We had such a great experience at Crooked Oak Tap! The vibe is really cool from the moment you walk in and you can choose between the main dining area, which is super cute and welcoming, or head to the back pub area, which has a more laid-back feel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. And the food? Fantastic. We literally cleaned our plates. The burgers were cooked perfectly to each of our requested temperatures, and the house-cut fries were absolutely delicious. They also have an excellent draft selection! We'll definitely be back!

Half of the crab cake dinner. Think of the whole order as 2x as much. Good amount!!

We were extremely pleased with our visit. Though we got there around 3:30pm or so, service was pleasant, friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the beer, crab cake dinner, and dessert! The restaurant has a rustic look to it. In the back, not advertised much is a huge beautiful bar! They have our vote for recommendations to anyone in the area!! They are a farm-to-table restaurant.

How to start off with it was a little pricey, but I would do it all again. Service at the bar was really good. Justice was very knowledgeable and patient with us. My wife got the steakhouse wedge salad with steak and she ate every bite cause it was delicious. I got the Dijon flounder sandwich and fries which again was very good. Bloody Mary was the best I've had all weekend. Did not expect $11 for the wicked Weed Freak beer, but it was tasty and different. Can't wait to come back. It was very comfortable and calm this time of day.

Stopped for lunch while checking out the city of Conway's transformation to the City of Halloween . We sat at the bar and the bartender Justice was great, we grabbed a couple burgers and a drinks . The burger was perfectly cooked I'm an old butcher and picky when it comes to meat , these were like I made them myself. The wall of whiskey/bourbon is a sight to see as well. Very comfortable seating in the bar are , there's also a main dining room and patio seats as well.

Maybe my expectations were too high for this spot. The good: beautiful scallop dishes, friendly and attentive service, perfect Creme brulee. The not so good: cosmo wasn't well chilled so I had to add ice to it, my NY Strip was tough and fatty, interior/atmosphere was underwhelming, my $10 side of mushroom peppercorn sauce tasted mostly like cream. For their prices, I expected a great steak but wouldn't be likely to return for it, maybe for the scallops. Hope we caught them on a bad night.

You guys need to put that ostrich steak on permanently. Never had it before, so tender, so delicious. A+ for new food experience.

When visiting for a family beach trip, we decided to try this beloved seafood buffet. Along the strip in Myrtle Beach, the roads are lined with a plethora of Seafood Buffets ranging from small family owned to large attraction-like restaurants. Without having tried any of the other options, I would say this has to be the best in town. The atmosphere, staff, variety of food offerings, and taste were unmatched. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique buffet experience. The exterior of this restaurant is massive and felt like a large Shopping Center with beautiful landscaping, water features, beautiful windows, and colorful siding. Upon arrival, we were asked at the door our party size. They had two entry lines based on table sizes. Since our party was four, we were sent to the shorter line and did not even have to wait to be seated. As we were walked to our table, we passed massive sailing ships complete with rows of hot and cold foods. The ceiling was reminiscent of the ocean skies. The entire restaurant felt like an experience already. I was amazed by the theming, cleanliness, and attention to details. For adults, the buffet is right around $50/person + drinks and tax. The buffet is all-you-can-eat with mutiple serving lines placed around the vast dining hall. As a picky eater, I was honestly a little worried that the offerings would primarily be seafood options; however, I was happily surprised that the buffet line had a LARGE selection ranging from Chicken Tenders and Fries to Pulled Pork and Macaroni and Cheese. I was actually very excited to find so many of my favorite foods and be able to eat just a little of them all! Some other offerings I added to my plate include hush puppies, corn on the cob, fried fish sticks, rolls, and cheddar biscuits all in one trip. My brother is more adventurous in his selection and was able to try different fish and crab legs with multiple trips. They had almost two whole buffet areas filled with seafood dishes that I didn't even visit. His favorite was just the shrimp! They also have a whole dessert room with a wide range of sweet dishes. To be honest, some of the food was mediocre or tasted similar to standard buffet-food-quality. The macaroni was a little bland. The fries were a little soggy. However, the restaurant was so busy that food was being rotated and changed out quickly on the buffet line. Overall, the entire experience was fun and unique. The restaurant was very expensive for a family of four, especially when you're not eating over the top or making multiple trips; however, the nautical theming, food selections, and service set this buffet apart from many others. You'll find something to eat whether you're picky or love the most adventurous of seafood dishes.

But this comes close and that's saying something. My wife ordered the crab cake sliders and I, the regular fish sandwich. We met the owner and his wife. They do tons of carry out (very busy while we were there)!! You place your order and pay first. Then, have a seat and wait for it to be delivered. If you need a drink refill, you need to go up to that. We went for steamed crabs only, but the rest of the food looks amazing. People I was with have eaten there before and raved about how fresh and delicious everything in the menu was. This trip was steamed crabs only. We ordered #1's for $48/dozen. We also ordered sodas. They do have beer to go with the crabs too! Didn't wait long. They were good. However, I don't think they were #1 level. At the most maybe mediums. We had several that were paper thin and no meat. They were full. Very watery and not seasoned nearly enough. We weren't expecting Maryland style crabs as we are in South Carolina, but weee hopeful they would be steamed and seasoned a little more. They do need those little food fans on the tables as the flies were annoying (we sat inside). Had to put napkins on top of our cups. The service here is lovely! Just super friendly and welcoming. Shoutout to Justin?? Might have been Nick - ugh, can't remember. Young kid, dark hair. They were so busy, and they were for sure stretched thin. He did his best and even checked on us once while also bussing tables, taking orders, sweeping, delivering food, etc. Was debating between a 3 or 4, but realized that shouldn't hold them responsible for replicating a different style of steaming crabs and seasoning them. The service and atmosphere were great. Their food in general is delicious,
