This is one of my favorite places on the east side. The food is kind of expensive but totally worth it. And the service is really good no matter what time of day you come. The place is really clean too.

Nice ambiance, wonderful staff. I'm always treated with care and lovely service when I dine in or order takeout. The food is fresh and so delicious. Pictured is my recent to-go lunch order. Sooo yummy! We dug in before I could snap a pic.

Authentic food with a view. Easy parking I would suggest the family meals there is more than enough food for the number indicated on the menu get an extra size of the pickles . You can order online you're picking up then enjoying a meal in the restaurant is so much more fun location is easy to get to and I understand now they have three locations bread is fresh and hot out of the oven. Service is always excellent.

I've been here a few times now and it's good not great. The service can be good but it can also be slow and clunky. Example is waiters disappear to the back for long periods. Or when clearing the table asking (expecting) the diners to pass the dirty plates. Food can be great but overall average. Hummus and pita bread is the best at a 5/5 The mains can be inconsistent. Vegan options available. As for ambiance, cute, good for large groups or small parties. However, the food smell is strong , very strong.

What's not to love!! I love Lebanese food but Tanoor does it so well. I have amazing experiences here. Everything from their fresh bread to the delicious cardamon coffee: yummmm! Love: Cardamon Turkish coffee Hummus Family combo platter Kabob combo Shish tawook Beef kabob - yummmm Lahma Ba jeen Nutella Manoushe Manoushe Fries Kenafeh Turkish coffee All so good!!! Get a big table since portions are huge. I always have left overs. Yumm yummm! Service is a hit or miss. Mostly friendly. Love the ambiance. So much bright lights. And parking can be challenging: but if you come during non rush hour, you'll be ok.

Dropped by this spot while touring the area for my friends who were thinking about moving to Washington. None of us had Lebanese food before specifically! The view from the seat we had was excellent-- several floors above the ground level. There were a bunch of flies in the restaurant (maybe not surprising because the windows were fully open), but because the ceilings were so tall, they didn't get anywhere close to the food/interfere with the eating experience. Loved all the dishes that I ate. There were so many things I wanted to try, so I got the mezze medley. I hadn't had fatayir spaneekh before-- very sweet, salty, tangy flavors; the arambeet was perfectly fried without being overly oily; and I really like their babaghanouge. It was way too much food and I had to take it home, but I was delighted to eat it as leftovers anyway.

I love Tanoor and I love their food, service and ambiance. I've been multiple times and it's always pretty consistent. They're fairly busy at any given time but they take good care of you even through that. This time we went, I REALLY wanted to try their pistachio ice cream and normally, we would be informed of last call but we weren't the last time and when we were ready for dessert, we were told that it was too late and that it would take 10 mins for the machine to come on. Apart from that, love their food every time. I would be back again and probably mention that I'd like to order it while placing the order for food and maybe just ask them to bring it later.

We never had Lebanese food before so this was an interesting experience for us. The restaurant decoration looked great and it window seats had great view in the summer when the windows were fully open. The food was fantastic. In fact we loved them so much that I even forgot to take photos. I also see a lot of people dinning there in their ethnic clothing thus I think this place must offered real authentic Lebanese cuisine. Overall it is definitely a restaurant I will revisit.

I'm surprised this place is only 4 stars. I thought the food was amazing as well as the service. I got the beef shish kabob and got the yellow rice with fries as my side. The fries were fried perfectly. It was literally the perfect French fry. The kabob was tasty and seasoned well. My brother got the dajaj mishweh (house special chicken). Soooo flavorful. Never tasted a chicken with that much flavor. Highly recommend. I loved all the sauces they provided. This is my kind of place. Service was attentive, friendly, and warm.

A friendly greeting as I walk into the establishment which is always welcome. A bowl of hot soup comes quickly after taking a seat... Pondering through the menu which I know by heart I order either the Shish Tawook, which is charbroiled tenderized chicken served over rice with a garlic sauce, YUM. However if that's not grabbing me I get the Kafta Kabob served over Yellow Rice, Hummus, Salad and Pita Bread to scoop up all those flavors. Occasionally I have the best of all world plate which is The Combination Plate featuring the Kabob Kafta kabob, Shish Tawook and lamb kabob charbroiled with tomatoes and onions. Now if that does not excite you nothing will... The place can get a rocking loud cause it's not huge but it has all the comforts of a big loud family meal. The sauce was amazing and the seasoning on the chicken was superb! My only downvote on this (and it's rather a personal reason) was the amount of raw onions. It was overwhelming to the point every single bite was just onion, spicy at that too! I picked some off and my senses came back to normal XD Service: 5/5 Quick service, we came on a Saturday morning and the place wasn't packed so we were able to order and get a table without a wait. They also have water cups prepared near the fountain machine which is a huge plus! Ambiance: 4/5 Overall a clean space with ample tables/seats. I noticed there were a few flies flying around. Zeitoon opened in downtown Kirkland many years ago, replacing the Central 21 Steakhouse. Much of…read morethe interior still has the original dark room steakhouse décor. The center area hosted a huge group with multiple tables pushed together. I have avoided Zeitoon all these years because they are higher cost, not necessarily justifiable since there are lower cost Persian foods or similar Mediterranean restaurants in the area. I finally decided to try them. Our server answered my questions, including his favorites. Two questionable/sketchy things happened: 1. Our server recommended the Mirza Ghasemi, which he said is great with the optional soft-boiled egg. Sounds good. We ordered it. The optional egg is $2, which is not identified on the menu. (See photo) 2. When he recommended the Mirza Ghasemi, we asked him to remove the Mast O Khiar which we initially chose. I said we only want one appetizer. He nodded and said OK. When the Mirza Ghasemi arrived, so did the Mast O Khiar. They put both on the table and immediately left. I flagged the original server to remind him we said to remove it, but a different person showed up instead. He: "You want to cancel this? No problem." and took the yogurt away. I did not order this; it is not me canceling. Minus 0.5 stars from overall rating. The Food: Mirza Ghasemi + egg, $14 +$2 - 2.5 Stars This eggplant dish is the one recommended by our server. We do enjoy eggplant dips, especially warm versions. The optional "soft boiled egg" is not an American version but tiny threads of yellow egg bits mixed within the eggplant mixture. Honestly, we cannot taste the egg. It is borderline a scam. This dish would be 3.5 stars if it was $14 at the menu price, which is already on the high side. A $16 eggplant dish is delusional. Lamb Shishlik Kebab, $36 - 3.5 Stars Menu: Lamb rack marinated and chargrilled (see menu photo) I knew I would not see a rack of lamb on my plate. I got four lamb chops. Meat quality wise, this is excellent. It comes with a ton of basmati rice and a salad with a refreshing light dressing. This is a bit spendy for the quantity of meat, but taste is good. Soltani Shishlik, $42 - 3.5 Stars This is the exact same dish as above except add a skewer of grounded beef kebab. This kebab, and I quote my hubby, is "not that good". Same comment for the rest of the dish. A basket of lavash bread arrived at the table. I believe it came with the Mirza Ghasemi. We have eaten many lavash breads, commonly used as wrap so it is grilled and/or heat-pressed with oil on the surface. These lavash breads are simply warmed. I learned they taste terrible that way. The surface has a sandpaper texture and still taste like sandpaper when eating it. If I paid for this separately, I would be upset.

Based on decor I wondered if it had been a pub or steakhouse once in its life: lots of paneled and coffered wood, chandeliers, and wooden booths with coat hangers. We started with the baba ghanouj and ordered the fesenjan and a beef kobideh for meals. The meals came with a salad to share rather than small individual salads on the plate which was a nice touch. The staff was able to provide some veggies with the baba ghanouj since my partner in crime can't have bread. The baba ghanouj was great - exactly the smoky eggplant flavor I was craving when I saw the sign for Persian cuisine. The kobideh was nice and tender - you could taste the onion. The fesenjan was also extremely good. One question: Who eats this much rice in one dish? The rice was very good - but it is a lot of rice. I haven't had Persian like this since we had Persian neighbors who invited us over.
