    Cajun chicken biscuit, not bad

As a fan of Bojangles since childhood in Virginia, I was excited to see we got here in New York, I went by and noticed that there's no actual, bone-in chicken being sold.... only biscuits, sides, and tenders. So I stuck with my favorite breakfast order, the Cajun filet biscuit combo with fries. I was pleasantly surprised by the strawberry iced tea, its delicious. The fries were crispy, and piping hot with just the right amount of seasoning. The biscuit itself was okay and the chicken filet was like a 'ghost kitchen' version of the regular restaurants.

I've never had Bojangles before, but I've heard positive things about it in the South. My initial impression is that it tastes like the kind of food you might get at Yankee Stadium. It has a very crispy, heavily seasoned flavor and texture, and my fries were noticeably soggy. The food leans salty, and I am told that the cooks salt them by hand. I can understand why Raising Cane's keeps its chicken lightly seasoned and relies more on sauces. Bojangles offers a variety of sauces as well. At this location, only chicken fingers and sandwiches are available. I expected it to be more like Popeyes, like I could have got breast, thighs, drums, etc. But it feels more like a Southern fried Nathan's Famous that cost more than it should. The service was okay. A cashier named Skyler was helpful and nice while assisting me with my selection. I know some people have had concerns about Bojangles opening in the area, but realistically it does not pose much of a threat to the nearby McDonald's or Burger King. Still, it feels a bit out of place.

Drive Thru was extremely long. Saturday afternoon. Service felt rush. Wait time was more than 15 minutes. My tender was freshly made nice and hot but I didn't enjoy my biscuits so much. Needed more butter. Everyone told me the biscuits are what they are truly know for. Inside looks brand new. And clean I didn't go inside but the view from drive thru it looks clean.

Had the Bo berry cookies. They were okay . The Cole slaw was not as good as I remember. Still no bone in chicken. What are we doing?

Okay, I'm ready to cast my vote in Brooklyn's "Roast Beef War." Roll-N-Roaster vs Brennan &…read moreCarr's. Both restaurants have been in business for well over half a century with well-deserved accolades. Despite having grown up in Brooklyn, I hadn't been to either before this year. I read reviews and actually asked ChatGPT what to order at R-N-R. We went with its suggestion: medium roast beef with cheese, onion rings, root beer and lemonade. My sandwich was more well-done than requested. They don't offer 'rare'. The few bites with red meat were infinitely better than the rest of the sandwich. The roll, as everyone points out, is baked in house. Though light and puffy, it didn't outweigh overdone beef. Onion rings were great, root beer average, and lemonade -- per my husband who loves lemonade -- excellent. While I wouldn't balk about returning, my vote goes to Brennan and Carr, though truly, when cooked as requested there is no substantial difference. If you take the train, get off at Sheepshead Bay Road and head south. Turn left at Emmons Avenue and keep walking. Twenty minutes all told.

Seems like real local classic, very nostalgic feeling - need more restaurants like this all over! -Had roast beef sandwich with grilled onions, fries (uniquely kinda made - great with cheese!!), pizza & strawberry lemonade (didn't get pics) -Was in NY for 4 days, had RNR twice lol RNR being open till 1/2am & having quite a few different options is really nice & doesn't break the bank. Restaurant is also big, plenty of seating. Great for late night grabs or afternoon lunch! Sandwich was very tasty, pizza was good, that's strawberry lemonade was delicious!!! Definitely next time I'm in Brooklyn, stopping at RNR

She is a total burst of energy who engages beautifully with both her staff and the customers. She always takes incredible care of us and goes around and ask every customer "if everything's okay". She ensures we have extra napkins to-go plates and hands out toys to my kids every trip. We hope her next steps in life take her far she is truly amazing and will be dearly missed. Aside from the stellar service, the food is always hot, staff is very welcoming. We will miss Woody immensely but will definitely continue supporting this Cane's!

The crinkle fries are the best not salty. The sweet tea on the other hand tastes like water with sugar you're better off getting a diet soda! I Wish they offered water or plain seltzer for those that don't drink soda at all. It's a healthier alternative option! The Texas toast WOW I order extra! So good fresh crispy and well seasoned! They should have a cheese option that would be amazing! The service is super fast if they are busy the manager( I think it was the manager) was out front helping today and he apologized for the delay! That is amazing customer service! The restaurant is so clean it's always full but the booths and seats are clean! I love that they are always stocked well with napkins and extras at the counter! And finally the secret sauce is OUTSTANDING!!
