Custom Greek salad, Greek fries

I have been a customer of Sammy's Mr. Gyros food truck for over 4 years. I love his food so much, I will drive across town just to get it from the food truck. Sometimes for lunch and dinner on the same day! His Greek fries are by far the best I've ever had and Greek fries are one of my favorite thing to eat. Also, his salad dressing is to die for! So fresh. Sammy's customer service is like no one else. He knew my extremely customized order by heart only the second time I ever came to his truck. That to me, is incredible. He sees my car coming and my food is fresh and ready when I show up to the window every time greeted with a hello and a smile. He is a great guy with even better food!

Lamb Gyro Salad with Pita ($9.99).

A Mediterranean food truck offering classic dishes such as gyros, falafels, and salads. The business also has a couple of restaurants in the Greater Seattle area. ----- Lamb Gyro Salad with Pita ($9.99). The meat was tender and nicely seasoned. The salad was fresh and the accompanying pita bread was two small slices. It's not that filling of a meal, but portion was adequate enough. -----

Mr. Gyro food truck is a staple at the Northgate Plaza Polyclinic. Consistent, reliable, and incredibly kind service is what you will encounter when walking up to the truck. The food is delicious, filling, and nutritious. My personal favorite is the falafel plate, but you can't go wrong with any menu item. Seeing Sammy and eating the food he provides is always a highlight of my week. Come for the food, leave with a smile and soul warmth.

Chicken gyro plate

Sammy's truck is AMAZING. The food is so well done! I love the different protein options and the Greek fries!!! Gyro plate is by far my favorite. Sammy is so kind and provides top notch service and is always so cheerful. I look forward to seeing him on our campus on Fridays and literally crave this food!!!

This place is a triple threat- fresh, quick and friendly service! I ordered the chicken gyro, side salad and greek fries. All were delicious, well-seasoned and ready in just a few minutes. Usually I drown my gyros/shawarmas with garlic sauce but the flavor was great and didn't need to! The side salad had romaine as well as cabbage which added a nice crunch and heartiness. Delish- will be back!

a hot dog and french fries

I wouldn't go there again. 20$ for a gyros and a side of greek fries (which were literally 10 fries and cost $4.5), with 15% tips. The gyros didn't even have real chicken, it was a weird tasting meat, almost like canned chicken. I expected something completely different. The size of the gyros is also not that big.

Donor plate with beef/lamb as protein. Fries underneath

Actually brought lunch to work, but saw someone have the donor plate and decided to grab a bite. 10/10 did not regret. Donor plate with beef/lamb hit the spot and I definitely did not need extra meat to feel full. Meat was well seasoned and may be a bit salty for people not used to the cuisine, but very delicious. Only gripe would be I'd want my fries to be just a bit more crispier. Definitely check it out if the food truck comes. For $10, the donor plate is a pretty decent lunch option

Taqueria Guadalajara is my favorite taco spot on Eastside, if not so far in Seattle. I have been to…read morethis taco food truck numerous times last year and a half, vistin during week days, weekends, holidays - during day time, night time, etc. And I can say that every time that I have been here, the food has slapped! Located in the lot of a 76 gas station, this food truck may look unsuspecting, but serves up some delicious tacos at an affordable price. It's convenient too! Located near a Fred Meyer and a Asian Family Market, you can get your groceries and then you can fill up your car and eat some bomb tacos right after! There are so lots just around the gas station that people have parked at just to get these tacos. Service is fast, you place your order at the window, and you will get your tacos in 5-10 minutes. You will get your order on a paper plate, which usually means the food will be amazing or bad - luckily in this case, it's amazing. The tacos themselves are no frills and are juicy, flavorful, and very pleasant in terms of texture to eat. Though I have tried every other option they had for filling - I am a big fan of their lengua and their cabeza! Their lengua is tender and diced into soft bite-sized pieces, and gives a fall apart meaty texture. The cabeza is rich and melts away as you chew it, with some scrumptious leaner pieces of the meat that give the taco some integrity so it allows for you to feel the decadence and then give you something solid to hold onto - it's great. The meat themselves aren't salted very much, but still have a delicious subtle aromatic taste to them. They are complimented very nicely by the salsas they have - a salsa verde, and a spicier salsa that is made with habanero - I could easily down 5-6 tacos every time I have visited. You will probably spend $2-3 per taco depending on what cut of meat you want - I feel that the tacos are priced very fairly priced vs. the average taco you can get in Seattle currently. Not many other reviews have mentioned this - but I have also tried their Sweet Corn Tamales for $3. Their tamales are great! They are the perfect amount of sweetness and give a forward sweet corn flavor. The texture is exactly like eating a slightly sweeter corn bread. A very affordable price for a dessert where most desserts (especially tamales) cost $6-$8. This is one of the few food trucks that I have been to where not only is the food good, but the prices are what you would expect tacos to cost. I don't think I can write more about how great this Food Truck is, as the tacos here are definitely ranked the top in my mind for tacos I've tried here in Seattle so far. I would recommend if you are in the Overlake Shopping Area to check this place out!

IMPORTANT NOTE. The gas station lot they were parked in is gone as it is under construction. I…read morethink a car wash is coming in. However good news - look directly across the street and you will find it. it is one of the better taco trucks and OMG they are the nicest and most mellow folks running it these days. Very convienient.

I stepped up on my turn and ordered a Three Pigs burger - Single patty, lettuce, maple aioli and slices bacon. It was surprisingly sweet and held together nice. Also, a side of fries which are alright, nothing too outstanding. I'd absolutely get burgers from them again, particularly because by the time I approached the truck several of their other specialty burgers were sold out which include "The King" burger which as won an award and features peanut butter and raspberry jam and the "Cryfecta" which includes jalapeno's giving it some spice. I heard all the negative things (putting it nicely) that you were saying about the order in front of me. Your customer service was short and curt. Not sure if you were having a bad day or if you were overwhelmed but your attitude definitely indicated as such. You had such a snotty attitude for the couple that simply asked for a bun. You just weren't nice. I almost left the line but again it had nothing to do with the food.

This burger was so good. Note that it's a tall stack. I had to squish the buns together to make this bite-able.

I don't often get any Mexican food on the Eastside since I just haven't found a good one yet. And sadly, I have to admit that I still have not found any worth the drive across the lake. I ordered one of their burritos, hefty pricing but that's what you'd expect on this side of town. Not the heftiest burrito though for its price, but filling enough. Taste wise it was as a Yelp 3 Star describes, "OK". I've had a lot of Mexican food across the whole West Coast, and this one isn't any special. But of course I will have to try again another day.

The steamed bun was alright, the bun itself was a little boring; I'm used to fluffier buns with a tiny hint of sweetness to the buns. The spicy beef filling wasn't too bad. I feel like small ones are hard to perfect but this was so crispy on the exterior, not overly oily, perfectly sweetened and balanced by the nuttiness of the sesame seeds. The shu mai was also top tier as it was packed with so much pork and shrimp, no fillers detected like flour or anything! So juicy and flavorful and paired excellent with the Lao gan ma-like chili oil they provided. I hope they come to farmer markets closer to Seattle!
