1st off portion size compared to price. Ok I get it, out-skirts of pricier Eastside. But come on, I work in Kent, live in Sea, and own a business on the Eastside. I get Excellent Bhaklava for $1.70 per piece, almost same size from an Afghan/ Iraqi Store/ Deli in Kent strip mall next to my office. I buy 3 pieces twice a week(!). This place charges 2.5x more for soggy baklava & stale pastry dough, too much fluid/ honey & soggy pistachios. The spanokopita was even worse, dry, small portion, no flavor. The gyros are only average. Nothing to write home to your mother about, and also overpriced. Good, authentic greek food that is a good value is hard to find. I was hoping this place would be my next goto gyro place but was sorely disappointed. read more

It's been a while since I rated them! The meat is now more standard; maybe even a little on the thin side. We all really liked the lamb/beef gyro meat. The hummus is a little chunkier, and you can add extra meat for currently $2 per Oz. There is a wide variety on their menu, still. The baklava was perfection. Drinks come with one free refill. I swear these guys have the best gyro in town, and I've tried a lot of them. They put plenty of meat in the gyros and don't skimp on the toppings. I always get the combo with the Greek Fries and sometimes the fries are a little over-cooked, but the taste is always there. I've had some bad luck in ordering delivery from them, however. Maybe it's not their fault, but I've had delivery multiple times where the drink was missing, or the baklava, or something from the order. I have been here twice now while driving through the area. This place serves up amazing gyros. Delicious and moist meat, flavorful soft pita bread, and fresh vegetables. I love that they put the tzatiki (sp) sauce on the side and after eating it you dont have a stomach ache from too much garlic. Everything is spot on. The garlic feta fries are amazing too. Prices were reasonable and service was quick. Not the most friendly female working but not rude either. I wish they would offer bigger water cups. I had to get up 3 times to keep up with my thirst while eating. They are barely bigger than dixie cups. One last thing......WHY are you trying to use pin up models with big juicy red lips to sell Gyros? (they have suggestive posters in the restaurant with "hot" women eating gyros suggesting you have one too". UM, I am in the store, I am most likely eating Gyros. I am already buying them. I am no prude but seriously? If you sell good food, you dont need the over the top 80's ridiculous "suggestive" posters. Get rid of them and class the place up a bit. We will be back. read more

This is by far the worst experience I have had in a restaurant lately. I ordered a falafel gyro. It came out with partially cooked falafel. If you know falafel, you know that you do not want to eat raw falafel dough. I took it back to the front and explained that the falafel was not cooked. The woman told me, "Yes, it is cooked. It is good. It tastes good." No offer to re-cook, refund, or make me something else. Twelve dollars for a gyro I couldn't eat. Terrible customer service, not to mention that undercooked food is a health hazard. If you enjoy raw falafel dough, I suppose you would enjoy eating here. Even though I've been in the area for years, today was the first time I visited this local shop. The lamb gyro was... Simple perfect. I couldn't be happier with the food. It was so tasty. After what seemed to be an interminable wait with the 'Opening Soon' sign out front the local Gyro World is finally operational. This is a welcome and long overdue replacement for the Orexi restaurant that closed years ago. Maybe not quite so upscale, but I'm OK with that. They do have gyros to go! Seems like a little bit of start-up blues were in place. One guy behind the counter clearly knew what he was doing, the other guy was a bit tentative. Somebody just ahead of me had placed a large order (apparently for her tribe-sized family.) They were cranking it out in assembly line fashion, when the new guy realized that he had put onions on gyro #2 rather than gyro #3. Rather than just switching them (the quick thing to do) he meticulously removed the onion bits one by one with tongs from gyro #2 and moved them gyro #3. (Cue the rumbling stomach.) I go to Gyro World for lamb gyros to go. I've literally ordered nothing else (except for a can of soda, once). I've had the shredded lamb and I've had the shaved lamb/meat/mixture. For shredded lamb gyros to go, I consider them to be five stars. When you order to go, they wrap them tightly with the perfect amount of tzatziki sauce, which they put in a SEPARATE container. No squishy mess. Nice. I love this place for lamb gyros. Flavor is what I would expect - nothing better or worse than anywhere else. Foods mediocre and I was super disappointed by their Greek fries. I was expecting feta cheese and ketchup on my fries but it was just shredded cheese on fries. I got their chicken gyro which was pretty dry and not much flavor. Online for the gyro combo it was priced as 11.10 but I was charged 15 before tax. Although the food is affordable, I'd rather pay more somewhere else. I won't be going back again. read more
