Lamb Korma Pulao Rice
Melissa M.

I love this place! Eat there about once / week and am never disappointed. The lamb plate is my go-to, but everything they serve is fantastic. The owners are amazing, enthusiastic, and kind people and may just offer you a free sample. Super happy this truck is near me & love bringing new people to it. Try it out yourself!!

Zinger Crispy chicken burger

More like 4.5 It's rare to find a good food truck or Indian restaurant with a menu different than the regular ones. This one is pretty good. The owner was also really sweet and gave me some rice and korma to try. Of the three things we had Zinger burger definitely topped the list. It was really really good. They have some achaari masala (for spicy mayo) and it went really well with the burger. Malai burger was quite good as well. The chicken was very well cooked, had that smoky flavor and was quite juicy too. Samosa chaat was good, but I felt it had a bit too much potatoes. Overall a must try. You would wanna go atleast for their burgers pretty sure I am gonna visit this food truck everytime it is in my area :)

Mix Kebab Platter - Extremely dry and overcooked; lacks flavor.
Rohan K.

Stopped by here last evening to try the mixed Kebab Platter after seeing all the reviews on Yelp. I couldn't decide on which wrap to get so thought of instead trying all the kebabs. The owner was really friendly and nice when I called. They didn't have lamb boti so he offered chicken malai instead. No biggie. We picked up the food and drove back home in 15 minutes to devour it. Unfortunately we were utterly and thoroughly disappointed. Everything was just so small and dry and overcooked to death. - The seekh kebabs were overloaded with coriander and cumin seeds to a point where they had no other flavor coming through and were intensely dry and tough. - The chicken malai kebabs were like chalk; absolutely dry and crumbly and tasteless. It is one of my favorite kebabs and this was an utter disappointment. - The chicken tikka was the only saving grace and somewhat decent. Overall $36.50 for this kebab platter is absolutely not worth it. Definitely not going here again and won't recommend it.

First of all, converting a van to a food truck is genius. The guy who took our order was personable. He had a perfect mix of selling us without being too pushy. They also have free samples of their rice dishes! We got the Malai Boti roll, Chicken Tikka roll, Samoas Chaat, and he gave us a paneer pakora and aloo tikka to try. The parathas for the roll were so yummy. It felt like they melted in my mouth (if bread could do that). They are oily but that's part of the allure. The chicken was very soft and cooked the perfect amount. The wraps looked identical but I think(?) the Tikka had more flavor. The samosa didn't come with a side of sauce, but upon eating it, I realized 1) it has sauce drizzled on it 2) the inside is so moist and 3) there's a seasoning that packs so much flavor. I thought it was kind of pricey ($7 for 2 samosas) but the quality was great. I recommend taking a bite of lettuce with it! It felt lighter than other samosas I've had. The paneer pakora was alright, but I wish I could've added more salt. The aloo tikka was great! I want to learn how to make it at home. Definitely worth a try. We got all of that for $26 so not too pricey.

Fish special, Vegetable Samosa

This Indian food truck is a gem. I just ordered 3 out if the past 5 days. This place is fire. I recommend the lamb pulao and samosas. The chicken channa is also hittin. Great flavors and the people here are so great. This is already in my rotations of redmond spots. I highly recommend it. I just had the fish special - it has a 15-20 minute wait but im so very glad i did. It was 10/10

Their Chicken Tikka is magical and certainly worthy of a trip on its own!

(Oftentimes, publishers loop Indian and Pakistani cuisine into the same category.) Before we get into the food, I must praise their fully covered seating area that houses five tables. Even in the rain and wind, you can enjoy your meal in a completely sheltered space! Any Washingtonian knows how important this is, especially during the wet months. Three of us arrived for lunch around noon and it was surprisingly quiet. No one else was by the truck nor at the neighboring Tikka Masala restaurant. One employee manned the truck, graciously welcomed us and we chatted with him briefly about the menu. He informed us of the most popular items and mentioned his favorite, "The Boti To My Roti" (chicken wrap). I was so close to ordering the "A Bihari Affair" (beef wrap), but when he said that was too spicy for him, that told me all I needed to hear. I wasn't going to take any chances, haha. Our order took about 20 minutes to prepare, which is pretty long considering we were the only customers. However, I had read about the wait times in other reviews and the one guy was cooking everything by himself, so I didn't mind hanging out for a bit. + BOTI TO MY ROTI ($12.95): Pieces of marinated chicken and slices of pickled onion rolled up in a roti flatbread. The chicken was lean and super tender, with a slight smoky flavor, and covered in what seemed to be a garlicky yogurt sauce with Indian spices. It had a mild spice and I liked the slight tartness from the onion. The roti was light and was a great vessel for the saucy filling. + CHIPAS ($5.95): This side of fries was deliciously seasoned and drizzled in a garlic mayo. They were hot and crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. + EK DUM KARAK ($3.85): A piping hot cup of chai tea served with a biscuit. This was such a comforting drink on a cold day. The menu stated it's extra strong, which I didn't quite notice while drinking, but I did feel a little jittery later in the day. The biscuit was like a lighter and crispier version of a biscotti and nice to dip in the chai. Their menu also features various types of burgers and I hear they also serve a weekend brunch. My main qualm is just that the pricing is on the steeper side for their burgers and wraps, which are at least $12.95 each. All together, three of us got two rotis, one burger, one side of fries and two chai teas, totaling $53! My roti wrap was enough for me, but I think the average person would still be hungry after eating only that. Pakistani eateries are not abundant at all on the Eastside, so I'd still recommend giving Lari Adda a try if you're looking for something new and unique.

The seekh kebab was flavorful but ive certainly had better. The goat biryani was delicious and the goat pieces would melt in your mouth and it was perfectly marinated meat. I ordered their dum chai but I guess I got the regular chai which tasted a little watered down but was still decent not bad. Now I will give them 10/10 for their service. So we had asked for spicy goat biryani but apparently they messed it up and made regular so the person stopped by informed us and said they are remaking the spicy goat biryani and would like to compensate for this slow service by offering dessert on the house. While it was not needed, it was certainly appreciated. They got us rasmalai which was good. I have been here before and felt the food during my prior visits was a tad bit better as compared to today. All in all good food, pocket friendly and great service. The ambience is basic and they have ample parking atleast at night. Would recommend if in the area.

Also dear lord this is one of the best mango lassi I've ever had, definitely don't sleep on that. In general I love this business for its extremely unique presentation and implementation. It has a walk-up window outside you can order from with a table reserved specifically for chai house. Or you can walk into the kebab house restaurant it's attached to and get to the lovely low-lighting and beautifully designed chai house interior where it's filled with cozy seating and a self-serve order kiosk. I ordered a lot and it all came quick which was great. I also ordered both the rice pudding (lahori firni) and carrot pudding (gajar ka halwa) desserts. I wish I asked the best way to have them (temp, add-ins, etc) but 30 mins out of the fridge they had a mild and off-putting flavor for me. Will inquire about them next time I'm in, because I will certainly be back for those delish kashmiri chai and mango lassi!
