The first time I ever had broiler Bay hamburgers was at theirs shoreline location many years ago! This place tastes just as I had it then, i like their fries and fry sauce. It was pretty simple burger with minimal flavor on the meat/sauces. Go give it a try.

Wanted a bite to eat and ran into this place. Walking in it feels like an old school burger and fry joint. Menu on the wall in front of you and a guy waiting for you to figure out what you want. A tad bit of seating to eat in the back. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger w/fries & Strawberry Shake. Bacon Cheeseburger was ok.....Fries were good. They have a fry sauce that isn't bad. If you're in the area check it out.

If you're looking for a great regular burger, this is the place. Nothing fancy about it but it's exactly how a burger should be.

Got a lot more on this carryout visit, and as a whole, the group thought it was good. Stopped in about 5 minutes before scheduled opening (11am), and was the 2nd person. You order and pay (they accept credit card), then wait for your order (in my case, it was 15 minutes). That gave me time to collect condiments, etc. (they have a self serve soda machine). In the meanwhile, people kept coming in and everyone (except one) were nearby construction workers looking for a sit-down burger lunch. They use real fresh vegetables here for the burger (shredded lettuce, and nice looking tomato slices). I think the chicken sandwich is what took the most time. Cheeseburger ($6.69) - tasty beef, large toasted bun, fresh toppings. BBQ Chicken ($8.990 - same large size as burger, skinless non breaded chicken breast. Definitely filling. Phili Cheesesteak ($10.99) - it was OK. Good mix of ingredients, but unlike the burgers, had too little meat. Each bite was mostly bread and gooey cheese, would be good if you could double (or triple) the amount of meat. French fries ($4.99) - well fried steak sized fries, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Onion Rings ($4.99) - they are known for these and I can see why...though considering this should have been the first batch of the day, strangely most if it was badly fried (super greasy and very limp). A bit disappointing, though for the price, a good deal. I don't think they have an official website...the one that google routes you to, has prices that are very old (more than 50% less than actual). The prices now are what you would expect in this day and age.

This place is kind of tucked away, I only found it because of Yelp! My parents and I walked in on a Saturday night around 6pm and there were a few other people inside waiting for their to-go orders. There were a few tables inside to sit at and our order took about 10mins to come out. The burger was good, but the bun was quite large, so it felt like a lot of bread. The onion rings and the milkshakes were my favorite part! We tried the rootbeer and the seasonal eggnog shakes and they were delicious. The portions of fries and onion rings were definitely sharing size and one order of each was plenty for the 3 of us. Will be back to try more!!

I hadn't been to Broiler Bay for at least 10 years, and seeing a lot of recent pub reminded me that I needed to get back. Perfectly executed charbroiled burger, fries, and a delicious black raspberry shake. Nothing fancy, just delicious. I plan on making another visit shortly, this time I'm going with a double to balance out the meat to bun ratio a bit.

I've lived here 35 years and finally tried this place. What took me so long? The burger was well constructed, had a good sauce, and held together to the last bite. My burger loving other really liked it. I had a grilled chicken breast no bun, and that was good too! The fries were a generous portion and kinda crispy on the outside. Just thicker than I usually like fries. Loved all the sauce options.

I kinda felt duped by the photos with pricing on Yelp. On the page for this listing it shows various burgers at $4 - $5 price point. And other reviews that said you could a burger, fries and drink for $10 and under. This is definitely not true. My son got the bacon cheeseburger which was $8 and some change, onion rings which were $4.99 and a shake. The total for his meal was $21. Which is average market price but compared to what I saw on Yelp, it was vastly different. But even when we walked in and saw the different prices, because all the ratings were a 4&5 star, decided we would give it ago. First the burger patty is thin and is overwhelmed by such a big and thick bun. The toppings were fresh, the bacon fried crispy and delicious. Overall the burger was alright. 3/5. Nothing we'd come back for though. The onion rings were most definitely flowing out of the bag. They were hot and fresh and a little on the oily side. The batter was nice though. Crispy and not too thick just a little laden with oil. Service was good. It was an easy encounter, you walk in and order at the counter. They have a self service station for napkins, ketchup, the sauce they make, and some hot sauces. Plenty of seating inside. A few seats at a side counter and 4 tables in a back room. There is additional seating outside as well. 4/5 for cleanliness. Tables were cleaned when we sat down and they immediately cleaned tables when someone left. I definitely respect and appreciate this. Overall it's alright eats.

Tried and true. Definitely better than all the chain fast food options around. Staff is polite and efficient. Quality of burgers always high. Fries and onion rings are crispy and never stale. What more could you ask for???

The space is small but it doesn't bother us at all. The milk shake is good. Fries are amazing. And their sauces are all so good. You really can't go wrong with any of the katsu burger, but we do prefer the chicken katsu patty vs the others. That's just our preference. My friend likes the beef. You can't go wrong either way! When choosing the sauce for your fries, I highly recommend the garlic sauce. It is so good. The staff is also always very kind and friendly. We just love it. PLUS I noticed that they had this sign that said they do not use peanuts. So that's a big win for us as we have a kiddo with peanut allergy.

Loved the crispness of the tofu, crunchy veggies and the sweet and salty flavors oozing from the sauce. The Kanna Akuma is for folks who like it spicy-- there's a lot of jalapeños so beware! The fries were crispy with a nice earthy-with-a-kick Indian masala flavor! Not much of a dine-in experience just so you know. Its more of a pick up joint. I placed my order online and it was ready at the estimated time. My bill came up to $34 total, but these are specialty burgers so it makes sense. I would totally recommend this to a friend. And looking forward to trying other items on their menu.

I love going to local brewpubs and microbreweries when traveling. So when I saw this location of…read moreBellevue's largest microbrewery, my wife and I had to stop in for an early lunch with a sampling of beers. The food and beers were great. As the name states, the very large brewpub is located in the Spring District, inside the park/greenspace. The district used to be an industrial area, that has been transformed into a mixed residential/retail area, centered around the light rail transit station. The brewery makes great use of the outdoor space, with a lot of seating for an impromptu biergarten on nice days. This Tuesday was a typical March day in Seattle, which meant dining inside was a must. We ended up finding street parking a couple of blocks away, though they do have validated parking: in the underground parking right below (with under 10 dedicated spots) and the bigger Spring district Parking garage nearby. Amanda was our server, and she was super friendly, giving us suggestions. They have a large selection of house brewed beers, and we chose eight of the non-IPA ones as two flights, consisting of 4 5oz glasses (assuming it cost $12). We tried the Harvest Boom P.O.G. Wheat (this was our favorite one), Bothell Brown (liked this one), Snake Charmer Irish Red (strangely very mild for a Red), ChugMeister Mazren Lager (my second favorite). Second flight consisted of 1882 Pre-Prohibition Lager (very crisp and light), Muckle Flugga Scotch Ale (really like Scotch Ale in general, though hard to find on the West Coast...thought this version was OK), Schwarzbier Black Lager (different, very mild, really enjoyed), and a Der Kommissar Pilsner (super light with no body). I don't think I've been able to choose two flights of non-IPA in-house beers before...they keep a very large selection here, and it's worth coming to, just for the draft beers. We ordered some bar food that both of us like, and each plate was excellent. Shareable thick cut fries ($11) was very filling, especially since they were fried very well and were sturdy enough for dipping. Got Scotch Ale Chili ($13) and it was hearty, with plenty of pinto beans and good ground beef, with not too much chili powder. It came with housemade tortilla chips, which were thin and excellent. Wanted to try their beef birria, ordered their birria Nachos ($19) and it was really well prepared. Everything was diced into small pieces, used a really good beer cheese sauce and the the fresh guacamole was solid. For a brewpub, it has excellent bar food. The portions were large...we ended up taking about half of it home. Next time, will stay longer and try some of their main course dishes. The room was modern with plenty of windows for natural light. The central bar is huge, but there are plenty of bar tables as well, letting patrons decide how they want to dine/hang. My only complaint was that the payment process was at the table with only a tablet, and gave me no chance to look at the receipt. The total seemed right and was expecting a chance for receipt, but Amanda grabbed the tablet after my tip and signature before I could ask for a digital receipt, and then disappeared. I suppose I could have tracked her down, but getting a receipt after a meal should not be that hard. Can't remember the last time I was out, and couldn't get a receipt easily...would have made this review a bit easier.

I'm not a huge IPA fan, but they always have something malty or lager-like on the menu, too. Food is, IMHO, solid. Burgers are good, the fish and chips can be greasy but are usually quite good. Wife seems to like the chili and gluten-free pizzas. Staff are always awesome characters with a (fun, good) personality. Usually some game is on the TVs, and depending on time of day/week/year the crowd varies. Go visit. Breweries are closing because the younger generation's drinking less. You don't have to drink a ton, just support a local place with good food, vibe, and drinks (there's plenty of NA things).

There is no place to sit down and eat but there are some counter space at the sides where you can just stand and eat if you want. Deluxe Burger - (3/5) The good: The bun is soft and tastes fresh and the sauce is creamy and not too overwhelming. The bad: The 2 beef patties it comes with is dry, crumbly and overcooked and doesn't taste fresh to me. I understand that they are famous for non frozen beef and the overall flavor is decent, but I didn't walk away satisfied. I ordered onions on the side, because it didn't come with any and these onions were packed in a little container and without any spoon, there was any way for me to use it unless I bang it against the counter and it all came piling out at once. These onions did not seem fresh either, since they had no crisp and life to it and so bland that it didn't taste like onions at all. Fries - (2/5) I heard that Dick's fries were soggy and I lowered my expectations and kept an open mind. Sadly, that didn't help with appealing to my taste buds. The fries just seems sad, wilted and oily and just didn't satisfy my craving for some fries. Vanila Milkshake - (3/5) One thing I liked about this shake is that it's not overly sweet and doesn't taste artificial, however, it's very thick and doesn't have that fluffy, refreshing milk taste that I expect. I don't regret coming here and respect the local nostalgia that the locals seem to love here but I wouldn't come back.
