BOILING POINT @ BELLEVUE WAY Parking is available in their own private lot, however the spot is located in a plaza, so it's shared between other restaurants and places as well. It does get pretty crowded, but you'll still be able to find a spot. My friend and I came here around 5:30 PM and the place itself is very small. There's probably about 10 tables total, so it's definitely a tight space, but luckily a table opened up right as we walked in. They do have a waitlist, except we were seated right away. We got some waters, which was nice, and wanted to try their fruit teas, so I got a lychee green tea and my friend got their passionfruit green tea. Both were honestly horrible. They tasted like run-down sink water mixed with whatever syrup they use. It was really awful. I thought maybe it was a sugar-level issue, so we politely asked if they could readjust it, but it came back tasting the exact same. I'm very thankful the service was super nice and they removed it from our bill, but I would not recommend any of their fruit drinks at all. For the hot pot, though, it was a completely different story. We ended up getting the rose milky and I got a beef soup, and both were a 10 out of 10. Amazing flavor, great quality, and so much meat, it was incredible. Each hot pot also sits over a small fire, so your food stays hot the entire time, and the staff can turn it off or on whenever you need, which I really loved. The meal also comes with your choice of rice or vermicelli, which is a clear noodle. Overall, the experience was really great. I would definitely come back to Boiling Point. The food was delicious and the service was so nice!

Boiling Point is a great option for a cloudy Seattle day. They recently renovated and changed their online waitlist system, you can now sign up for it through a QR code when you walk in. I would definitely say the parking can be limited and not as good as other locations but I love the consistency on flavor for the Bellevue location specifically. It's not super big so keep that in mind if you're coming with big parties. It's a concept where each person can get their own personalized hot pot with live fire underneath. You can always ask for more fire or more soup to make your experience even better. Staff: Okay (3.5/5) Sanitation status: Clean (4/5) Milk Cream Curry (4.5/5) I love this combination. The curry broth in here is amazing. I usually get medium for my spice level. The bowl comes with vermicelli noodles, fish balls, corn, cabbage, imitation crab, string beans, pork, bean curd and many more things. I always opt for this flavor as I feel like I can't find something comprable anywhere else so far especially for individual hot pot places.

Boiling point is my favorite go to/taiwanese hot pot restaurant! They did increased price over time and now is $20 bucks, i will still go back go it whenever i am craving hotpot. My all time favorite is milky curry flavor. So rich in flavor and I always get to save half so it ends up being 2 meals for me! Definitely go check it out!

Came in on a Tuesday night and had to wait max 5 mins for a table. Haven't been in a while and they changed up some of the waitlist/app features. Usually I opt for the beef but tried the Thai hot soup and it was good! Definitely on the sour side so if that's not your cup of tea, I'd try another flavor pot. There was a variety of seafood and had pork and veggies. My preference is definitely rice over noodles. I liked the remodel and will definitely come again since they are one of the few restaurants open a little later in the area. Thanks!

Tried this spot on a Saturday at like 1 and was like a 20 minute wait, they had a text feature on the phone which made it easy for us to go over to uwajimaya right next door and shop around for a bit while waiting. Service was nice and friendly, only thing weird was that we tried to order the lemon iced tea which was on the menu but we tried to order with the server they were like we don't have that and we kept pointing to the menu. In the end we just got a green tea but that was weird. The bowls come with teas and I upgraded mine to the lychee but I think the lychee actually tastes worse than the normal green tea, it was a bit like gritty and not very flavorful. The Korean bean paste soup was alright but too me wasn't very flavorful and I would order a different flavor next time. Overall I like the place but I think I just ordered wrong things today as I liked my friends dishes and drinks more.

Grumpy server (ponytail, bit chubby -- sorry just trying to describe her) 11/04 around 2 pm. She took our order and paid to her. I asked for lime in the end and didn't say anything and just sighed. Is she ok? Seems like she's not happy with her job and she's such a downer. The lady beside me was also upset because they gave her wrong broth. That server also dgaf.

The food is delicious here. I've had most the dishes except for the mutton and the spicy ones (mostly because I'm a wimp). The service was prompt. Be ready to wait because there aren't that many seats. If you love soup/ broths. You'll love this place.

I've gone twice and food was good. May be worth going if you're in the mood for a quick hot pot meal. Both times, they forgot to get us our rice/vermicelli noodles until late into the meal, though. During Saturday dinnertime, wait time was approximately 1 hour.

I love Boiling Point. It is one of my favorite places to visit, whether I'm going alone or with a group of friends. Boiling Point has been celebrating its 20th anniversary, and throughout September, they've been offering a BOGO deal on their hot soups and drinks! With this deal, if you buy a hot soup and drink during the specified weekend and location, you receive a free voucher for both a hot soup and drink to use from October 2024 to October 2025. My sister and I were on a mission to be among the first to be seated when Boiling Point opened at 11AM on Sunday morning. The Bellevue and Redmond locations were offering the BOGO deal from 9/13 to 9/15, so we made sure to arrive by 10:30AM. People didn't start lining up until 10:45AM, and we were the second group in line. This was our first visit to the Bellevue location, and I was impressed with the overall experience. The parking lot is a bit awkward and small, as it's shared with several other businesses. Despite what I'm sure was a busy weekend due to the BOGO promotion, the staff were friendly and professional. My sister ordered the Thai Tomato Hot Soup with a Taro Milk Green Tea Slush, while I had the Beef Hot Soup and Winter Melon Juice. Our drinks were okay, though not what we typically get at Boiling Point. The taro drink was quite milky and not very sweet, and the winter melon juice was also on the less sweet side, but I didn't mind too much. Our soups were great, and we didn't even need to ask anyone to put out our fire; it was just the right amount for it to extinguish on its own.

    #5 Lamb Hot Soup

I got the lamb hot pot, which came with all toppings and included a choice of iced tea (Green Tea or Wintermelon Tea) as it was lunch. The servers were quick and friendly, taking orders promptly and serving food within 30 minutes. The interior is medium leaning towards the smaller side, but it adds to a cozier atmosphere. Tables are set up to accommodate 2 to 4 people, with wait ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. Generally, if you show up before the rush, you'll be fine! Delicious single serve Taiwanese Hot Pot here and an amazing lunch spot (~20 per person)!

We came here after running on a Saturday morning and wanted something hot after a cold day. We came right at opening (11am) and got a table instantly. During lunch, there's a special where you can get a drink complementary to your meal. We got the green tea which was very good and the winter melon which was overly sweet; both iced. The staff is mindful of getting people out the door quickly and turn over tables efficiently so we ordered fairly quickly, but didn't feel rushed. We got beef soup and two milk cream curry soups. I think we all ordered too spicy because we got 2/5 and were sweating. They were all delicious and super hot when they came out. The staff were attentive and kept asking whether we needed anything, got us water, added broth to our soup and put out our fire out when it started boiling too much .The food came out quickly and by the time we were leaving, there was a huge line. I think the queue was around eight parties of people (1pm on Saturday). I do not think they take reservations so I would come here an hour before you want to eat and be prepared to walk around the mall as you wait. It is convenient because the mall is only five minutes away by walking.

I order take out from here all the time. My personal favorites are the beef hot pot or the Korean hot pot. The broth is so flavorful and they add lots of vegetables and tofu and fish balls etc. I also like ordering them extra hot! The staff are always very friendly and quick to prepare my take out order so that it's ready by the time I pick it up. Just thinking of the food always makes me hungry! They don't take reservations and I noticed there is usually a long line for dinner. I wish one day they would accept reservations!

4.5 stars! Boiling Point is a Must in the Seattle Freeze Every time we're in Seattle, Boiling Point is a must-visit. Here's what makes it so special: Garlic Bean Paste with House Special: Pure deliciousness--rich, savory, and comforting. Fermented Tofu: Super stinky in the best way possible--a bold and unforgettable flavor. Favorite Ingredients: Beef, tomatoes, cabbage, mushrooms, and fishcake--all my top picks in one bowl. Service: The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I also love the free digestive jelly they give at the end--such a thoughtful touch! One downside is the wait. I wish they had a reservation system because we were stuck outside in the freezing cold with limited space to wait. In hindsight, we could've stayed warm next door at Snowy Village. Even with the wait, the food and service make it absolutely worth it. Perfect for warming up in the Seattle chill!

Their most popular dishes are the rice rolls while everyone still complains about how long it takes to make stone pot rice dishes. In case anyone misses the fine print, it takes over 30 minutes. Another couple in the restaurant thought they forgot to make the dish and were yelling into the kitchen. The staff is friendly, though limited with their English. We ordered via the tablet at the front, and the food is brought out to us at the table. A rack on a wall has all the utensils and napkins, etc. Parking is plentiful. The Food: Shrimp Rice Rolls $11.99 - 4 Stars The rice rolls are still as good as I remember them. For some reason, it feels a bit out of balance this time. A lot of rice rolls, not a lot of shrimp. The sauce is fantastic and a must. Signature Beef Brisket Rice Rolls add Egg, $18.99+$1 - 4 Stars This is a beefy take on the rice roll. The added egg provided the yellow hue in the rice roll. Some brisket pieces are fattier. Their version is the traditional style with the chewy bit attached; some folks might hate it due to this. The sauce is also beefy. This is almost a soup, not in a bad way. Clear Soup Beef Offal with Daikon, $12.99 - 0 Stars This was a sad dish. When they say soup, they meant most broth, with few contents. The daikon wasn't tender. The offal and the soup didn't have much flavor. I rarely leave food behind, but I did for this dish. Garlic Fried Chicken Wings, $7.99 - 5 Stars The clear winner of the night were their wings. I believe four pieces of plump and fat wings, perfectly crispy and flavorful. I would order this again.

The menu is straightforward. We ordered at the counter. The food is brought to our table. The food took quite a while with big crowds coming in after us. I suspect they cook in batches as multiple groups received food at the same time. It was mostly self-service (utensils, water) until the restaurant quieted down, then we saw servers cleaning tables, etc. The Food: Combo Dinner with two sides, $26 - 5 Stars The combo plat offers two meat choices. I chose the wings and catfish. The wings are sizable and plump. Highly recommend. The catfish was a thinner cut and a bit dryer. I liked the very thin breading on the catfish, not greasy, and it tasted good with Tabasco. For sides, both the collard greens and fried okra are excellent. In fact, I say the okra is perfection! The little corn bread is just right for me. I thought the corn bread has good flavor while hubby said it was too dry. Catfish Dinner with two sides, $24 - 3.5 Stars Hubby complained the catfish was too thin. He's not a Tabasco person, so that doesn't help. I gave him two wings to calm him down. Lol. He loved the hush puppies the best. They are huge with a wonderful crisp. I agree with him! He thought the yams are too sweet; they do look sweet in the liquids but isn't that want yams are intended to be? I think he just needs to order differently in the future.
