#6 Milk Cream Curry Hot Soup

Boiling point is my favorite go to/taiwanese hot pot restaurant! They did increased price over time and now is $20 bucks, i will still go back go it whenever i am craving hotpot. My all time favorite is milky curry flavor. So rich in flavor and I always get to save half so it ends up being 2 meals for me! Definitely go check it out!

Tried this spot on a Saturday at like 1 and was like a 20 minute wait, they had a text feature on the phone which made it easy for us to go over to uwajimaya right next door and shop around for a bit while waiting. Service was nice and friendly, only thing weird was that we tried to order the lemon iced tea which was on the menu but we tried to order with the server they were like we don't have that and we kept pointing to the menu. In the end we just got a green tea but that was weird. The bowls come with teas and I upgraded mine to the lychee but I think the lychee actually tastes worse than the normal green tea, it was a bit like gritty and not very flavorful. The Korean bean paste soup was alright but too me wasn't very flavorful and I would order a different flavor next time. Overall I like the place but I think I just ordered wrong things today as I liked my friends dishes and drinks more.

Came in on a Tuesday night and had to wait max 5 mins for a table. Haven't been in a while and they changed up some of the waitlist/app features. Usually I opt for the beef but tried the Thai hot soup and it was good! Definitely on the sour side so if that's not your cup of tea, I'd try another flavor pot. There was a variety of seafood and had pork and veggies. My preference is definitely rice over noodles. I liked the remodel and will definitely come again since they are one of the few restaurants open a little later in the area. Thanks!

The food is delicious here. I've had most the dishes except for the mutton and the spicy ones (mostly because I'm a wimp). The service was prompt. Be ready to wait because there aren't that many seats. If you love soup/ broths. You'll love this place.

    #5 Lamb Hot Soup

I got the lamb hot pot, which came with all toppings and included a choice of iced tea (Green Tea or Wintermelon Tea) as it was lunch. The servers were quick and friendly, taking orders promptly and serving food within 30 minutes. The interior is medium leaning towards the smaller side, but it adds to a cozier atmosphere. Tables are set up to accommodate 2 to 4 people, with wait ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. Generally, if you show up before the rush, you'll be fine! Delicious single serve Taiwanese Hot Pot here and an amazing lunch spot (~20 per person)!

Grumpy server (ponytail, bit chubby -- sorry just trying to describe her) 11/04 around 2 pm. She took our order and paid to her. I asked for lime in the end and didn't say anything and just sighed. Is she ok? Seems like she's not happy with her job and she's such a downer. The lady beside me was also upset because they gave her wrong broth. That server also dgaf.

I've gone twice and food was good. May be worth going if you're in the mood for a quick hot pot meal. Both times, they forgot to get us our rice/vermicelli noodles until late into the meal, though. During Saturday dinnertime, wait time was approximately 1 hour.

I love Boiling Point. It is one of my favorite places to visit, whether I'm going alone or with a group of friends. Boiling Point has been celebrating its 20th anniversary, and throughout September, they've been offering a BOGO deal on their hot soups and drinks! With this deal, if you buy a hot soup and drink during the specified weekend and location, you receive a free voucher for both a hot soup and drink to use from October 2024 to October 2025. My sister and I were on a mission to be among the first to be seated when Boiling Point opened at 11AM on Sunday morning. The Bellevue and Redmond locations were offering the BOGO deal from 9/13 to 9/15, so we made sure to arrive by 10:30AM. People didn't start lining up until 10:45AM, and we were the second group in line. This was our first visit to the Bellevue location, and I was impressed with the overall experience. The parking lot is a bit awkward and small, as it's shared with several other businesses. Despite what I'm sure was a busy weekend due to the BOGO promotion, the staff were friendly and professional. My sister ordered the Thai Tomato Hot Soup with a Taro Milk Green Tea Slush, while I had the Beef Hot Soup and Winter Melon Juice. Our drinks were okay, though not what we typically get at Boiling Point. The taro drink was quite milky and not very sweet, and the winter melon juice was also on the less sweet side, but I didn't mind too much. Our soups were great, and we didn't even need to ask anyone to put out our fire; it was just the right amount for it to extinguish on its own.

We came here after running on a Saturday morning and wanted something hot after a cold day. We came right at opening (11am) and got a table instantly. During lunch, there's a special where you can get a drink complementary to your meal. We got the green tea which was very good and the winter melon which was overly sweet; both iced. The staff is mindful of getting people out the door quickly and turn over tables efficiently so we ordered fairly quickly, but didn't feel rushed. We got beef soup and two milk cream curry soups. I think we all ordered too spicy because we got 2/5 and were sweating. They were all delicious and super hot when they came out. The staff were attentive and kept asking whether we needed anything, got us water, added broth to our soup and put out our fire out when it started boiling too much .The food came out quickly and by the time we were leaving, there was a huge line. I think the queue was around eight parties of people (1pm on Saturday). I do not think they take reservations so I would come here an hour before you want to eat and be prepared to walk around the mall as you wait. It is convenient because the mall is only five minutes away by walking.

I order take out from here all the time. My personal favorites are the beef hot pot or the Korean hot pot. The broth is so flavorful and they add lots of vegetables and tofu and fish balls etc. I also like ordering them extra hot! The staff are always very friendly and quick to prepare my take out order so that it's ready by the time I pick it up. Just thinking of the food always makes me hungry! They don't take reservations and I noticed there is usually a long line for dinner. I wish one day they would accept reservations!

4.5 stars! Boiling Point is a Must in the Seattle Freeze Every time we're in Seattle, Boiling Point is a must-visit. Here's what makes it so special: Garlic Bean Paste with House Special: Pure deliciousness--rich, savory, and comforting. Fermented Tofu: Super stinky in the best way possible--a bold and unforgettable flavor. Favorite Ingredients: Beef, tomatoes, cabbage, mushrooms, and fishcake--all my top picks in one bowl. Service: The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I also love the free digestive jelly they give at the end--such a thoughtful touch! One downside is the wait. I wish they had a reservation system because we were stuck outside in the freezing cold with limited space to wait. In hindsight, we could've stayed warm next door at Snowy Village. Even with the wait, the food and service make it absolutely worth it. Perfect for warming up in the Seattle chill!

The server named (Krystal) had a poor attitude and was visibly rolling her eyes at us. I should've just left her no tip.

Easy parking which they validate, a nice mall to digest afterwards, and plenty of dessert and boba around. Plus a convenient location with the new 2 line link. Reserve through Yelp if possible because it's easy and convenient, they'll usually seat parties within 15 minutes of reservation time. Cozy inside, decent space between tables, and there's even a downstairs. Service is always wonderful, even though we had four servers during our visit as they rotated, we had an excellent experience with tons of attention. They forgot our enoki mushrooms but one quick wave down fixed it without hassle, so appreciate that. Paid about $100 per person each time, but we go a bit hard, could get away with $50-60 per person plus their tasty sauce and food bar. They don't explain the happy hour that well, but during happy hour they have set menus that include sauce bar and unlimited rice or noodles. Unfortunately, we didn't see it until after ordering so paid a bit extra. Pork bone broth is pretty average, a safe choice but nothing special over here. However, their tomato broth is one of the richest around, rich and umami. Luckily everyone gets their own pot which is essentially a cost per person, before ordering menu items. All the beef is so tasty, tender, and perfectly fatty. Great seafood (especially the shrimp paste / shrimp pate).

Although it was pretty busy inside, we were able to be seated in about 10 minutes, which was great for a last minute decision for Shabu Shabu. I haven't done many Shabu Shabu places, but this one is a bit different since you get a set of vegetables and meat rather than ordering multiple rounds. The quality of the meat and vegetables, in my opinion, was much higher compared to those places where you're able to get multiple rounds of meat or select your own vegetables/sides. The broth (I had kombu) was pretty light, so it wasn't the best. The service was pretty friendly and the only fault to them was they didn't come around to refill our pots with hot water. I enjoyed dinner here and would definitely come back again. The quality of the food, the calm restaurant atmosphere, and the polite staff made it an enjoyable experience.

It's a very cute Japanese restaurant, with very patient staff who answered all our questions. (Thank you for doing that). Tha takoyaki was pretty good but if it memory serves I believe it was over $10. It wasn't too mushy and it was well-flavored. The salad was worth its price. It was very small. The dressing was pretty good, not too overpowering of sesame. The crunchy tuna rice was really good (I really like crunchy rice) but it felt over priced. This could honestly be made at home. The shabu shabu was very impressive. I got the sukiyaki shabu shabu, which I think had the most flavor out of the ones my family got (spicy miso and original). The ponzu and nut sauce that comes with the dish is delicious as always, and the meat was really fun to cook. If you don't know, it is called "Shabu shabu" because you swipe the meat back and forth and by the time u finish talking it's cooked! We got the Americans wagyu, beef, park belly, and pork. Everything was well made, fresh, and beautifully presented (the pork belly had a rose made out of meat!) Overall it was good. It's a fun experience. And hot pot type meals are usually expensive, but nothing quite tops MalaTang.
