Honestly, a gem. Family owned small business, great food, the service is fine tuned clockwork - you cannot beat the value in downtown bellevue. Needs is one of the few places in downtown bellevue to eat a healthy lunch for less than $15 person. All ingredients are fresh, and the variety of food is staggering everything from hotdogs to hamburgers, sandwiches soups, and salads. Attached is a small wine and electronics store and on the other side a convenience store stocked with the standard energy bars, chocolate, vitamins medications etc.

Roast turkey + avocado + bacon sandwich

This is a hidden gem inside the Hyatt Regency! I picked up a roast turkey + avocado + bacon sandwich and it tasted fresh and delicious. I will be back for more!

I came in and asked for the discount and was informed that this was no longer in place. The man behind the register then looked at me and probably saw the exhaustion in my eyes of working 80/hr per week in the hospital for minimum wage and gave me a cup of matzo ball soup for free anyways. He didn't have to do that and it was such a kind and generous offer. What a genuine and caring establishment. Also that matzo ball soup was better than my Jewish grandmother's! Everyone should give this place their business.

Bonus: this spot is kosher! Potato Latkes (5/5): These latkes are thick boys and fried up so they're piping hot when they hit the table. Because of their size, you really get the contrast of the hard crunch on the outside with super fluffy potato inside. So good we immediately turned around and ordered more. Chocolate Babka (2/5): This was truly the only miss I've had here. Unfortunately, the babka just really dries out after it's been sliced, which is a shame because it's just gorgeous with generous swirls of chocolate inside. Reuben (5/5): I really thought their pastrami couldn't be beat, but the brisket is dare I say better? Just as tender and feels a bit less fatty, so it's a little more crushable. Tip: go for the seeded rye over the marbled rye; something about the marbled rye just falls apart a bit more with the juices of the meat, though it's still delicious! Black & White Cookies (4/5): I expected this to be cloyingly sweet, but this was actually scrumptious with some fresh lemon flavor in the cookie itself. Absolutely massive as well.

My husbands a lox guy and I prefer veggies so the avocado egg and cheese fit the bill perfectly. So long and thanks for all the fish!…read more Tasty food, but what an awful value. The model worked when you opened your business because value was there. Then you chose to increase prices and decrease the quantity, which didn't make sense. Less for more? What a waste of a great idea - greed is why your business model didn't work. Your business was so hot when it opened and it actually went downhill about 6 years ago and I am not sad to see you go. Josh - to respond to your comment. My note should have inspired some reflection with the business model but it didn't. Your level of greed was insane and that is not forgiven here. You started hot and decided to squeeze more than your share from this business and this is what happens. You messed around and found out. It's sad because I actually supported the business when it opened but quickly had to end my dealings due to the high level of greed. You did this to your own business by wanting more, more and more, so please don't play the victim here. I'm sorry that you're saddened by this but what you did to the community is far worse than what I said. Actually ripping people off with your product is not having humanity. I'm not the inhumane one here and let's get that straight. I didn't rip people off - you did! You got what you deserved and that's that. You likely have time to turn things around but I doubt you can reduce your greed in time. If you do, I'll gladly come back and support yall. Again - food was great and greed was not.

Extremely disappointed. I posted the above earlier at 3-stars, but I was too hasty posting before getting our food, expecting that even though the menu changed, the quality wouldn't. Sadly the bagel sandwiches aren't nearly stuffed to what they used to be and even the orange juice had extra pulp. My biggest complaint is still that there were no indicators in the store until we were trying to order. It is so frustrating to try to pivot when we're standing in front of the cashier with drinks in hand just trying to be on our way.

All the ingredients used felt like they were good quality. We ordered quickly and got our food quickly. The workers were friendly. There is a small eating area that is pleasant to sit at. It was pretty busy but didn't get very loud. I also bought a package of day old bagels for 50%, which ended up being $8. I had one toasted the next day and it was still very good. I thought that was a really good deal. There is a large parking lot behind the restaurant. You have to walk down either a few stairs or a ramp to get to the front door.
