    Cadillac margarita

Looks are deceiving because each dish comes with a lot of food! The portions are huge and the margaritas are delicious. The service was great and very accommodating for a group of eight people. It was a bit expensive but fun to go out with friends and family. The parking can be tricky and you can ask the staff for free parking validation. And even with a large group, we were able to walk in and get a table on a weekday.

One of my favorite restaurants!! Great food, outside dinning was peaceful and they provided amazing service!!! I can't wait to come back!

Quite possibly the best restaurant IMO that has a plethora of vegetarian Mexican options! Had a really amazing dinner here-- possibly the best Mexican I have had in the city. Started with Horchatas and the street corn. Both were excellent. The tang of the street corn went nicely with the sweetness of the drink. Very fresh tortilla chips and salsa on the house. Guacamole was also fresh and delicious. For entrees we got fajitas, Enchiladas Jardin (my order and also highly recommended by our waiter Pablo), Burrito bowl, and Quesadilla Tapatia. Amazing food. The Enchiladas Jardin had a spicy habanero sauce topping which was just so flavorful. It was the star of the meal-- I think pretty much everyone else wished they had ordered this. Portions were just perfect as well. Fajitas came with a huge mix of vegetables like cauliflower, peppers, onions. Carrots, and mushrooms! Wrapped up the dinner with a supremely yummy Tres leches cake for dessert-- we demolished it in seconds. Excellent service by Pablo; great ambience. Come here if you want some top quality Mexican food! Get the Enchiladas Jardin! Period.

I have been here twice now and both experiences were good. It ended up being a recommendation from someone I know so I went into it assuming the food would be good. While the parking situation may not be the most obvious it was very easy once you figured it out. All you need to do is park below in the garage and register your license plate for a few free hours. They sit you down with a free bowl of chips and salsa which won me over both times. I love when restaurants do this. I ordered the carne asada both times and the steak came out great both times. While the rice and beans could definitely have been better with more flavor and salt, they were at least average at most. The menu is large with a lot of eye catching options. I am still very curious about the tacos and would go back to try them. They also had a lot of drinks options and some flights I would be interested to try. I think if in the area this is a worth while meal place to consider and even a casual date night place.

Decent neighborhood Mexican in downtown Bellevue with great service. We had different dishes to try, the fajitas are nice, the fish tacos good (could use some punchier sauce to pull it together), but the carnitas tacos and salad were a bit boring. They got a nice drink menu with some great alc free options. The billing system overcharged us over $18, so I'm glad someone in our group caught that, that should not happen. Parking is easy and free for 3h downstairs in their garage, just drive in, checkout through the QR code and apply the 3 free hours to your license plate.

Great Spot for Groups with Awesome Vibes and Fresh Flavors! We came to Cielo Cocina Mexicana for a pre-prom chaperone dinner with a party of 12 on a busy Saturday night, and I was seriously impressed. Even with the weekend crowd, the staff was super friendly and kept everything running smoothly for our big group. I ordered the ribeye chicharrón, which was so good -- juicy steak, creamy avocado, and bold flavors. I wasn't expecting it to come out as more of a dip, but honestly, it worked! And they were great about keeping the chips coming so I could keep enjoying every bite. I also had a virgin prickly pear mojito (no alcohol for me!), and it was delicious -- super refreshing, just the right amount of sweetness, and really pretty too. The vibe inside Cielo is bright, modern, and really fun. There's warm lighting, colorful decor, and big windows that make the space feel open and welcoming. It strikes that perfect balance between trendy and cozy -- great for a night out with friends or a special occasion. All around, it was a fun night with great service, tasty food, and a lively atmosphere. Definitely a solid spot in Bellevue -- I'd come back in a heartbeat!

For a group of 6 they say us pretty quickly! The food was really good, I mean honestly no notes from me since you can just never go wrong with some good tacos! Though certain areas did seem a bit tight knit and for some reason I had to go to a diff area for their restroom which was some experience I'd say. But if you and your family are around Bellevue and wanna eat some Mexican food, I'd definitely come over here and give it a shot.

This is always a stop when we visit Bellevue. Great apps and the fresh salsa has a kick. Lots of avocado dishes. Really good specials. A taco selection that's second to none. The waitstaff is always very attentive and quick without bothering you. Nice clean place in a good location with a good sized patio. We had the steak and shrimp fajitas, quesa birria, and an order of beef nachos. All were great!

This place is very pretty, and has quite decent Mexican food. Of course I haven't tried everything they offer, but what I tried was really good! I'd die to find a Mexican local place that serves churros stuffed with cajeta! The place was very busy the day I came in with a group of friends, but we enjoyed our server and the ambiance! This is definitely a place I recommend to family and friends!

    Enchiladas Guadalajara
    Erin H.

Cielo has a laid-back but elevated vibe with delicious food! I got the enchiladas Guadalajara, which I would recommend and wasn't spicy at all. The Horchata was also delicious and I had two glasses of that. The salsa that came with the chips was fresh and my whole table enjoyed our food - saying it had good flavor and was a good portion for the price. Service was friendly and tentative without being over your shoulder the whole time.

    Chicharrones appetizer
    Katrina M.

My favorite traditional Mexican food in the area! All the menu items you would expect including some good vegetarian options. Love their salsa here. Ordered a new menu item on the appetizers list, chicharrones in guacamole. It was good, but it was really more pork belly pieces versus chicharrones. Takeout is really easy from here. We did it a lot during the pandemic and still do on occasion.

One of the best Mexican restaurants. The service as quick and they were all very friendly. There were several groups watching the football game making it a very fun and relaxed setting. The food was amazing and tasted so fresh. 10/10, we will definitely be back!!

We did a belated Christmas gift exchange with friends recently and our friends made reservations here. So glad they did! It's literally right down in the main Bellevue Square hub, so we were able to easily park at the mall and make a short walk to Castilla. Vibes were perfect with low lighting but still a bustling atmosphere. Our server (unfortunately forgot his name) kept solid recommendations coming all night and was so funny and personable! As this is a tapas spot, we tried quite a few dishes and split them amongst the table. Mixta Paella: our server promised us that the smaller size paella was good for 2-4 people and man he was RIGHT. The portion was absolutely insane and I don't think we even finished all of it. Everything tasted so fresh and there was so much flavor to the dish. They warn you ahead of time, but plan for the paella to take 30 minutes for them to prepare. Grilled Octopus Leg: Every time I have octopus (which is two times now LOL) I'm a little worried about the texture, but it was prepared beautifully here and the sauce that it was in was delicious. Salmon & Artichoke Dip: I'm a sucker for any type of artichoke dip and this was no exception. Creamy, rich, and great flavor! Beef Medallions: Tender and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend. Chorizo & Onion Empanada: Another banger. So crispy and the filling was so good! I actually was on the fence about this one but my husband insisted, and it was a good choice. Patatas Aioli: Crispy layered potato with a garlic aioli? I mean, come on. You can't go wrong. Delicious. This was our first visit to Castilla and I'm sure it won't be the last - would definitely return if I'm dining up again in Bellevue!

You know, the kind of place where you sit down thinking, "We'll just have one drink," and suddenly it's three tequilas later and you're talking about your childhood dreams. Speaking of tequila... WOW. The tequila selection here is basically a library, and the bartenders are the very enthusiastic librarians. They know everything. My partner and I were lovingly escorted through a full tequila tour before our food even arrived, and honestly? By the time dinner showed up, life was beautiful and all decisions felt correct. Needless to say, we were having an excellent time. The food definitely holds its own too. Everything came out fresh, beautifully plated, and tasting like someone in the kitchen actually cares (which is always a plus). We split a few dishes, including the Carne Asada and the Pescado. The Carne Asada was good, though it could've used just a bit more seasoning, nothing tragic, just a gentle nudge from "good" to "wow." The Pescado, however, was fantastic. Topped with olives, capers, and tomatoes... I mean, how do you even mess that up? You don't. And they didn't. Bonus points: they're open late, until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. So if you find yourself wandering the streets of Bellevue after hours, questioning your life choices and craving tequila and good food, congratulations, you've found your place. Wasn't sure which sauce went best with which, but doesn't hurt to try? shell on shrimp and lobster claw were the second and third bests in my opinion. - Grilled Black-eyed Perch (4/5): got a smaller 1.2 lb fish. Can get it grilled and fried. Fried is ~$4 more. This fish was around 38-39/lb at the time of writing. Flavors were so great! Not a bony fish at all and didn't have to really pick at it. A tad dry in certain parts, but again, nice salty, zesty from the lemon and herbaceous. This place is definitely on the $$$ side, so can see ppl coming here for special occasions.

I love going to local brewpubs and microbreweries when traveling. So when I saw this location of…read moreBellevue's largest microbrewery, my wife and I had to stop in for an early lunch with a sampling of beers. The food and beers were great. As the name states, the very large brewpub is located in the Spring District, inside the park/greenspace. The district used to be an industrial area, that has been transformed into a mixed residential/retail area, centered around the light rail transit station. The brewery makes great use of the outdoor space, with a lot of seating for an impromptu biergarten on nice days. This Tuesday was a typical March day in Seattle, which meant dining inside was a must. We ended up finding street parking a couple of blocks away, though they do have validated parking: in the underground parking right below (with under 10 dedicated spots) and the bigger Spring district Parking garage nearby. Amanda was our server, and she was super friendly, giving us suggestions. They have a large selection of house brewed beers, and we chose eight of the non-IPA ones as two flights, consisting of 4 5oz glasses (assuming it cost $12). We tried the Harvest Boom P.O.G. Wheat (this was our favorite one), Bothell Brown (liked this one), Snake Charmer Irish Red (strangely very mild for a Red), ChugMeister Mazren Lager (my second favorite). Second flight consisted of 1882 Pre-Prohibition Lager (very crisp and light), Muckle Flugga Scotch Ale (really like Scotch Ale in general, though hard to find on the West Coast...thought this version was OK), Schwarzbier Black Lager (different, very mild, really enjoyed), and a Der Kommissar Pilsner (super light with no body). I don't think I've been able to choose two flights of non-IPA in-house beers before...they keep a very large selection here, and it's worth coming to, just for the draft beers. We ordered some bar food that both of us like, and each plate was excellent. Shareable thick cut fries ($11) was very filling, especially since they were fried very well and were sturdy enough for dipping. Got Scotch Ale Chili ($13) and it was hearty, with plenty of pinto beans and good ground beef, with not too much chili powder. It came with housemade tortilla chips, which were thin and excellent. Wanted to try their beef birria, ordered their birria Nachos ($19) and it was really well prepared. Everything was diced into small pieces, used a really good beer cheese sauce and the the fresh guacamole was solid. For a brewpub, it has excellent bar food. The portions were large...we ended up taking about half of it home. Next time, will stay longer and try some of their main course dishes. The room was modern with plenty of windows for natural light. The central bar is huge, but there are plenty of bar tables as well, letting patrons decide how they want to dine/hang. My only complaint was that the payment process was at the table with only a tablet, and gave me no chance to look at the receipt. The total seemed right and was expecting a chance for receipt, but Amanda grabbed the tablet after my tip and signature before I could ask for a digital receipt, and then disappeared. I suppose I could have tracked her down, but getting a receipt after a meal should not be that hard. Can't remember the last time I was out, and couldn't get a receipt easily...would have made this review a bit easier.

Awesome spot with plenty of seating inside and out! Family friendly outside of the bar area. Loud…read moreatmosphere with open seating. I loved the Southwest Chicken salad! The portion was huge, and the flavors mixed well. We were kinda tucked in a booth near the restrooms so service was sporadic, but still very friendly. There is a parking garage just underneath that they'll validate parking for.
