Wife and I went out on a long over due date day. While walking thru Broadway At The Beach, we decided to stop and try this Brew Pub. What a great choice. The place is comfy, without being oversized. The staff is upbeat and very pleasant. We arrived for a late lunch, early dinner. No I do not remember our Server's name, but I'm sure that is my fault for not concentrating when she told us. But I do remember she was a tall thin build lady, with very dark long hair. (Hope this helps). She understands service, and how to take care of her customers in the extreme heat. As she approached our table, she already had two glasses of ice water. . We placed our drink order. Now remember this place is a Brewery and Pub. So they did not carry a full line bar. But they have all of the basics. So the wife got her Rum with Pineapple. And I had their Citra Ass Down IPA. Both were tasty. The beer had a mild citrus flavor but not overwhelming. While perusing the menu, the wife saw they had a fresh pretzel, and she was sold. Something about a hot salted pretzel that just makes her happy. It came with a beer cheese dip, and a mustard dip. Do yourself a favor. Ask for a second mustard dip. That stuff is addictive. For our main course, she had the wings. BBQ sauces with Ranch. I had the Chicken Shrimp Po Boy with their in-house chips. We would order both again. The wings were large, juicy, and had the right amount of sauce. I would say closer to a glaze on them. My Po Boy was full of well seasoned meat. And had very fresh greens on it. And a nice sauce the complimented, the meat. It didn't cover or overpower. In addition, I am not a toasted roll person. Our Server let the Chef know, and they did not toast my bread. (You'd be surprised how many times I have asked that my bread not be toasted. And how many get it wrong) And to top a really good experience, the owner (a Marine) came out and talked with us for a few minutes. We aren't special. Just a couple of middle aged semi-retired dog lovers. But he took the time to come out and have a conversation. Not just check on his people or business. If you are at Broadway At The Beach, and want something non chain and different. Give this place a try. We will be returning. read more

Came to voodoo while shopping on the Broadway! We came with a group of friends and ended up getting the chicken loaded nachos as an appetizer. I started off with a sour beer, which was fruity and light. I also got the bacon blue burger without blue cheese and the Homestyle chips. We came here because every restaurant was kinda busy. We walked in and the place was not busy. We sat down and met our waitress. We saw behind us they do a thing where it's first responder, military, or medical field that forward a drink to someone. We then ordered our food. My wife ordered the pickle pizza, fried pickles and I got the black and blue burger. The pickle pizza was ok. Nothing to write home about. The fried pickles were good. The burger was good. With bacon and blue cheese. Food was decent. The place then got busy and the service got worse. Overall a 3.5. Price was expensive as well. read more

For my meal I got the Chicky Chicky Bang Bang - for 15.99 $$ it came with tikki tenders, bang bang sauce, pickles and slaw on top of a brioche bun. I was on vacation and didn't realize Voodoo had a location in Myrtle. I had been to the one in Virginia Beach and loved it. This location was even better! Loved the space and the vibe. The Aloha Beaches beer was great and the cocktail my mom ordered was delicious. The pickle pizza was so good! Awesome staff, very welcoming and attentive. Wish they had some of the logo t-shirts that they had in Virginia Beach. I definitely would have bought some merch, didn't think the merch they sold at this location was as good. Let's start with the service. Ordering from an app is less than ideal if you have more than one check in your party. Though we all ordered within a couple minutes of one another two people in our party got their food long before the rest of us. We waited for quite awhile before getting our food. The two that got their food first were finished eating before our food even arrived at the table. The servers literally just bring your food and drinks to the table and leave and you don't even see them to pay. Everything is done on the app, so it's a very impersonal experience. The food was decent. I had the Ahi Tuna Poke Quinoa Bowl. It was okay. I am pretty sure they left off some of the ingredients, like the nori and everything seasoning. There was a scant amount of the avo aioli, which was definitely not enough for what is essentially a salad with tuna and quinoa. Thank goodness I got the bang bang sauce on the side, because I'm pretty sure that if I hadn't there wouldn't have been enough "dressing" to make it any kind of good. While I feel like prices were decent, the $13 personal sized pizza (from the adult menu) was good enough for my 10 year old, it definitely wasn't worth the money. It looked like it was made on one of those premade pizza crusts that you find in a bag at the grocery store. The restaurant itself was pretty small. It was a nice day, so the indoor walls were open to the outside. However, personally I would not choose tables with big cracks in them that you cannot clean. It was kind of gross seeing dried up pieces of food right under where your food is sitting. The bathroom also had a strange odor to it, not normal bathroom odor. My final review is that while it was not bad, it's not a place that I would choose to go to again. Oh! I almost forgot to mention one thing I did think was really neat. You can donate a drink to someone working in public service, like military, nurses, firefighters and teachers. Those who work in those areas then can claim a drink if one is available. read more

Popped in while visiting broadway at the beach. I had a sour (recommend by the bartender that said it was her favorite) and it was amazing - the Lacto-Kooler. Exceptional. Husband had the Hazy Afternooj IPA and he enjoyed as well. I went with the burger for my lunch and wow - so good. Husband has the pizza and was a bit disappointed. Said it tasted like a frozen pizza. We're down here on vacation and had lunch at this Voodoo location. Voodoo Brewing is a favorite of ours in Pittsburgh, so we figured we'd be in good hands. We were so right...we had a great experience. The service, the beers, the food, the atmosphere...all top notch. Todd, the manager/owner, checked on us a couple of times, brought us beer samples to try, and we had a terrific time talking with him and learning about his history with the MB location. Overall we liked our meal here. Some things we found interesting- not necessarily bad, just interesting. You choose your seats and then you order my scanning a QR code. No one comes to the table to see what you want. We were told you could go to the bar and order if you didn't want to do it on your phone. All of the silverware and water is self serve (pick it up inside). Our food came out in a timely manner and so did the beers. Good selection of beers. Our food came out correct, however the guy who brought the food out ended up giving my brother in law's meal to the table beside us ( guess they ordered the same thing) and when we asked about where his meal was he realized he gave it to the other table so he went over and asked if they had started eating it yet and when they said no he brought it to our table. I didn't like that. The fried pickles my kids loved. The sweet potato fries were pretty good too- had a lot of what tasted like cumin (just a guess) on them tho. Bathrooms were clean and there is cornhole and jenga blocks on the outside patio. Four of us stopped here for lunch on Sunday. The guys ordered beers which they thought were good. My girlfriend and I ordered wine since we're not beer drinkers. I initially asked for red wine but was told they were out so we both ordered white wine. We had nachos with pulled pork and shaved Brussel sprout salad which were both good. Pizza was nothing special and crust was hard and quinoa salad was disappointing-little quinoa, mostly lettuce. When we got our check we were charged $15/ea for 2 small glasses of Chardonnay and $12/ea for Sauvignon blanc! So $54 for the wine! We asked the manager if it was correct and we were told it was comparable to others and they pour 7 oz glasses which I doubt since I was told twice there was little left in the bottle. He also mentioned they had a high rent to pay. That evening we ate at an Italian fine dining restaurant and white wine was priced at $8 to $10/glass for a full glass of wine so we came away feeling robbed. So, I was at Voodoo Brewing with friends and was not a fan. I will give it two stars because everybody seemed to like how their food tasted, but there were a lot of complaints about the portions. One guy paid $16 for Bang Bang shrimp and got 10 SHRIMP total. I guess they get mostly tourists wandering in, so they don't care if they screw them. Our waitress also completely disappeared for roughly 30 minutes. Like, as far as we could tell, not in the room. No idea what happened with that. Unfortunately, karaoke kicked in while we were there which made it impossible to talk because it was so loud. That, I guess I could give them a pass for, but the language on the songs they were doing was nuts. The "n-word" and "p****" was used over and over, which would have been annoying generally, but then I looked over and they had kids in the room listening to that. I have been to worse places in my life, but wow, Voodoo Brewing Co. in not somewhere I'd ever go again, for sure. read more

My new favorite spot when I want to hang out. I love the mocktails. My dad is a fan of the beer. He is a huge burger fan, these are some of the best burgers in town! I love that it is family and pet friendly. The owner is amazing and so personable. All the staff is fantastic. They really make you feel welcomed and special.
