by Pizza Town on 544 tonight. When I was walking up, I noticed the gentleman that normally makes the pizza talking on the phone and he was scratching the side of his mouth. When it was my turn to order, I asked the girl if he was going to be the one making the pizza, and she replied yes. I asked her to ask him politely to please wash his hands because I observed him scratching his mouth. I went outside and was looking in the window and watched him walk to the back and come back up with an ice cream cone that he was eating and he walked up to the pizza prep counter and laid it down and proceeded to make my pizza. Let's face it. The bar is very low when in comes to pizza in SC. Sadly, I've had people recommend Pizza Hut, Domino's, and (trying not to gag) Papa John's as 'good pizza'! Stopped into this little spot in a strip mall on a whim and what a hidden gem of a spot! Pizza by the slice, Garlic knots, and subs to die for! EVERYTHING is on point... and the Steak Sandwiches are on a level with any you would get in the Delaware Valley (Philly) area! The owners are transplants from the S. We have been faithful customers of theirs. We ordered pizza and a cheese steak the other night paid the driver their tip. Then the driver came back to the door knocked on it and said they thought they gave us the wrong Pizza so we checked it and it was the wrong one but my wife's order was correct. They had to bring the correct Pizza back to us. We would not have known the pizza was wrong if the driver had not checked until after she had left. Went to order again tonight and told them what had happened and they had no record of the incident happening even though I told her they had to bring the pizza back and send another delivery driver out. I asked if they could discount us something off tonights order because of the whole ordeal the other night and they said no. We spend a lot of money with Pizza Town and unfortunately because of the way the girl made me feel like I was lying we will not be ordering from there anymore. The food is great but they apparently don't treat loyal customers the way they should. I will still give them a five-star rating because their food is good. read more
