    2 asada, 2 cabeza, 2 carnitas

Just happened to be in the area when I had a taco craving. This place came up in my search so decided to test it out. The truck was parked in a little lot near the montessori and church. They were closed so just parked there. They had a nice covered seating area outside with christmas lights on it. I didn't see any Al Pastor so got a couple of the following meats: Cabeza (5): this is my favorite taco meat. very tender as usual with great flavor. Hard to get this one wrong and they did a good job. Asada (4): Fairly moist but still good flavor. Carnitas (4): Not too crispy, very greasy but still good flavor. They were all small street style tacos. All came with onion, cilantro, radish, and a couple jalapeno slices. 6 tacos were about $20. They gave roja and verde salsas. Both were decent. Overall, this tamed my taco craving. I wouldn't go out my way to come back, but if I were in the area, I'd hit it up again.

do you curse or moan when you encounter good food? Because I'll tell you, I did both. the beef cheek tacos were so flavorful, and the chicken was soft, melt-in-your-mouth heavenly. I drank that sauce at the end. I licked the paper plate, and then I wanted to eat the plate too because it still had flavor on it. Glad that your order comes out fast, and they're a bunch of friendly guys in a truck. I love that the seating area is covered, and the tables and chairs are kept clean (thank you guys!) I will drive through a dessert for these tacos. I will climb a mountain for these tacos, and I hate hiking. I will be back for more items on their menu, because this flavor is exceptional.

We're so lucky to be near such a tasty consistent taco truck. This spot has a roof for rainy days and also heat lamps to keep you toasty when needed. The portions are large and the options super delicious and flavorful. I do wish there was salsa, pico, onions etc that we could pick up for ourselves on the side, but getting them separately is no problem!

Holy shit this is the best tacos on the east side of Seattle no contest so far. Providing is also quite fair. Street parking around the truck. Cut approved Pro: get the lengua, carne asada, al pastor and you'll be set. Salsa and radishes fresher than any fade your barber can give you Cons: little long of a wait but you can't rush good food. Portions smaller than I would like.

Love this truck! The carnitas and lengua tacos are my favorite, so flavorful. The lengua is even better than one I've had from a street vendor in California! The horchata is yummy as well! Service is great. It's a truck of course, so you can sit at the tables they have outside or in your car if you choose to hang around. If you do sot outside they do have a heater though! Parking can be a bit tough if it's busy!

This is our favorite food truck in town! Staff is always kind and the food usually comes out pretty quickly. I think the longest I've ever waited was 7 mins. The food is also fantastic! We always get tacos but I recently tried the burrito as well and it was also really good. They're pretty established in a church parking lot and have covered searing and patio heaters for the winter. Definitely would recommend this place!

I'm always on the hunt for local taco trucks and this may be my new favorite! It's no surprise that in 2021, it was voted the 85th best place to eat in the US according to Yelp! Interestingly, this truck sits in a private lot, with reserved parking spaces and even a few tables of sheltered seating. A couple of the tables even had heat lamps above them, so we could comfortably eat outside on a chilly rainy day. These types of accommodations are so rare for a food truck, and I'm grateful that we were able to enjoy our tacos fresh rather than having to take them to-go. After ordering, our food was served relatively quickly and I could tell the meat and tortillas were hot off of the flattop. I got four tacos each with a different meat since I'm all about the variety! They are sold individually at $2.75 each. + CARNE ASADA: The beef was lean, tender and nicely grilled with a bit of char. + CABEZA: So succulent and the meat completely spoke for itself. No spices, salt nor salsa needed! + ADOBADA: This spiced marinated pork was perfectly savory, balanced with a slight sweetness. + CARNITAS: Unfortunately, this shredded pork was on the drier side and there wasn't a ton of flavor, so I sadly didn't love this one. For purposes of trying the salsas, I poured some on a couple bites of each taco, but none of them truly needed it except for the carnitas. The red one definitely packed a punch, while the green one was fresh and bright. The menu could use a redesign since some of it is permanently crossed out and a couple labels are peeling off the truck, but I can easily overlook that. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality of the food. They also have various snacks, treats and drinks for sale. I also can't help but mention that their truck even has a little sink station with soap, paper towels and hand sanitizer... they really have it all! Looking forward to coming back again the next time I'm craving tacos (which is often)! 4.75 stars.

This place was really good. I really like that avocados with the quesadillas. It was nice to meet the owner son and I found out they have three locations. Great service. ! quick service!

El Maestro has been on my list of food trucks to visit since they made Yelps top 100 list in 2021, so today was the day and it definitely lived up to my expectations. The sopes were perfectly prepared as were the toppings (chicken). Yep, super delicious delicious and now I can't wait to go back. They would have earned one of my rare 5 star reviews, except for the styrofoam takeout containers and plastic bag. The food warranted it, though. Everything was perfectly seasoned, without being too salty, which can be hard to find these days. And I loved the toppings and ever so slight crispiness to the sope.

Taqueria Guadalajara is my favorite taco spot on Eastside, if not so far in Seattle. I have been to…read morethis taco food truck numerous times last year and a half, vistin during week days, weekends, holidays - during day time, night time, etc. And I can say that every time that I have been here, the food has slapped! Located in the lot of a 76 gas station, this food truck may look unsuspecting, but serves up some delicious tacos at an affordable price. It's convenient too! Located near a Fred Meyer and a Asian Family Market, you can get your groceries and then you can fill up your car and eat some bomb tacos right after! There are so lots just around the gas station that people have parked at just to get these tacos. Service is fast, you place your order at the window, and you will get your tacos in 5-10 minutes. You will get your order on a paper plate, which usually means the food will be amazing or bad - luckily in this case, it's amazing. The tacos themselves are no frills and are juicy, flavorful, and very pleasant in terms of texture to eat. Though I have tried every other option they had for filling - I am a big fan of their lengua and their cabeza! Their lengua is tender and diced into soft bite-sized pieces, and gives a fall apart meaty texture. The cabeza is rich and melts away as you chew it, with some scrumptious leaner pieces of the meat that give the taco some integrity so it allows for you to feel the decadence and then give you something solid to hold onto - it's great. The meat themselves aren't salted very much, but still have a delicious subtle aromatic taste to them. They are complimented very nicely by the salsas they have - a salsa verde, and a spicier salsa that is made with habanero - I could easily down 5-6 tacos every time I have visited. You will probably spend $2-3 per taco depending on what cut of meat you want - I feel that the tacos are priced very fairly priced vs. the average taco you can get in Seattle currently. Not many other reviews have mentioned this - but I have also tried their Sweet Corn Tamales for $3. Their tamales are great! They are the perfect amount of sweetness and give a forward sweet corn flavor. The texture is exactly like eating a slightly sweeter corn bread. A very affordable price for a dessert where most desserts (especially tamales) cost $6-$8. This is one of the few food trucks that I have been to where not only is the food good, but the prices are what you would expect tacos to cost. I don't think I can write more about how great this Food Truck is, as the tacos here are definitely ranked the top in my mind for tacos I've tried here in Seattle so far. I would recommend if you are in the Overlake Shopping Area to check this place out!

Carne Asada Fries: Fries weren't as crispy as I'd like, but the toppings were solid. Beef was decently tender and they were generous with the amount of guacamole. It was my first time seeing beans on fries, but I thought it was pretty solid. Churros: These are definitely pre-made churros that get re-fried. I continue to be on the hunt for fresh churros in the Seattle area, but I wasn't mad at these. The custard had a nice mouthfeel and creamy sweetness, but the whipped cream was a little odd in that it didn't taste like anything at all. Mulitas: I wanted a little more meat in these, but they aren't bad. I like that some of the cheese crisps up a bit on the edges of the tortilla. If I was a little drunk, these would be elite.
