It was worth the hour drive. I learned through Yelp that this place serves American Wagyu burgers. Oh hell yeah! Absolutely delicious and juicy. The ingredients they chose to create these burgers work perfectly! Erica was a sweet heart server! This restaurant is located inside Town & Country. Casual dining with an upscale menu. We'll be back for sure!

TL;DR: Convenient eatery inside Town and Country Market in Lakemont. Wagyu Burger is a must. Affordable prices for the quality and quantity of food. Field House is a new grocer-to-table restaurant that is a partnership between Ethan Stowell (from Tavolata, etc) and Town and Country Market. They have other locations in Mill Creek and Poulsbo, but this smaller location has impressed with its high quality food preparation with fresh ingredients from the market. The staff is also attentive, always bringing utensils (note: very thick napkins are amazing) and confinements to the table once you place your order. The food itself is pretty good. We always get the Wagyu Burger or Cheeseburger. It's nicely priced at $16 and includes a big portion of crispy fries. The hamburger itself has a nice flaky bun, fresh and crisp tomato and lettuce, and the meat is cooked to remain its juicy texture and flavor. We also get the fish tacos; the fish is surprisingly flaky and moist while the crust is light (vs heavy and oily). They also have a good selection of beers and wine, so it's perfect for on the way home, takeout, or even an after work/school drink or two with food. It's also sorely needed in this area of Bellevue. There isn't anything comparable in Eastgate or Factoria (it is much better than Red Robin). Newcastle and Issaquah both have a couple restaurants with this type of food and drinks, but they're much more crowded and aren't a few minutes away.

A small eatery inside Town & Country market. I stopped by for a quick Friday dinner after a grocery run. They have a limited menu of shareables, burgers, pizzas etc. Very limited vegetarian fare. Ordered a mushroom cheese burger with an Impossible patty substitute. Pricey but delicious. The kids tried a few items from the hot bar like mac n cheese, grilled vegetables, tater tots, and mashed potatoes. Everything was so delicious. The mashed potatoes were particularly comforting!

My nephew was with us and so he said he wanted pizza. So my brother-in-law found Pagliacci pizza about a few blocks away. Upon arriving, the restaurant was already busy. Walking over to the counter, they had a few slices that you could choose from. They looked really good. However, my older sister decided to order two whole pizzas. The counter person was really helpful and my sister decided on one plain cheese and pepperoni pizza and the second was a sausage mushroom pizza. We didn't order any other drinks since we were still thirsty from our walk around the botanical park but the total for the two pizzas came out to $50. That's kind of pricey. We were able to find a nice family sized round table. We were able to get a few cups and got some waters and the usual time for our pizzas to be delivered to our table. I can understand why this restaurant is busy as the pizzas were really good. We waiting for our pizzas and more families sat down and ordered pizzas while others walked in. Got a slice or came in to pick up their phone orders. Even a police officer was patiently waiting for his order to be ready. I would recommend this place and would frequent this restaurant if I lived in Bellevue.

I personally enjoy that they use fresh pineapple on their Hawaiian so I will go for that if I don't get a salad. Also, I love that they don't punish you for wanting water since they automatically leave water cups out. The water comes out from the machine so cold and refreshing. It's the small things!

We shared a pizza and ordered two pasta dishes, and they even let us order a full bottle of wine instead of just a glass. Today's special pizza featured a pistachio sauce--it was creamy, refreshing, not overly salty, and served in a generous portion for one to two people. The pizza dough itself have very strong firewood aroma, which is lovely. We ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese, and the unique, wide pasta truly set it apart from what you typically find at other restaurants. Since we were still hungry, we also tried the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, which came with spicy sausage. While I expected more of a vodka flavor, the bold kick of the spicy sausage made it intriguingly flavorful. We couldn't resist today's special dessert, the Panna Cotta. It had a distinctive gelatinous texture and even looked cute as it jiggled on the plate. This cozy spot is perfect for a date or a girls' night out--ideal for sharing a bottle of wine and enjoying the authentic Italian ambiance.

The server on the floor did not even acknowledge us when we came in, as we were entering, she was tossing an empty pizza box near another guest. We stood at the front desk, waiting to be acknowledged until my husband asked if we see ourselves or Weat to be seated she briefly just looked up and said "yah" as if we were bothering her. As we walked to a selected table, we noticed tables around us. We're not clean had crumbs and parts of food. They have customer parking underneath, across from the QFC. Overall they were really friendly in inviting us in, bringing water, and letting us use the space for puzzles. For me specifically, they ...kind of dropped the ball on all of it. One person told me she'd bring me a menu once I was seated, but proceeded to pass me by when handing out menus (maybe because I already had water? Unclear. I tried to flag her down but she either didn't see me or ignored me). When I got up to ask about it, a different person just looked expectantly for me to order. When I told her I hadn't received a menu yet, she just gestured at the to go menu on the counter. When the pizza came, there were no napkins or utensils or anything given to me either. Throughout the whole hour and a half I was there, no one so much asked how I was doing despite that seeming to be standard for all the parties around me (including another one with only one person, so it wasn't because I was a Singleton working on puzzles!). The pizza I got was the aggressive mushroom one, which was great on mushrooms but oddly overly sweet, so I probably wouldn't get it again. The texture of the pizza was great though. Overall, the place was nice for puzzles and the food was good (just not what I expected for my order, but that's not really their fault). It was just a really weird night of service of feeling like they were snubbing me for no reason. It would be different if that's how they treated everyone or at least everyone who was puzzling solo, but the other person at my same table who was working solo got much better and nicer service than I did. :/
