We went there for lunch after hearing good reviews from our friends about authentic Bengali food and this place is indeed awesome and has lots of authentic Bengali dishes that will not find in other Indian restaurants. Everything we ordered was so delicious and we will have to go back to complete tasting more stuff. Fish fry and mochar chop was the best.....

I went here for the Sunday buffet. I was anticipating the crowd here after reading some reviews but there was enough sitting available at 12 PM. The place got a bit crowded after 1 PM though. If you are planning on going for a buffet, I would recommend you check their Facebook page. They will post the buffet menu on their Facebook page. Food was really good considering it was a buffet. I loved their masala chai and Gulab Jamun. Chicken fried rice was also amazing. Service and ambience both were above average from what you generally receive at an Indian place.

Went in for Saturday lunch buffet. Had a pleasant experience. We went in early and crowd was less. Even though the number of items were less compared to regular Indian buffet spot, they were quite tasty and fresh. Clearly they value quality over quantity here. Yes, it is overpriced compared to nearby Indian restaurants, but I can clearly see why. Even the Rasmalai that we usually get at other places is from frozen packets, but here it was pretty clear that they had made it fresh. Apart from Chicken tikka masala, all the other items were different from the usual and since the number of items were few, got to try each and every one. Do give it try! My only complaint would be having Bengali sweets as well. They only had gulab jamun and rasmalai. Would have loved to try their traditional gur rosogulla or maybe chum chum/sandesh

    Plain Naan

This place takes spicy to a whole new level -- we asked for the Gobi Manchurian to be made spicy, and this guy tested us. I took 3 bites and couldn't continue... and I can tolerate spicy food normally. Fortunately he saw our defeat, and remade it. I'm inclined to think they made a mistake on the first go. Just be mindful of the spice, but overall the food is very good! The style of naan here is difference from most places -- it's not as puffy but more thin and slightly chewy. I recommend the paneer curry if you're vegetarian.

    Steamed Momos

We recently tries this restaurant in Kirkland area. This restaurant specializes in Bengali cuisine and the menu reflects that. There were decent vegetarian options we tried - Aaloo dum kachori - steamed veggie momos - paneer lababdar with naan and Malabar paratha The Aloo and kachori were really delicious and kachori was not super oily. Steamed momos were good too. Paneer lababdar was average. Wanted to try rumali roti but wasn't available. Service was good and the ambiance is good too. We went on a weekday for dinner so the restaurant wasn't too crowded, I'm not sure how it is during the weekends. Since the restaurant is in Kirkland it's a bit pricey!

Went there with the fam, good location, easy to find, parking available. Got us seated quickly. There wasn't much crowd, but the ambience was nice. Food was ok. We wanted the dal to be mild for our kid, but that came spicy (which we liked) and the curry was a lil bland for our taste (but our kid liked). Oh the momos cae out extremely spicy, couldn't finish. The roti was a bit chewy. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience.

    Bengali Puchka
    Tripti B.

This restaurant has a pleasing and inviting ambiance. The mango lassi was smooth and flavorsome. The Samosa was crisp, fresh and tasty. The puchkas were average. Expected something mind blowing.it wasn't bad but didn't live up to the hype. Both the chicken and the lamb dishes were mind blowing! So flavorsome and made with so much care! It was a treat to our senses! In the end we ordered the rasgullas. I would skip it as the jaggery flavor just didn't sit well with me. The service could use a lot of improvement. We asked for the check twice and had to wait for 15 minutes for it to arrive. It was a little fiustraring after an overall pleasing meal. We will be back to try the fish and other items on the menu. Worth a visit!

    Mangsor Chop
    Smrithi S.

One of our friends Bengali friends told us about this place, and we have been here a couple times now. We are happy to have a good Indian place so close to us. We got Vegetable Cutlet, Mangsor Chop, Delhi style Butter Chicken, Tandoori Roti, and Gur-er-Rasogolla. We loved the Vegetable Cutlet, Delhi style Butter Chicken, and Gur-er-Rasogolla. Mangsor Chop was good. Our previous visit, we had Shahi Malai Kebab, Kolkata Cabin-Style Fish Fry, Chingrir Malai Curry, Kolkata Style Mutton Biryani, Roomali Roti, and Garlic Naan. Roomali roti was okay, not like what you get in India. We liked all the other items we had.

Kolkata cabin-style fish fry and Mongsor Mangsor Chop

This restaurant has amazing Bengali food in the Seattle area. I haven't seen a lot of other specific Bengali restaurants in this area. We had the Kolkata Cabin Style Fish fry which had boneless fried fish and the Mangsor Chop. The Kathi Rolls here are also pretty delicious. They had Indian Chinese specials so we got the Fried Rice, Noodles, Chicken Chilli and the Gobi Manchurian all worth trying out. The service was very prompt and servers were attentive, it wasn't super busy as well. Overall would recommend if you're looking for Kolkata or Bengali style food in WA state.

We decided to come here for their weekend buffet. They do not serve buffets on regular days. We came within half an hour of their buffet time and their was already quite a gathering. Ample of parking space. Enough sitting space. They post their weekend buffet menu on Facebook, so do check it out before visiting. Service was good as well. The menu that day was good. The jhalmuri was very salty and the rasgullas were being served warmed:) (really?), puris were too oily and something had gone bad in the dal. Other than that decent tasting Indian food. Will be back again if the menu is good. hehe

My wife and I ate an early lunch. It was us and a couple of other patrons. I ordered a Goan beer -- yummy. A lager with a hint of sweetness, maybe from honey. I do not know the name. For lunch we got an appetizer, Ghugni Tikki Chaat. This has a pan fried potato patty along with chick peas, etc. in a little bit of sauce. We found this to be a bit too salty and had too much turmeric. I would not order this again For the main course, we ordered Macher Paturi, mahi mahi marinated in a mustard coconut paste and wrapped and baked in a banana leaf, along with Tandoori Roti. The dish also comes with rice. I must say this was one of the best fish dishes I have had. Absolutely outstanding. But for the bad appetizer, I would have given this a five star

Chicken curry (nor sure if they still serve it)
    Nishad K.

My knowledge about Bengali foods is recently acquired and based on that I feel the place is serving a toned down version of bengali food. The ambience is good (unchanged from the place it was before). I ordered the vegetable cutlet- I think the taste was good and fried well but the bread-filling ratio was off with too much of the coating and the mint chutney was just too watered down. Continuing the trend of little overly watery curry was the "Murgir Lal Jhol" There were only couple of pieces of chicken which were cooked well, but the gravy was watered down and felt more red colored than spicy (I am guessing they used Kashmir chilli for color). But with rice that became even more bland. Overall I would be hesitant to visit again for the price. But soon will try their seafood dishes and update review as needed

Brilliant food for Bengali food lovers. Ordered a bunch of stuff and all were tasty. I was just surprised how I was not aware of this place near to my house for so long .. Authentic Bengali food really impressed me

Mochar Chop (V) so flavorful and yummy!

Excellent. A real cut above your usual Seattle area Indian food. More variety, very tasty, and attractively presented. Friendly staff.

Love the chicken are smaller pieces too. I loved it with the garlic naan but it's also good with the regular naan too. I prefer the garlic naan since I also eat it by itself when I start feeling full. The rice pudding is a nice dessert and reminds me of champorado. Next came the Butti Ka Murg, and this completely changed the experience. The chicken was juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Easily the standout dish of the night - absolutely delicious. The Amritsari Kulcha was also excellent, with great stuffing and good taste. However, the chole served alongside it was just okay and didn't quite match the quality of the bread. Drinks were decent but nothing special. Overall, the food had some real highs and some middling items. We felt the pricing was on the higher side for the value and consistency offered. Would probably come back for specific dishes (especially the Butti Ka Murg), but not necessarily for a full meal.
