Nothing crazy. was not the biggest fan of their sauce, I found it a bit too watery. The veggies were a little bitter which clashes with the other flavors. The meat was good! Once I picked out the lettuce, I was able to really appreciate how well cooked that lamb was. Overall, I would say I understand why people stop here for a quick lunch, but I probably wouldn't recommend it if given the choice to go to other greek places. read more

I had a gyro sandwich for the first time today at this place. The shopping center was very clean. The parking lot was great with lots of nice size parking spots. The restaurant was clean. My friend and I were definitely a bit nervous as there weren't many people in it and the "open" sign was turned off. But we decided to go and try it anyways after discovering that they were actually open. Customer Service: The employee there was super friendly, accommodating and funny! I have bad eyesight and took forever with ordering, but he was super nice and even asked me if I'd like certain sauces and put them into to-go containers for me. Food: I got the Shawarma Platter + 4 piece Falafel. The shawarma platter is such a great portion for the cost and it tastes really good! The falafel was super super amazing and my friend and I couldn't even wait to take a photo before we snatched up a piece. We stopped in for lunch last week at Greek Pita and had a nice meal. The employees are always very friendly. The classic gyro was very good. Maybe a little bit much lettuce filler for my taste, but I just took some out and it was perfect. It's not my favorite gyro in town but it's definitely up there. The meat is cut a little bit thick, I like it a little thinner but that's just a personal preference. The real star of the show are the greek fries with their garlic sauce on top. Those were well worth the money. I will agree a bit with previous reviews that mention the cleanliness...I don't know that it's dirty per se but the all-white interior definitely means that anything stands out and it's not a place I'd normally stay and eat, but it's great for takeout. read more

Underrated for, this place tastes like you've been flown to Greece first class. The Greek fries are loaded to perfection, not too much sauce, but not skimpy either. This is a nice hidden gem of an establishment. The owner was really sweet and helped out with the menu as first timers. The food was flavorful and the portions are big! I wouldn't mind becoming a regular here. The restaurant itself is rather small and when I originally walked in, it was empty to where I didn't even know if they were open. I've been looking for a good Greek place since moving to Bothell and so happy I decided to try Greek Pita. I ordered online through Door Dash and the food was ready in less than 10 minutes. The guy working was friendly and quick. It definitely appears to be a takeout only spot, I don't think I would choose to sit in and dine there. The food was great and really large portions. I got the gyro platter, the flavors were really good. There were some parts of the rice that seemed a little stale/stuck together but mostly good. I also always get a side of falafel when I try a new spot so I can test it out. It is very flavorful, tons of yummy spices. It was a bit dry but nothing some sauce can't fix. The Greek fries are incredible. So delicious! But a huge portion which I will take several meals to finish so I'm sure they'll get soggy but that's not the restaurants fault. Absolutely awful. It seems like this place must have changed owners, and the place is not only absolutely filthy, the quality and taste of the food has seriously deteriorated to the point that we will NOT be visiting this establishment ever again. I would urge anybody considering this place to avoid it and go literally anywhere else. I have never been inside a restaurant this disgusting. Last time we went (a few days ago) i got a typical/classic gyro and it was not good. It was severely lacking in fresh vegetables and the tzatziki sauce was almost nonexistent. The pita bread was so hard and tough on the outer edges that i had to peel it off and not eat it. Yet, there was still plenty of pita left to wrap around the very modest amount of meat and vegetables. If not for the previously awesome gyros and other food here, i would have turned around and walked out of this place simply due to the filth. The windows are filthy (i swear, it looks like they MOPPED the windows). Every surface in the joint is sticky/tacky. The soda fountain is gross. This place needs a DEEP cleaning. Frankly, i was a little afraid i may become ill after eating here. Thankfully, i did not, but i was left incredibly unsatisfied by the garbage gyro. read more

This was seriously a great gyro. This is very close to the offices. I can't believe I've worked near here 6 months and didn't know this was here! The classic gyro: Traditional Lamb and Beef - $7.29 The classic gyro was also really fast and really filling. I'm being genuinely honest when I say that. This was filled to the brim with meat, meat and more meat. Then some cucumbers, red onions, and traditional tzatziki. Mmmmm oh so good! The guys behind the counter are great. Wow, all of the things I said in my previous review about the look and taste of the food were true. Looks good, decent sized portions. However, second visit shows that there's more lurking beneath the visible surface. You can't see it, you can't taste it, but your intestines will know that it was there. And they will not be shy in informing you of their unhappiness and distress. That said, I guess there is some level of consistency in that while the whole family each ordered different items, and we all got sick in the same way. We have a rule, regardless of what the food looks like or tastes like--if it actively makes us sick, the rating is dropped down to one star and the restaurant is given a DO NOT RETURN status. It's kind of a bummer, this place could've been a contender. But make us sick, even just once, and a single-star with a DO NOT RETURN mandate is the result. 50% of the time we visited the food was great, maybe you'll be luckier than we were. First time back after the pandemic. The place is filthy. Needs a complete scrubbing from top to bottom. My tray had dried ketchup on it. Had the gyro, it was ok. But the meat had been cut from the spit earlier in the day and was pulled from a steam table. Was not very warm. Should have been heated on the grill. Unassuming and straightforward, this Greek restaurant is a great find in the Bothell area. I was surprised with how much I enjoyed my visit! You can find Greek Pita in the Staples shopping strip, a few doors down from the Starbucks. Inside is a clean, open space with a few tables, bar seating and a couch and table setup in the back. Service is quick and friendly - I came with a group of about five people, and the staff moved through our orders pretty efficiently. We ordered a wide variety of dishes, from the classic gyro and mixed veggie sandwich to the Greek fries and gyro salad. I went with the gyro salad, which is basically like an open-faced gyro. :P At about $10, the portions are HUGE. They give you a Greek salad topped with a generous serving of your meat of choice (I went with beef & lamb!) And if you have a big enough appetite, I'd recommend a side of the Greek fries. Just picture hot fries covered in Tzatziki sauce, seasoning and feta cheese - YUM. Can't dine-in? Greek Pita will also gladly prepare your meal to-go. :) read more

I'm so sad to have to make this updated review as Greek Pita is my favorite Greek restaurant in the area (as per my previous rave review.) During this quarantine/stay at home order, we are doing our best to support local restaurants and small businesses. We ordered food last night (4/3/2020) through Grubhub. This was our second time using Grubhub to order at this restaurant and both times, they did not know about our order until we arrived. Apparently their tablet that accepts online orders is tucked aside away from their view. I ordered a Gyro Platter (which should include lamb and beef). When I ordered online, I was offered to "choose a side" so I selected Falafel. When my order came, I received 5 Falafel instead of the Gyro Platter that I paid for (which is $1 more than the Falafel Platter.) If I had wanted the Falafel Platter, I would have ordered it rather than selected it as a side. I also ordered 2 Gyro Sandwiches with no raw onion. Both sandwiches came with raw onion. Despite those issues, my concern really was the 1/8" shard of metal that my daughter found in her food. A few bites into her sandwich, she chomped down and bit into something very hard. Upon examination, it looks to be a clipped piece of metal wire. Even though a dentist is considered to be an essential business, it is still not the best time for an emergency dentist visit. It is a no brainer for us to stop using Grubhub for this particular restaurant, but I am reserved about calling in my order or returning even after the stores open up again. Though their food is delicious, I am apprehensive about ordering from them again. What are they doing in their kitchen that caused this metal piece to end up into the food? Was it in the lettuce? The bread? The meat? Since the piece was found in a wrap, it was impossible to tell. read more

This place deserves all the accolades my fellow Yelpers are giving it. Recommended by an employee at the adjacent Home Depot, my hubby and I came by here this afternoon for lunch. I had the classic gyro and he had the shawarma pita, and we split an order of Greek Fries. YUM. Good portions of meat on both sandwiches, fresh shredded lettuce, tomato, red onion and cucumber, and some REALLY tasty sauces on both. The Tahini on my husband's pita was up there with the best I've ever had. Also, the hot sauce they have on each table is DELICIOUS. Finally came back. Upgraded the rating to a 5. Nice people. Great tasting food. Popular at lunch time so get here before noon if you are avoiding the lunch rush. We had an issue with my debit card because I had to cancel it due to fraudulent charges the day prior. So the card didn't work. Fortunately my wife barely had enough cash on her.
