Favourite place to get a Gyros Sandwich Lunch!
    Caoimhe D.

As always, food is excellent, service is wonderful! Feels like going to see old friends! Quiet peaceful place to eat lunch! Especially love being able to listen to the Greek people who work there, and who come in cause it's an authentic Greek restaurant! As an Irish person who always seeks out authentic Irish pubs, I understand the comfort found in familiar food and atmosphere! Love this place! Definitely my Issaquah "go to" place for lunch or dinner! Plus, I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

I found this spot in Gilman Village. It is amidst the many shops in the area. The food tasted authentic and amazing. The gyros were spectacular. At first I thought I would need to order another, however I quickly realized that one was more than enough. It was extremely tasty. My dinner partner also enjoyed the spinach salad and baklava. I would definitely return to this place for more Greek food. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. The service is fast and attentive. The ambiance is the same as you find in any Greek restaurant.

We enjoyed the food, especially the lamb skewers and gyros. The meat was great and came with good portions. The service was so so after not ordering drinks and an appetizer. The mood quickly set he's afterwards. Overall good not great.

Good food and friendly service. As we found ourselves post workout, in-between traditional meal times, and hungry, we were craving something filling and fast. My call was answered promptly and our order was going to be ready in 15-20 minutes. That was just enough time for a quick shower and commute there! The gentleman who took my call was also the one to process my order. He was cordial and both he and the other gentleman I could see in the kitchen were wearing masks. They also had cups for sanitized and used pens. The indoor dining area looked inviting and they have outdoor seating too. We are looking forward to trying more of their menu in the future, but this is definitely going to be our go-to for gyros!

The only thing that saved from being one star because the food was good. The experience started off good, being greet when I walked in, the place seemed welcoming, we were only table for early dinner in the middle of the week. Pita bread with cheese hot plate was yummy. Salad with kabob meat was good. A friend has to leave so asked for separate bill. He was charging gratitude on all our bills, he got irritated when asked separate bills. We apologized for not telling him early. The price on the menu did not match the bill. He brushed me off by saying the machine charged for what it is. If that is the case, you need to fix the price on your menu. Someone came late, ordered Togo and decided to order a dessert, got charged for gratuity. It is a slow night, I guess he is charging for every dollar he can get. I like the food but not coming back.

Ordered two gyros and one lamb leg from Uber eats. All toppings are missing, sides is missing as well. Contact customer service and they told me thus restaurant reserves the right to remove topping options. What a joke!

Great in person dining experience! Staff was welcoming and the ambiance was very warm. This was a beautiful gem we discovered on our way back from Rattlesnake Ledge. I had the Athenian plate and it was very well worth the price! Had enough for leftovers after. It was a perfect sampler. Would definitely return!

The menu is not as comprehensive as you might wish (no taramosalta, no pastitsio), but what they do offer is done with passion and excellence. We couldn't decide what to try so we had the Olympus plate and the Tantalus plate which gave us some lamb, spanakopita, moussaka, chicken gyro, dolmades, avgolemono, potatoes, vegetables, and tzatziki. Everything was incredibly delicious and flavorful. Service was pleasant. Very happy to find such a delicious place to enjoy my culinary culture on Greek Easter. They even had a nice retsina. some non-food item stuck to domaldes received in food delivery

We ordered food via Door Dash. I want to start out by saying that Greek food is my favorite. We had wanted to try this place for a really long time but rarely are in Issaquah. Tonight I really wanted Greek food so ordered delivery. Well, this was a massive disappointment. Was excited to see they had skordalia, I'm not kidding about this - it looks and tastes like they take their normal potatoes and whip them up then pour some olive oil on top. Seriously, it was more like an oil slick on top. No garlic taste at all and that's normally a pretty heavy component of the recipe. There is NOTHING that goes into a true Greek skordalia recipe that is yellow (I'm going to guess they added tumeric). I took a total of 3 bites and couldn't stomach any more of it, it was so oily that it was greasy. How you make a dish like this greasy is beyond me. I ordered the Atenian Plate. The lamb souvlaki was over cooked and very dry and not very seasoned. The potatoes were overcooked and I don't even know how to describe the taste...lemon but not good. The spanakopita was heavy on spinach and light on feta, the filo was soft but I'm going to guess it's because it was in a container with no holes for the steam to escape so it softened. It wasn't too bad, I do prefer crispy filo but I'm not going to fault them on this one because I got it to-go. The keftedes were pretty decent too, but wished they weren't sitting on pita bread - the bread was soggy because of it and soaked up the sauce. The domaldes...not good. The meat was mush. I love domaldes normally but these were nasty. My son got the Dionysus place sad to say this wasn't much better. He said the Gyro mean was ok - really glad they didn't mess that up. His had moussaka, I was trying to be hopeful, but nope. What should have been a thick bechamel was very dry. It was basically eggplant on the bottom with dry funky seasoned meat piled on top followed by a dry bechamel (seriously not even sure if it should be called a bechamel). My son also got the Galactoboureko, something I've never had before so no clue what it's normally like. I will say it was different. I can't say there was a custard inside because it wasn't a custard. Custard is creamy, this was more really thick almost like it had filo inside it as well. I didn't taste any orange or lemon either. It was mildly ok. One last thing - one of my son's domaldes has something on it that looked like torn paper - photo included. Whatever it is it's not any type of food item. Pretty definite that we will never be eating at this place again.

As visitors from the Bay Area where there are a bunch of Korean restaurants, I can confidently say the food here is far better than your average Bay Area Korean restaurant. Between the four of us, we ordered a 12 half-and-half piece wing set, a seafood pancake, a tofu soup, and a beef bibimbap. Although food takes a long time to come out of the kitchen, the food is worth the wait! The seafood pancake was some of the best seafood pancake that I've had. The pancake had generous amounts of seafood in it and the crispiness could not be beat. Although the bibimbap comes in a large stone pot and is sizzling hot coming out of the kitchen, you unfortunately aren't able to extract any burnt rice from the bottom. Perhaps a little bit more oil is needed to achieve this? Despite this, it's still a really nicely constructed bibimbap bowl with a solid variety of vegetables. The chicken wings are crispy on the exterior and juicy on the interior. The wings are on the larger size, so once you get past the thin layer of crispy skin on the outside, I recommend dipping the wing back into the leftover sauce on the plate for more flavor. Last but not least, the tofu soup had a deep kimchi flavor, and was very mild in terms of spiciness. I thought the rice cakes included in the bowl were cooked perfectly and had a nice bounce to them. Overall, if you're looking for Korean food in this part of town, I don't think Danji Korean Cuisine can be beat.

The display was beautiful but the rice didn't crisp up against the stone pot the way I expected, and that may have been because of how it was plated. I also ordered the six piece mixed fried chicken - the chicken was super hot, freshly fried and flavorful. I can definitely see why they advertise the chicken on the door. It's not my favorite Korean place but I'll definitely come back here if in the area.

Lu rou fan bento - "Braised Pork Belly" (4/4) The portion size is generous and includes all the elements you'd expect from authentic Taiwanese lu rou fan, or braised pork rice. The dish lacks some of the bold Taiwanese flair I was hoping for, but it's still a solid meal. Popcorn Chicken (4/4) Freshly made and served piping hot, the popcorn chicken has a nearly perfect batter with a light, tender crust. However, the chicken itself is slightly dry. Iron Buddha Milk Tea (5/5) I ordered this with 50% sweetness, and it tasted amazing! It was slightly creamy, with a well-balanced milk-to-tea ratio, a wonderful aroma, and a subtle tea aftertaste. The roast duck was very tender, and the rice and bok choy well cooked and seasoned. The Singapore noodles had a stronger curry flavor than I was used to, and was good. The true surprise was the salted fish chicken with eggplant. I've never had a dish like this before, and the fish smell was a little pungent. However, the taste wasn't fishy at all and had a great umami flavor. The eggplant was also tender and cooked beautifully. This is the type of food that is very comforting and makes me want to eat more even though I'm full! I wish the portions were bigger considering its price point. Of the three dishes, I can only find myself justifying the eggplant to be worth its price because it is so unique. The Singapore noodles and roast duck I believe I can find for a better value elsewhere. Though I won't be a regular customer, this was a nice find with good food!

The place looked new-ish in a small plaza; several other restaurants are within sight. I yelp-checked every single one of them. All of them hover at about 3.5 stars, plus/minus some. Hmmm. Anyway, I kept the original plans and entered. They have a Chinese BBQ area that was being cleaned for the night, which makes sense. It was nearly 7pm on a Sunday. The menu had mostly ordinary Cantonese varieties with several less common ingredients like fermented bean curd, salted fish, and bitter melon. Always a good sign. When I fished recommendations from the server requesting good 'uncommon' dishes (and I spoke in Cantonese), he still pointed to the 'normal' dish. Fine, I stayed along those lines, too. The food is alright. The prices are at Eastside level. This place is worthy if you don't want to drive out of Issaquah (to Bellevue or CID). If I wasn't in Issaquah, I would not purposely drive here. The Food: Curry Beef Brisket Rice 咖喱牛腩饭, $17.99 - 3.5 Stars Tender-enough beef brisket and daikon cover a massive amount of rice. The curry is thick and pooled just right. The flavor of the curry met expectations. I wish Chinese restaurants understand it is okay to give an appropriate amount of rice instead of a massive amount to avoid waste. House Special Fried Noodle 招牌炒面/粉, $20.99 - 3.5 Stars This noodle dish surprised me that it is closer to 'soy sauce king chow mein' 豉油皇炒麵 that happens to have additional ingredients. Few restaurants serve it this way. Not a good or bad thing per se. The ingredients tend to heavily absorb the soy sauce, and the flavor profile becomes a bit too uniform. On the contrary, some may find this method more flavorful. Salt &Pepper Chicken Wings 脆皮炸鸡翅, $18.99 - 4 Stars These wings ended up being my favorite dish. They have an excellent crispy on the outside, juicy inside. Good flavor, too. They are closer to 3.5 Stars. Nothing in the overall experience stood out to round up the overall rating.

We chose the bar patio, which was cozy, fully covered, and set up with a handful of small high-top tables, making it a really comfortable spot to relax. The drink menu could use a little more detail, since none of the draft options were listed. When we asked about cider, our server checked and let us know they had a cherry pomegranate cider on tap. For beer, the options were simply described as an IPA and a lager, so we went with the lager. It was good, though we never found out which brewery it was from. We also ordered a mule, which was well made. For happy hour, we shared the half charcuterie board ($12), and it was beautifully presented with a great variety. We were impressed enough to stay for dinner afterward. We ordered the burger and the Greek salad with chicken after learning they were out of prawns. Our server also thoughtfully mentioned they were out of Kalamata olives in case that changed my order, which I appreciated. Both entrees were delicious. The burger stood out thanks to the homemade ketchup, which was especially good. The Greek salad was fresh and flavorful, though a bit light on portion size.
