31. Greek Fries

Another quick bite place in Factoria that I enjoy. Food is fresh, service is fast, portion is generous and friendly staff. The Greek fries are very tasty and definitely could be shared with 3 other folks. The shawarma platter with gyros, rice, hummus + pita and salad gives you something of everything. The portion is also very generous and I almost finished it. We ordered another side of hummus because it is so good. Tangy and creamy. The only area I would love to see 'improvement' is using compostable utensils.

- delicious gyro - Despite living in this area for more than 10 years, I've never stepped in this store until today when I craved for some gyro. I ordered the classic gyro with lamb for $11 and hubby got the shawarma plate with lamb for $19. I got the text right away for pickup time, but no other information was given such as the order number. The store had a group of customers dining at the time when I went to pick it up. I showed the cashier the text and got my takeout right away. I can't really critique Mediterranean food that well as I rarely eat them, but the gyro was delicious. The plate definitely had more food, and my husband couldn't finish the meat and rice (so I helped lol). I wasn't really a fan of the hummus, but it's just a small part of the shawarma plate. It's overall a good takeout experience. I'd order from them again when I want a gyro/shawarma.

This place never seems to disappoint me. The food is good as usual and the service is impeccable and always greet you with a smile. I experiment with some of the sandwich and they always let me without extra charge, and they even gave me free extra beef. I am so thankful that there's actually an amazing gyro place right next to my job. And yeah they recently remodeled this place a bit and looks nice, give them a try.

Stopped by with a few friends the other day and had a great experience!! The service was extremely friendly to my friends and I, and the portions were huge. Also, we were served very quickly and greeted with smiles. The restaurant is very clean and well-kept inside. The food was great!! I got the chicken gyro plate and enjoyed the well-seasoned chicken, rice, side salad, and hummus side I asked for. The Greek fries are AMAZING. Definitely grab a side of those with your order. Overall: would definitely come back for quick lunches and dinners for delicious, big portions of Greek food.

Friendly owner, fresh foods! Food was very regionally priced and out fast.. not much for ambiance as it is very small place but have some picnic table outside

Inside looking out. Half seats close to front door.

Very good, clean and great service. Don't hesitate and go now! My hubby is very picky about food in terms of the yummy factor and it is hard to find a place he wants to return to and this is a place he wanted to go back to the next day!! He said it is the best falafel he has ever had! And while we were there, another customer went out of his way to go up to the counter and tell them it was the best FALAFEL he had ever had!! I had the salad with chicken and my son had a chicken plate and we all loved our food...which is rare!! They have a lot of gluten-free options, as well as vegan options and can make many things dairy-free. The service was great too. You can tell they really care about customers. If it is cold out, note that if you sit by the door and the way it opens into the restaurant, you will constantly get a breeze and be cold. So sit or dress accordingly. :) We will be back (a lot). Enjoy!!

It was my first time here and I ordered the falafel platter at $17. They give you a huge amount of food and you'll leave full. The Greek salad was fresh with great dressing. The falafel was extra crispy and flavorful and the hummus was some of the best I've tasted. Lots of customers came through the door and the platters were generously loaded with meat. The air is filled with the sounds of sizzling meat and Arabic music. The interior was clean and the employees nice. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving Greek food.

Shawarma Platter and falafel side

I'm a big fan of Mediterranean food and was looking for Greek options to try in the Factoria area, and the Greek Pita popped up as an interesting option to try! I've been to the Greek Pita three times now - twice in the restaurant and once on takeout. The service is fast as every time I've been to the restaurant, there's not too many customers and I'm served immediately. The ambiance of the restaurant is casual dining with half chairs and booths propped up at the entrance of the restaurant. I have had a decent variety of things I've tried at the restaurant, from gyros, to dolmas, to falafels, and baklava. I think on average, you would spend about $12 - $25 for a small bite to a hearty meal here. I'll give my thoughts on the shawarma platter and falafel that I attached to this review. The meat in this plate is very meaty and hearty! Which is really filling - personally the slices are a bit thick in my opinion, and I would have preferred slightly thinner slices, but they were delicious. I like how in the platter they give you a good variety of things to switch around from, as switching from the salad as a palate cleanser from the sourness in the dressing is nice. The falafel was unfortunately a bit too hard - I also understand that falafels are more on the drier side, but this was too dense for me. If you are into this style of falafel, by all means go for it! Overall, if you are looking for a decent place to try some decent Mediterranean food at an affordable price, the Greek Pita is a solid option.

The Greek fries are 10/10. I love grape leaves so I get them almost everytime whenever I eat Greek food.

Ambiance: No one was sitting down on a weekday evening. There is a number of 2 seater tables and a few 4 people tables. The music they play hear is really loud, hard to hear each other over the music. There's also some metal chairs outside. Service: Food can take a bit, but the people working here are friendly. Food: For all the vegans out there: there's 5 entree options on the menu, nice to see multiple items! Mixed vegetable gyro- Had falafel and cauliflower, both were cooked quite well. The falafel had a great taste, and the sauce tied it all together. One of the better falafels I've had, would recommend.

Chicken Shawarmah ($10)

I was craving Greek food during my lunch break today and decided to give Greek Pita a shot. As a recent alumni from UW where the Greek food options are plentiful and open late, I miss having tasty shawarma and Greek fries within a walking radius. I've previously tried Greek Express in Factoria Mall, but I can't say I was super impressed. I've also tried Garlic Crush in Issaquah (note that Garlic Crush is a chain), and was disappointed by the dry pita bread they serve with their dishes. I arrived at around 12:15pm and they had a line packed in the store. As noted in previous Yelp reviews, there are only two guys working behind the counter but man are they quick and efficient! I ordered a Chicken Shawarma ($10) and was in and out the door less than 5 minutes after ordering! I originally wanted my shawarma on a whole wheat pita, but they were out and so I just got plain white pita. One person in front of me got a Factoria Platter (a huge serving of crinkle cut fries with your choice of meat and covered with Greek sauce and feta cheese- this was the stuff my friends and I used to get on The Ave after a big night out aka hangover food). For $14, it's definitely a sizable meal for sure. I contemplated getting a side of baba ghanoush but thought better of it since it was $9, almost the same price as my sandwich. My shawarma was packed with meat and tasty hummus and garlic sauce. The vegetables were fresh too and added a nice crunch to the sandwich. The chicken wasn't dry like other reviewers have stated, but it was also coated in sauce so that probably helped. While some reviewers have stated it's enough for 2 meals, I would say it's enough for 1 meal and maybe a late afternoon snack. Service again was quick and efficient. The guys working there are very friendly and know how to get you in and out of the door during your lunch break. This is not a place to sit, in fact, I don't even know if you can sit. Everyone did takeout. $10 for a sandwich is pretty pricy, but also comparable to other Eastside prices so I can't say it's outrageous. If the sandwiches were $7-$8 I'd be coming here far more frequently, but can't ask for much in this economy. The only thing I didn't like about the place was that they use styrofoam takeout boxes which aren't environmentally friendly. Overall: 4/5 for food, 4/5 for service

This is so unfortunate because I really genuinely love the breads here. But this is a review…read morespecifically about an experience I had like a month ago. I pre-ordered the high fiber bread scheduled for pick up on Monday. It was on the menu online and it accepted my payment, and considering it's a pre-order I assumed everything was good to go and they would make my order ready by Monday. I get to the store on Monday in a mad rush because I'm trying to pick up this high fiber bread to take home for my father in law flying back to Taiwan. So I literally made the trip just to get the bread in the morning and then rushed home to take him to the airport. I get to the store and apparently one of the managers said they tried to call me... at 6:30/7AM in the morning leaving me a voicemail on that same Monday I went to pick up the bread.... Basically saying they can't fulfill my order because the high fiber is not something they make on Monday??? I mean first of all, why are you taking preorders online then? Second of all, why is your online system allowing us customers to order and place in the cart if it's not available on Monday? Isn't that the point of preorder? So you know ahead of time what bread to make for customers? He then had the audacity to say... all our *regular customers* know our bread making schedule. It changes daily. Well, first of all, excuse me for not being a *regular* as in there's apparently some elitist exclusive group at great harvest bread. Also, though I'm not a *regular*, I do purchase breads from here for visitors etc from time to time and am well aware that the breads they make change daily WHICH IS WHY I PREORDERED. I was pretty upset about the whole ordeal and he compted me a Dakota bread which I don't even like. *eye roll* I think they seriously need to work on customer service etiquette and to edit their website so that it's not misleading. If you aren't able to provide the bread listed online, then don't enable it for preorders and waste our time commuting only to leave empty handed. Factoria is an extremely busy area too with heavy traffic in the morning. I was breaking a sweat trying to get from A to B on time What a complete disappointment. Please note this is not a review for the quality of their bread, but for the disappointing customer service and lack of transparency in their website. It's completely misleading...
