The first time I came here, the employee working was super friendly but super focused on taking her break. I walked up to the register and ordered a drink and she hesitated and told me she was going on break. I asked if there was someone else who could help me, and finally she told me she would just get my drink for me. I don't really understand the staffing part but it could possibly be looked at. The other times I've been here, I've ordered take out. The truffle fries are mediocre at best - not well fried and lacking seasoning. The pizzas though, are good. The Parma was ok, I had higher hopes for it because I love prosciutto and arugula, but the summer corn was SO good. The flavor profile was just really unique but really refreshing. I've definitely come back just for the corn pizza alone. For being within a grocery store and not having good service, this is a little spendy, but if you're in the area, it's a nice option if you're in a rush.

Came in to warm up after a 5 mile walk and 3 miles to go on a 45 degree day. I got a dirty Chai hot drink from a drink machine. It was a bit sweet but hot and tasty. It's a self serve and pay which is nice. You grab and go. I also snagged one of the last Macrina pastries in the bakery! A delicious orange flavored danish. Watched the Bears/Bronco game on their TV while I ate my treat. It is clean, very casual and a comfortable vibe.

It was worth the hour drive. I learned through Yelp that this place serves American Wagyu burgers. Oh hell yeah! Absolutely delicious and juicy. The ingredients they chose to create these burgers work perfectly! Erica was a sweet heart server! This restaurant is located inside Town & Country. Casual dining with an upscale menu. We'll be back for sure!

TL;DR: Convenient eatery inside Town and Country Market in Lakemont. Wagyu Burger is a must. Affordable prices for the quality and quantity of food. Field House is a new grocer-to-table restaurant that is a partnership between Ethan Stowell (from Tavolata, etc) and Town and Country Market. They have other locations in Mill Creek and Poulsbo, but this smaller location has impressed with its high quality food preparation with fresh ingredients from the market. The staff is also attentive, always bringing utensils (note: very thick napkins are amazing) and confinements to the table once you place your order. The food itself is pretty good. We always get the Wagyu Burger or Cheeseburger. It's nicely priced at $16 and includes a big portion of crispy fries. The hamburger itself has a nice flaky bun, fresh and crisp tomato and lettuce, and the meat is cooked to remain its juicy texture and flavor. We also get the fish tacos; the fish is surprisingly flaky and moist while the crust is light (vs heavy and oily). They also have a good selection of beers and wine, so it's perfect for on the way home, takeout, or even an after work/school drink or two with food. It's also sorely needed in this area of Bellevue. There isn't anything comparable in Eastgate or Factoria (it is much better than Red Robin). Newcastle and Issaquah both have a couple restaurants with this type of food and drinks, but they're much more crowded and aren't a few minutes away.

A small eatery inside Town & Country market. I stopped by for a quick Friday dinner after a grocery run. They have a limited menu of shareables, burgers, pizzas etc. Very limited vegetarian fare. Ordered a mushroom cheese burger with an Impossible patty substitute. Pricey but delicious. The kids tried a few items from the hot bar like mac n cheese, grilled vegetables, tater tots, and mashed potatoes. Everything was so delicious. The mashed potatoes were particularly comforting!

And unlike the downtown Bellevue location, this spot is in a large business strip, with plenty of parking off of Factoria Boulevard. I visited this Evergreen's as I needed to get takeout/dinner and was in the area. I enjoy the salads and protein bowls here, so decided to get my usual Mediterranean bowl with double chicken for that extra protein on a Saturday night. When I usually go to the downtown Bellevue location, there's always a line, but this was not the case during my visit here. There was only two other people inside, so I was able to get my food quickly. Staff was friendly and happy to assist with my requests to customize my bowl. The food was solid with all the favorite toppings and goods, and they had some snack items and drinks, including local kombucha, which I'm a fan of. There's also plenty of seating inside for dining in, which I imagine gets busy during the lunch hour for all the businesses around the area. Glad there's another option to get Evergreen's in the city I live in.

Square Lotus offers an extensive choice of dishes. This visit we ordered the tropical fresh rolls and the pork on skewers, along with banh xeo The banh xeo was really nice and crispy. The only 2 drawbacks. for me was ... instead of pork belly, they use chicken, i think white meat cause the meat is very dry. The second is they don't offer a lot of fresh herbs with this dish. I went with their Classsic Vermicilli bowl which comes with pork, shrimp, a tiny egg rolls, noodles and cucumbers. It was delicious the pork was very tasty and the shrimp were seasoned perfectly. The restaurant is large and definitely a spot for families both small and big. I only noticed a few to go orders. Great spot for Vietnamese food if you happen to find yourself in Bellevue.

You have plenty of seating inside though some tables could have been wiped down better. Orders are placed via a QR code on each table, and you pay right there and then so that your food gets made. My last visit here was actually at its Kirkland location, so it's my first time here in their Newcastle location, which has a large parking lot that it shares with other neighboring businesses. I'm not sure what I got from here about 3 years ago but I do remember loving it a lot. This time I got their braised pork ribs rice vermicelli soup while my friend got what looked like their 12-spice beef noodle soup, both of which were decent when I had mines and tasted some of my friend's bowl. Soup is rich and relatively clean in flavor despite it not being clear soup, and vermicelli noodles went well with the broth. Pork ribs retained a lot of their taste even after being in the soup, but that's because the soup itself was really salty. My friend's soup for his order wasn't too spicy, and was about as salty as my order. We both agreed that we've had much better noodle soups in similar locations elsewhere, be it somewhere else in Bellevue or around the Bay Area. Regardless, I did love what I had and was satisfied enough to grab some dessert after. I might come back, be it at this location or the one in Kirkland.

They do take reservations and recommend so if you're a large group (10 or more) -- call or go through their website (best to call). During this visit, we had: For drinks: Bood Orange Margarita and Devil's Tequila. They were both good. The Devil's Tequila is a great summer drink. For appetizer we had the Porkbelly -- our usual appetizer order. Homemade country Pork belly tossed with sweet chili peppers and mango sauce, topped with jalapeño and cilantro, served with side of rice. Highly recommend trying this dish. Pork belly is nice and crispy. For our main: Milanesa Pollo - Mexico City classic, tender pan-fried chicken breast coated in homemade crispy breadcrumbs, served with cilantro, cotijoa cheese, lime, rice or a small salad. I chose salad and it was lettuce served on top of the dish. I asked for the dressing on the side (it was Caesar dressing...I don't think there was a choice). The chicken was cooked nicely and it was flavorful. I want to try the dish with rice next time. Mexicali Burro Asada - Grilled Wagyu Steak, monterey cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, french fries. Another favorite and usual order. Both are big portions for us, especially the Burro Asada. We both ended up boxing up half of our order. For dessert, we had Tres Leches Cake. It was house made on that day. It was different than any of the Tres Leches cake we've had elsewhere. The bottom part had a dense texture like bread pudding. It was very good! It was ok, but nothing special. The chips and salsa also needed work, the ships were kinda stale and the salsa was really tart. I'm starting to think locals don't want decent Mexican food, because we continue to be less than impressed. It's possible that Carne Asada and other dishes may have impressed, but based on the mediocre appetizer, I doubt we'll return. Again, it's ok, I wouldn't tell you not to come, I just wouldn't expect you to favorite this as your new Mexican Hot Spot. The food was a 2, but the service and portion all gave this score a bump.
