I have been to the Oskoo market a couple of times and I was I noticed that they have opened a Oskoo Kitchen & Bakery section just 25 feet away in the same shopping plaza. The menu looked interesting and I noticed that there were many take out orders, so I decided to swing by and give this place a try. The parking situation is easy, there are plenty of spots, unless there is a meal time rush from the nearby Shaoshan Impression, in which the parking lot can get full, but you fortunately can still snag a spot a bit further away. The kitchen and bakery itself is clean and minimalist with a TV playing some music and several small tables and chairs set up. You take your order, and they will get back to you when your food is done. It unfortunately took them half an hour to get my order out that day, maybe it was a combination of higher takeout order volume that day, or under staffed, or something else - I didn't think my order was particularly complex. It even seemed like people who arrived later to pick up their takeout order had to wait an additional 10-20 minutes as well before getting their food. I tried the Beef Tongue Melt ($16) and the Pistachio Cheesecake ($6), which were decent. The sandwich was tasty, the beef tongue was tender and had a pleasant fall apart texture, and was nicely held together with the melted cheese. The rich flavors of cheese and meat where complimented will with the acidity from the pickles. The house made bread was good - the crust wasn't hard and the bread had a well-made spongy texture. With the price, I think I was expecting a bigger sandwich, as tasty as it was, it was small. Personally, I think you could get way 2x - 3x more beef tongue from a nearby taco spot for a fraction of the price and have the texture and taste be just as good if not better. The photo may have it look like a lot, but to be honest, I think majority of people could easily finish one of these sandwiches and finish half of another if they were hungry. The pistachio cheesecake was alright, I think if you are looking for a chocolate ganache forward cheesecake, this will be your jam. The texture is pleasant and the taste is good, but it does get a bit one dimensional the more you eat it. I think that Oskoo kitchen and bakery is an alright place in the Belred area in terms of food. The competition there is fierce with the amount of other delicous options in the area. I think I might give this place one more try in the future - I would recommend giving them a call to place your order in the future due to a longer wait time.

Let's get the negatives out of the way first: Wait was long Decor is very minimal -- feels like the place has way more potential than what you see NOW... the sandwich ‍ Absolutely worth it. I expected the usual boring pita. Nope. The Persian bread was the real MVP -- soft, fresh, and took this sandwich to another level. The koobideh was juicy, flavorful, and clearly done right. Sauces were perfectly balanced -- present, tasty, and not overpowering. Bottom line: Come for the sandwich, not the vibes. I'd wait again... but only because that bread earned it

MUST TRY - Koobideh Sandwhich!!! And get the fresh baked Barbari Bread--to die for with butter and honey smeared on. On my last visit a new line-up of home made pickled goods was offered on the counter. I bought what looked like summer veggie garden in a jar (I'm told it's called Torshi). It's the perfect and most delicious accompaniment/garnish ever.

Expensive, skimpy on meat, long wait time. Nothing remarkable. Stop believing social media!

The lighting inside is bright enough for all the colors on their cakes and general decor to stand out on their own; in other words, it's cutesy inside and I love it! The front has a ton of chiffon and crepe cakes in a display case, and there's also a bunch of cookies near the front as well. They also serve regular and specialty drinks, and my friend and I wanted to get some here. Staff here was quick with our orders. My friend got their assam boba milk tea, while I - in the best way yet - went overboard and got both their cream brûlée latte and their strawberry chiffon cake. - The creme brûlée latte was put in a cup where I couldn't see the inside of the drink, but it still tasted great despite it being late at night. Coffee is strong, and the crema has a sweet taste that blends well with the coffee itself without making the drink too bitter. - The strawberry chiffon cake was a lot even for the two of us to split but besides that it was not too sweet, and the sponge cake inside wasn't either. Outside filling tastes heavily of cheese, though. This particular cake has the face of Hello Kitty. From reviews and hearsay, I hear they have baking classes here which is really cool. I'm not much a fan of the parking situation around the area especially late at night but I love the concept and would make a trip back to have their other pastries.

It also was very hard to light on fire in order to reveal the gender. We drove an hour round trip to pick it up, and my friend paid $100 for what turned out to be a low-quality, poorly executed cake. The cake itself was dry and lacked flavor. Everyone at the party took one bite and threw the rest away. Overall, the experience felt careless and not worth the price. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

First impressions: the space is genuinely charming. Everything is thoughtfully presented--very dreamy, almost cloud‑like in aesthetic. You want to love it before you even take a bite. The fruit cakes were pleasant, but this is where personal preference really matters. For me, I always lean toward more fruit, less cream. While the whipped cream feels light at first, after a few bites it starts to feel heavy and a bit greasy on the palate--pretty, but not especially restrained. The black sesame cake was the most interesting--and the most polarizing. The first bite was a true wow: deep, nutty, and indulgent. But as I worked through it, the texture became confusing. There were jelly‑like cubes mixed in that broke up the experience in a way I couldn't quite reconcile. I love black sesame, but this particular execution wasn't entirely my thing. The standout, without question, was the croissant. It's excellent--beautifully laminated, crisp where it should be, tender where it counts. I completely understand why they've earned awards here. I only wished there were a savory vegetarian option to explore the full range of what they can do. As for the coffee: visually, it's spot‑on. Flavor-wise, it misses the mark. Pouring caramel over the top without integrating it into the pulled shots means it sinks straight to the bottom. The result is an unbalanced experience--mild up top, an overwhelming sugar bomb at the end. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it. All that said, it was genuinely fun to try, and it's the kind of place I'd revisit out of curiosity--especially to see what shows up seasonally. I'd absolutely be intrigued by something like a passionfruit offering.
