Came here to try the gyro and was not dissapointed. The food was solid, nothing special but great for the price. Hummus was actually really good too. Service was pretty standard, nothing outstanding about it, nothing terrible about it. There's a good amount of seating inside for groups of typical size (4 people). Ambiance is pretty standard.

Gyro Plate: This is a flavorful dish with good rice and tender meat. There was a good amount of sauce and hummus. It came with lentil soup (or fries), which was yummy and creamy. It also came with warm pita bread, which was soft and tasty with the hummus. Chicken Kebab Plate: My boyfriend got this and loved it (I didn't even get to try any). He chose fries, which were well seasoned and not too crispy.

Decent and quick convenient food. Packed flavor that typically comes with Mediterranean shawarma food.

Love this place for a quick and casual Mediterranean food. The price point is perfect and the portion sizes are actually quite large. The chicken shawarma sandwich was so big. I had a hard time finishing it. The classic Gyro was stuffed with tons of Gyro strips, although it was difficult to share with another person. We also got the Fries, lentil soup, Greek fries as well. They were kind enough to give extra garlic sauce too. The service was really great and they came over and served everything to our table even though it's a pretty casual place to eat. Garlic crush is one of my go two places when I'm craving something quick, easy, and yummy.

Always a safe Mediterranean place. Food is generally above average, the place and atmosphere is generally below average. What is going well with Garlic crush is that it is open but late at night - so kind of gives you another option apart from Indian and Mexican Cuisine. The service is generally quick here. I tried Dolma, Garlic Fries and Kebabs Sandwich. Sandwich was decent and fries was too salty. But however what really stood out was Dolma - really really amazing.

The gyros are so good from here !!!! Specifically gyro plate. I will say I miss when their portions were a bit bigger but the amount isn't too bad :/ Naan pita bread IS TASTY. Service is nice and consistent. Atmosphere of the place has outside and inside tables. Definitely a family favorite.

I'm so glad that I came to Garlic Crush for dinner during my stay in Bellvue! The food was cooked to order, and I appreciate the time (about 15 minutes) it took to prepare a delicious and fresh meal. I wish I could return to the restaurant just to have the garlic fries; these were an absolute standout! It was the perfect combination of crispy fries, cheesy goodness, and garlic that packed a subtle punch. The salad that I had along with my gyro had a simple yet beautiful dressing that I wish I could have bottled up and taken home. The chicken gyro had tender meat, veggies, and a was wrapped in a sizable pita. It was such a filling meal that I couldn't finish my meal. I thoroughly enjoyed Garlic Crush and hope to return.

The Shawrma is soooo baddd, the garlic sauce is so salty, chicken is dry and burned. Same thing with the garlic fries the garlic sauce is so salty and bad. Generally worst shawrma experience I've ever had

If you're in the area, you've gotta check this place out. I work security nearby and honestly, I end up here all the time because the food is always incredible--never fails to hit the spot. Whether it's a quick lunch or I'm in the mood for something a little more indulgent, it's consistently awesome. The staff is the greatest. They're super friendly and you can tell they really appreciate their customers. Every time I walk in, they make me feel like a regular, even if it's only been a few days since my last visit. It's just that kind of place where you feel valued, and you can't beat that kind of vibe. Can't choose which one I like more..

There a few spaces for this location in a bigger shared parking lot. A couple of spaces marked as Garlic Crush are free but the other spaces are in a paid parking lot. You order at the counter and can sit at 1 of 6 inside tables or when it is nice there are 3 or 4 outside tables or take it to go. Once you place your order, the food comes out fairly quickly. The lentil soup was probably my favorite item - it was yummy and not too hot with a good creamy flavor. I ordered the gyro plate with also comes with hummus and a side (you can choose fries, lentil soup or a salad). I got the fries and they were good and a little crunchy but a bit salty. The gyro meat was good- I really enjoyed it.

What is this ? I need to compose my plate ?

Not sure if it's worth the price. I got the meat combination and all of the meat were burnt, overcooked, chewy, and tough to eat.

Yalla is a walk up window, and there are just a couple of benches right outside where you can eat, and according to other reviews you can also go to Montana Bar next door with your food. The menu is posted in a couple places right next to the ordering window, and it's pretty easy to parse. Almost everything there is what I'd consider a "portable food", meaning something you don't need a plate, fork, and knife to eat, which makes sense given that it's not a sit down restaurant. They have veggie saj, meaty saj, mezze, a few sides, and a dessert. I really like their concise menu. We tried the baba ghanoush ($9.5), which comes with saj on the side, a batinjan and labneh saj wrap ($12), and a halloumi grilled cheese (halloumi grilled inside saj, $13). As you can tell, the saj underpins everything at Yalla, and their saj is excellent. Warm, soft, flaky, and tearable, it is perfect for both dipping and wrapping and grilling. The batinjan and labneh wrap is bursting (literally) with tender grilled eggplant, a rich sauce, and tangy, creamy labneh. It is truly one of the most delicious eggplant dishes I've ever had. The halloumi grilled cheese definitely hits the spot, and is more filling than you think by looking at it. Baba ghanoush is so smooth and flavorful, and I love the pomegranate seeds on top! The folks who work there are super nice, very friendly, and food comes out quickly. Prices are very reasonable, and I will definitely be back to try some of their meaty saj! This place is going into my regular rotation, for sure.

This…read morewas exciting to me as I enjoy food from the Middle Eastern part of the world, and the entrees do look very enticing! We went on a Saturday around 2pm and it wasn't too busy at the takeout window. The restaurant is only takeout - there are benches right next to the takeout window, but there are only enough spots for 8 - 12 people (2-3 people per bench). The only other seating is at the nearby street seating offered by the neighboring bars, which I can see being restricted during peak hours. Parking can be very difficult if you plan on driving, there is only street side parking that is usually full, and nearby paid parking in lots. Service is fast, after we got our order, we only waited 5-8 minutes for our food. We got their recommended Soujouk (Beef) and Cheese Wrap for $16. The wrap is long, I would say about 13 - 14 inches long, and I can definitely seeing most people getting full after enjoying one of these. The flavors are nice and you can taste the spices from the sausage - I could taste cinnamon front and center with other earthy spices lingering in an aftertaste. The wrap is very decadent, the cheese is hearty and indulgent and that with the spiced sausage and textural difference with the cucumbers is pleasing. Do note with how indulgent this wrap is, you will accumulate a ton of oil in your wrapper as you enjoy it - a nap afterwards is in your future if you eat a whole wrap! I think that Yalla Seattle is a good stop to try these cuisines in a casual manner and the price is reasonable. There are some other items on the menu that kept my attention and I would totally revisit to try the other items offered by this restaurant.

On one super rainy day, my partner and I were walking by and spontaneously decided to go up to the little window and get one lamb gyro the guy at the window, who I didn't know was the owner, looked at us weird and at first I was like ???? but after 5 min of prepping our order he calls us back to the window and hands us TWO gyros and says "you can't just get one! there are two of you! you won't feel full!" and he hands us both, one on the house I was so shocked it was so kind and unexpected of him. We ended up eating outside right under the window and 2 min later the owner walks out with a slice of bread and starts feeding the ducks outside the store. He told us that they're a couple and that they come by every year to lay eggs and they visit him every night for dinner during this time. He also told us that Cedars of Lebanon has been open for over 40 years and that it used to be so rowdy and exciting. So many people would gather around and spend time in his restaurant but now it's a lot quieter (I'm assuming this is because new, more novel places have been popping up on the Ave). I left this conversation so touched and full of love for this man, I genuinely wish him the best. His unprompted kindness towards a complete stranger and willingness to spend time chatting with us alone makes this place 5 stars for me, so many places lack this kind of passion and love that we could really use more of. this happened almost a year ago but I wanted to share my experience to highlight how wonderful of a man the owner is, hopefully we can continue to have nice things and no one abuses his kindness anyway I wanna go back and try their falafel apparently it's super good

Service was slow ngl, however, the old couple running the place were sooo cute I can excuse it. They were so friendly, warm, and nice; it gave off auntie and uncle vibes. Another customer in front of me must've been a regular because when the customer made conversation at the takeout window, I heard one of the workers go "We love you, John!!!" I was surprised how "small" the order of tabbouleh salad was. For $6.50 it was just 2 bites. It was basically a thin layer spread on the bottom of the box. I used to order this and it was probably 3x the amount. The beef shawarma plate was ok. I used to love their rice but it didn't taste the same. Their hummus is very good. The beef was a little dry and cut very thin. I didn't think it was worth $30 (before tip). At least their hummus is always good and consistent.
