The pizza was cold and they forgot to give me my bread knots. I wouldn't go back. Waste of money for terrible food.

UNHAPPY! I put these "very specific" instructions - that I'll copy and paste. Here they are: "Hello, I'm recovering from surgery, It's a Blue house w/white privacy fence. Go through gate, proceed up patio and leave at door. THANKS!" I'm walking only with the help of a walker and retrieve it from my doorstep. I open the box and inside is just a plain cheese pizza (I had ordered a supreme that with the fees cost me close to $50.00!). Called the restaurant and spoke to Vinnie (supposedly a supervisor). NO HELP and didn't seem that sympathetic to my situation. Actually, seemed somewhat annoyed with my call. He said I could come pick up the one I ordered and he would refund the difference in price. Since I've had surgery - can't drive so again - NO HELP! He then let me know he had read my instructions. He said I could call tomorrow and ask for Vinnie, order a supreme again and only be charged for the cheese one delivered tonight. He then had the gall to tell me to order it in the afternoon around 2:00 because tomorrow night they would be slammed. I was very polite when asking for other options and he replied that this was the only thing they could do. I was nice and never once raised my voice on the call. Makes me wonder would have been treated better if I had taken the loud and angry approach? UNBELIEABLE! read more

This was the absolute worst food I've ever eaten The pizza was like cardboard. Nowhere near real NY Style Pizza. The pizza wings were heated up in the oven. Very soggy. We ordered garlic Parmesan wings. The sauce was salad dressing that was put into a plastic container. The wings were spicy hot. This review is for Ohio Valley Dicarlos pizza lovers. I have given this location great reviews in the past....not anymore. Formerly Dicarlos, this establishment still makes pizza the Ohio Valley Way by request. Do Not Order it....they have completely changed the taste, its horrible. The sauce is not the same, the pizza has way to much garlic and the crust is like card board....so sad for us Dicarlos lovers. This rating is by my husband: who is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. If you know Ohio Valley/western PA, then you will love this pizza. It's a square pizza, and you can get it with cold cheeze. Aka: they cook the dough and sauce - then add cheese to the top. He said it's very close to Beto's Pizza in Pgh. If you like this style pizza, it's one of the best to get in SC. Square pizza? Sure! We enjoyed this pizza. Had never heard of "Ohio style" pizza. We didn't get that, went with normal melted cheese kind. The crust was great. It was crispy and thicker than thin crust but not as thick as normal pan pizza. All the toppings we had were great. I'm not a big fan of the sauce but I think if I tried it a few more times I think I could get use to it. When in town you should give it a try. read more

We ordered the 16 inch Supreme pizza which only gives you 4 toppings of a very limited selection of toppings. Furthermore it took 30 minutes for the pizza to come out. What makes things worse is they keep the Resturant at 82 degrees. So you're sweating like a whore in church. Once the pizza came out the topping were very sparse. At least the mens bathroom was clean and nice and cold. I should mention our order was $42.00 (16 inch supreme pizza and 3 20oz sodas). The pizza tasted meh. I would not return to eat here so unless you plan to eat in the mens bathroom where the temperature is nice and cool, i wouldn't recommend you come here either. read more

The pizza was the best. I'm not a pizza eater normally but I'd drive back to Myrtle beach for that pizza. You need to be patient cause it's worth the wait. If you're looking for ambiance it's not that kind of place. Plain tables no ambiance but the pizza is wonderful. Tough review simply because I'm a wing and pizza pro lol Pizza crust was so thick and hard, sauce and cheese had no flavor. Really bland. Keep in mind this was a plain cheese pizza, now the wings were not fried they were baked and the skin was so slimy. No grill marks no nothing just baked and then covered in sauce. No live no effort in my opinion. I have made wings for years. If your not going to fry them, grill them then bake them so you get some kind of crisp! Atmosphere was decent but when you walked in it was 100 degrees out inside and you could barely breathe from all the smoke coming from the oven. You either love or hate it but this is my favorite pizza. Grew up with DiCarlos and it's definitely a unique style of pizza. People who haven't tried it and don't understand Ohio Valley style might be taken back at first. The pizza is baked with sauce and then pepperoni and cheese and any other toppings are added cold after the pizza comes out of the oven and left to heat from the baked pizza slices. This technique creates a unique flavor profile of all the ingredients as well as eliminates a lot of the grease/oil from the pepperoni and cheese combining with the sauce to create a flavorful taste. read more

I have NO IDEA why folks think this place is worthy of close to 5 stars...oh yea I do...it's the Subway effect. Most Americans think Subway makes a decent hoagie. They no no better. DiCarlos may be a Myrtle Beach tradition, but it shouldn't be. First, the crust. It was bowling alley style at best. How about the sauce? Straight out of a can and add some sugar. Cheese? It's a square pizza. It has cold cheese and pepperoni tossed on it after baking and it melts a bit in the box. I don't know about the other stuff they sell (salads, etc) because I don't order that stuff. No. That's not why you go there. If you are from Wheeling WV or Steubenville, OH you know what this is. This is the real deal! I've eaten this pizza for years and I'm pretty sure they are using the same suppliers for their condiments. If you aren't used it it this may seem unusual. The cheese and pepperoni isn't added until they pull the pizza out of the oven. Don't let this stop you because it is less greasy because the pepperoni isn't cooked. The staff wasn't friendly at all. But I'm pretty sure it wasn't the owners. I bought 4 full trays and spent just under $100.00. For my family it was an awesome blast from the past and delicious! read more

The pizza is delicious. The service leaves much to be desired. First, when at the register, I was given the option of melted cheese or valley style, I asked what valley style was. Instead of telling me the man says "if you don't know then you probably don't want it." Guess I'll never know. I ordered a piece for dine-in and a 16 cut to go. I was told it would be 30 minutes for the take out order. I was fine with that since I planned on eating while I waited. After 35 minutes, I finally got my eat in order. At 40 minutes I asked if they were still working on my 16 cut. The gentleman cooking very nicely answered me that they were, but the man from the register rudely replied "it takes longer." Took 55 minutes to get it. If I hadn't already paid, I'd have been gone. In the south we say "please" and "thank you" and we are gracious to people that bring us their business. read more
