#6 Milk Cream Curry Hot Soup

Boiling point is my favorite go to/taiwanese hot pot restaurant! They did increased price over time and now is $20 bucks, i will still go back go it whenever i am craving hotpot. My all time favorite is milky curry flavor. So rich in flavor and I always get to save half so it ends up being 2 meals for me! Definitely go check it out!

Tried this spot on a Saturday at like 1 and was like a 20 minute wait, they had a text feature on the phone which made it easy for us to go over to uwajimaya right next door and shop around for a bit while waiting. Service was nice and friendly, only thing weird was that we tried to order the lemon iced tea which was on the menu but we tried to order with the server they were like we don't have that and we kept pointing to the menu. In the end we just got a green tea but that was weird. The bowls come with teas and I upgraded mine to the lychee but I think the lychee actually tastes worse than the normal green tea, it was a bit like gritty and not very flavorful. The Korean bean paste soup was alright but too me wasn't very flavorful and I would order a different flavor next time. Overall I like the place but I think I just ordered wrong things today as I liked my friends dishes and drinks more.

Came in on a Tuesday night and had to wait max 5 mins for a table. Haven't been in a while and they changed up some of the waitlist/app features. Usually I opt for the beef but tried the Thai hot soup and it was good! Definitely on the sour side so if that's not your cup of tea, I'd try another flavor pot. There was a variety of seafood and had pork and veggies. My preference is definitely rice over noodles. I liked the remodel and will definitely come again since they are one of the few restaurants open a little later in the area. Thanks!

The food is delicious here. I've had most the dishes except for the mutton and the spicy ones (mostly because I'm a wimp). The service was prompt. Be ready to wait because there aren't that many seats. If you love soup/ broths. You'll love this place.

    #5 Lamb Hot Soup

I got the lamb hot pot, which came with all toppings and included a choice of iced tea (Green Tea or Wintermelon Tea) as it was lunch. The servers were quick and friendly, taking orders promptly and serving food within 30 minutes. The interior is medium leaning towards the smaller side, but it adds to a cozier atmosphere. Tables are set up to accommodate 2 to 4 people, with wait ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. Generally, if you show up before the rush, you'll be fine! Delicious single serve Taiwanese Hot Pot here and an amazing lunch spot (~20 per person)!

Grumpy server (ponytail, bit chubby -- sorry just trying to describe her) 11/04 around 2 pm. She took our order and paid to her. I asked for lime in the end and didn't say anything and just sighed. Is she ok? Seems like she's not happy with her job and she's such a downer. The lady beside me was also upset because they gave her wrong broth. That server also dgaf.

I've gone twice and food was good. May be worth going if you're in the mood for a quick hot pot meal. Both times, they forgot to get us our rice/vermicelli noodles until late into the meal, though. During Saturday dinnertime, wait time was approximately 1 hour.

I love Boiling Point. It is one of my favorite places to visit, whether I'm going alone or with a group of friends. Boiling Point has been celebrating its 20th anniversary, and throughout September, they've been offering a BOGO deal on their hot soups and drinks! With this deal, if you buy a hot soup and drink during the specified weekend and location, you receive a free voucher for both a hot soup and drink to use from October 2024 to October 2025. My sister and I were on a mission to be among the first to be seated when Boiling Point opened at 11AM on Sunday morning. The Bellevue and Redmond locations were offering the BOGO deal from 9/13 to 9/15, so we made sure to arrive by 10:30AM. People didn't start lining up until 10:45AM, and we were the second group in line. This was our first visit to the Bellevue location, and I was impressed with the overall experience. The parking lot is a bit awkward and small, as it's shared with several other businesses. Despite what I'm sure was a busy weekend due to the BOGO promotion, the staff were friendly and professional. My sister ordered the Thai Tomato Hot Soup with a Taro Milk Green Tea Slush, while I had the Beef Hot Soup and Winter Melon Juice. Our drinks were okay, though not what we typically get at Boiling Point. The taro drink was quite milky and not very sweet, and the winter melon juice was also on the less sweet side, but I didn't mind too much. Our soups were great, and we didn't even need to ask anyone to put out our fire; it was just the right amount for it to extinguish on its own.

We came here after running on a Saturday morning and wanted something hot after a cold day. We came right at opening (11am) and got a table instantly. During lunch, there's a special where you can get a drink complementary to your meal. We got the green tea which was very good and the winter melon which was overly sweet; both iced. The staff is mindful of getting people out the door quickly and turn over tables efficiently so we ordered fairly quickly, but didn't feel rushed. We got beef soup and two milk cream curry soups. I think we all ordered too spicy because we got 2/5 and were sweating. They were all delicious and super hot when they came out. The staff were attentive and kept asking whether we needed anything, got us water, added broth to our soup and put out our fire out when it started boiling too much .The food came out quickly and by the time we were leaving, there was a huge line. I think the queue was around eight parties of people (1pm on Saturday). I do not think they take reservations so I would come here an hour before you want to eat and be prepared to walk around the mall as you wait. It is convenient because the mall is only five minutes away by walking.

I order take out from here all the time. My personal favorites are the beef hot pot or the Korean hot pot. The broth is so flavorful and they add lots of vegetables and tofu and fish balls etc. I also like ordering them extra hot! The staff are always very friendly and quick to prepare my take out order so that it's ready by the time I pick it up. Just thinking of the food always makes me hungry! They don't take reservations and I noticed there is usually a long line for dinner. I wish one day they would accept reservations!

4.5 stars! Boiling Point is a Must in the Seattle Freeze Every time we're in Seattle, Boiling Point is a must-visit. Here's what makes it so special: Garlic Bean Paste with House Special: Pure deliciousness--rich, savory, and comforting. Fermented Tofu: Super stinky in the best way possible--a bold and unforgettable flavor. Favorite Ingredients: Beef, tomatoes, cabbage, mushrooms, and fishcake--all my top picks in one bowl. Service: The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I also love the free digestive jelly they give at the end--such a thoughtful touch! One downside is the wait. I wish they had a reservation system because we were stuck outside in the freezing cold with limited space to wait. In hindsight, we could've stayed warm next door at Snowy Village. Even with the wait, the food and service make it absolutely worth it. Perfect for warming up in the Seattle chill!

First time, they didn't secure the lid to the bowl of congee and it arrived all over the poor uber driver's car and in the delivery bag. Second time, they served us burnt congee that reeked of chemicals and had little burnt bits in it. Then this time, the congee is absolutely tasteless and they gave us the wrong soy sauce for the shrimp rice rolls. Shrimp rice rolls usually come with a sweet soy sauce, but they always pack you a whole sauce container of regular soy sauce that you won't realize until you pour it over the rice rolls. Sure they might be more reliable if you're dining there; but please don't even bother ordering take out or delivery. It's funny because every time i order congee, it's because I'm so severely hungover and sick and am so desperate for some comfort food. And every time without fail, they make the situation worst some how lol. Also every time we do call in to complain it always sounds like a teen kid that's working and is not helpful at all. Ugh.

There's something to be said about those classic businesses still intact in an ever-growing Bellevue, including Lil' Jon's. I can't believe it took me so long to make my way here, but actually, I can believe it since I hardly ever go out for breakfast, which this place primarily is known for - classic breakfast entrees. Sure, they have a lunch menu of sandwiches, soups and salads, but breakfast is what you come here for. My friends and I went to Lil' Jon's for breakfast on a Sunday morning and yes, the place was packed, especially since it was a few days after Christmas, so everyone was in town. For the four of us, we waited for about half an hour, which we didn't mind. They do have seats/a waiting area by the entrance. I ordered the biscuits and gravy dish and we all shared the cinnamon roll. We heard the cinnamon rolls are a must-try, and quite honestly, I think you can skip out on this. We were told when we ordered one around the late morning that we were taking one of the last ones as they sell out of these babies, so maybe that's why the cinnamon roll wasn't all that tasty as it wasn't warm and soft. It tasted like it was sitting out for awhile, and was not easy to cut through which is surprising since it's dough. But yeah, skip the cinnamon roll. If you have to try it for yourself, note that it's massive, so is easy to share. However, my biscuits and gravy were solid. I love country gravy, which there was a good amount of, especially on top of the soft-baked biscuits. I would've preferred the sausage in the gravy to have been ground pork sausage, which is normally how this is made, but the cut-up sausage links were fine. I like that you can also get eggs however you prefer, so poached for the win! Anyway, Lil' Jon's is a staple in Bellevue that all Bellevue residents should try at least once. Come here for the unlimited amounts of drip coffee, biscuits and gravy and the friendly staff. We had fun.

The menu is straightforward. We ordered at the counter. The food is brought to our table. The food took quite a while with big crowds coming in after us. I suspect they cook in batches as multiple groups received food at the same time. It was mostly self-service (utensils, water) until the restaurant quieted down, then we saw servers cleaning tables, etc. The Food: Combo Dinner with two sides, $26 - 5 Stars The combo plat offers two meat choices. I chose the wings and catfish. The wings are sizable and plump. Highly recommend. The catfish was a thinner cut and a bit dryer. I liked the very thin breading on the catfish, not greasy, and it tasted good with Tabasco. For sides, both the collard greens and fried okra are excellent. In fact, I say the okra is perfection! The little corn bread is just right for me. I thought the corn bread has good flavor while hubby said it was too dry. Catfish Dinner with two sides, $24 - 3.5 Stars Hubby complained the catfish was too thin. He's not a Tabasco person, so that doesn't help. I gave him two wings to calm him down. Lol. He loved the hush puppies the best. They are huge with a wonderful crisp. I agree with him! He thought the yams are too sweet; they do look sweet in the liquids but isn't that want yams are intended to be? I think he just needs to order differently in the future.
