I'm not sure how this place doesn't have six stars out of five, but this was probably one of the best experiences I've ever had in a fast food place ever! From how kind and friendly everyone was, to how clean the kitchen was, ample seating, a mix of indoor and outdoor, air-conditioning and sun and then the most important thing of all, the food was absolutely amazing! The double bacon master I got was absolutely incredible, it's what EVERY fast food burger should taste like! The fries were insanely delicious, they serve Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce packets and I got a chocolate shake, which I asked and was told that it was made with real ice cream! I'm probably gonna get one of these every time I stop into Issaquah as it was incredible! read more

We stopped in her last month and tried Burgermaster for the first time. The parking was not ideal, the spots they did have were incredibly tight and there were too many people and not enough spaces so people were double parking along the curb. It almost deterred us from stopping here altogether. At one point, I said it wasn't worth it and we should just go somewhere else, but my husband eventually found a spot. I liked that they have a lot of outdoor seating. We bring our little dog everywhere with us so that it important. It was also later in the afternoon and the huge Burgermaster logo on the building did a great job of providing shade. There were a lot of bumps in the service portion of our visit. The staff we interacted with seemed young and inexperienced but I am guessing they are still working out the kinks. A gentleman sitting at the table next to us outside got very angry that they did not take his name down correctly and kept calling for someone else, so his meal was just sitting there getting cold until he went to check. I had my husband wait inside after that and it was a bit chaotic. They weren't incredibly busy or anything but they just all seemed to be learning at the same time. The staff did try joking with us to lighten the mood but it was a bit awkward. We ordered a double baconmaster with onion rings, a mushroom burger with fries and a Tom and Jerry shake. It was $45 before tip for 2 people which is kinda crazy for fast food but we had high hopes. The burgers were standard and totally average as were the onion rings. I would give them all 3/5 but I thought the fries were above average. They were cooked and seasoned well. The shake was delicious. 5/5 all day, but it was so small. We asked for large but were told there was only one size available. They are missing out by not offering larger sizes and it makes zero sense. If I had known they what I know now, I would have ordered two shakes and some fries. I might come back when they are more established, even though my experience was left plenty to be desires because I think there is definitely potential here. read more

Must still be in shake down, maybe will get better. The couple in front of us took 10 minutes to order. Apparently they wanted something no longer on the menu. They finally got it ordered, but it was really annoying. We ordered a burger, a fish sandwich, a small fry and 2 water. When we got it, it was missing the fries and 1 water. The buns are so soft they don't hold the filling. It slides all over. The fish sandwich wasn't as tasty as I remembered. Not enough sauce and too much fish for the bun. Can't believe I just said that. The best thing we had was the skinny, crispy fries. Maybe wait a while before you go and let them get their act together. We tried the newly opened Issaquah location today and really loved the experience. I'd heard they had their grand opening and we'd wanted to eat inside but only the drive in area was open today. There was a line of about 5 cars in front of us when we arrived but it moved fairly quickly. A woman at the front of the line was welcoming us and handing out collectible coins and free milkshake coupons to the first day's customers. There was also a merch booth set up next to the wait line if you wanted to buy anything like hats, shirts, coffee mugs, etc. We finally got a spot and parked and had a great carhop helping us. I had the classic Burgermaster, and others in the car had the Cheeseburger and the Mushroom burger. We shared a large fries and got the free shake using the coupon. I love their fries in the cup as they are always crisp and hot and delicious. The Burgermaster was a classic and cooked just right. My companions enjoyed their food as well. I really want to return and see the inside as all their other locations are drive in style and this place really looks like it's going to be their flagship location. As far as local burger chains go Burgermaster is somewhere in the middle. I feel like they're more known for the experience of eating in your car rather than the food itself. This location being the former XXX has a lot to live up to. I'm from out of town and this was my first time checking this place out. The wife recommended it and I love a good burger. When we pulled up, it was very confusing. They are currently under construction and it was hard to tell exactly where to go. There's a very long line going out into the street which I figured would be a good sign. My wife and I split a crab melt and a mushroom burger. The crab melt was a 2/10. It was bland with very little substance. The mushroom burger was good, but still not worth the money. We also had fries and onion rings. The fries were mid with little flavor. The onion rings were the same but cold. Like, refrigerator cold. My kid got the Double Baconmaster. He said it was great. He's also 12 and will eat a Cheez-It off of the floor if no one's looking. We also got three chocolate malts. They were middle of the road. It tasted kind of like a Wendy's Frosty, but not as thick. I could not taste the malt. The staff was very friendly. When the staff came to take away our garbage he noticed that a lot of our food was still untouched. When he asked why, I told him that the onion rings were cold. He seemed genuinely concerned and wanted to make it right. He attempted to give us more onion rings. When I told him that we didn't want them he rushed away and came back with a $20 gift card. I couldn't break it to him that I didn't want it so we took the card. Well, I came here last week for my first time and I received food poisoning. I came back because I'm getting my tire replaced across the street and got my daughter. A milkshake and fries skipped to the hamburger this time fries is the size of your arm and you get one tiny little ketchup most places offer packets this place said no. On my first visit to the new Issaquah location I had a cheeseburger, fries and a large Blackberry shake. The burger was good. Definitely met my expectations. The fries were a total disappointment. They reminded me of McDonalds. Not worth the price or the Carbs. Now the shake. Over priced and under delivered. I could get the same shake at Burger King's for half the price. So go my first visit i give my food experience 5. Today I returned and ordered the chicken strips. What a total disappointment. One piece was about two inches long and one inch wide and about a fourth of an inch thick. Same terrible fries. I had water. Today I give my food experience a 2. Lastly burgermaster management needs to bring in an industrial engineer to address the method by which people lineup and have to order food. Wait for somebody to holler their name to maybe come and pick it up if you're eating inside. My experience today was long line of people and inexperienced person taking the orders. By the time somebody holler your name. The food is partially cooled. Not a good experience overall, but I go back to burger Master probably not. So we just moved from California and when we craved a burger there, we just went to In-n-Out. Trying to find an equivalent here has been difficult. Cravings hit though so decided to give this place a test. Honestly wasn't expecting much. Pleasantly surprised. We just drove through and took it home to eat. Not sure if there was seating on-site or not. Seemed like its mainly a drive-thru operation. They do have an app though. I'll have to explore that next time. Double Baconmaster w the works (4): First thing I noticed was how heavy this thing was. It's got some heft to it. I would normally get a triple-triple at in-n-out. This double might be the equivalent. Costs more here but you do get a bigger burger. Everything was pretty good. I do like the works option which is all the free toppings. Bacon I don't think was necessary but it was a nice touch. Double Mushroom Burger (3.5): Not too shabby but wasn't too special either. My wife enjoyed it though. She loves mushrooms though. If you like mushrooms, this is a decent option. Pales in comparison to my double baconmaster though. Fries (2): Honestly I thought these fries weren't that great. Almost like In-n-Out fries which is not a compliment. I ordered these extra crispy and even then it was just barely crispy. They must use real potatoes like In-n-out or something. They just aren't that good. So the burgers are decent and you get a good sized burger. Fries aren't worth it in my book. I think I'd like to try their shakes next time though. Overall, solid 3.5 rounded up. I think its still a decent burger joint and we'll likely be back with our very specific preferences. Definitely glad we tried it though! read more

My little sister is obsessed with Burgermaster. Whenever she comes home from college, swinging by the Issaquah drive through is at the top of her list. Her go-to is a Burgermaster with Bacon, a side of fries with Boom Boom Sauce and a small peanut butter shake. She says it's very yummy; it's fresh and they use a delectable sauce. While I haven't liked any of the sandwiches I've eaten at Burgermaster, I agree that their Boom Boom sauce is fantastic and love eating it with fries. Not much I can say about Burgermaster at the moment they are just selling burgers on the outside of the restaurant. The inside is not completed. I guess they will be completed sometime in July. They bought the whole building that the old triple X in Issaquah owned and operated for quite a while . I don't know how long triplets had the building, but the four years that I have ate there from time to time they only operated the front portion of the building. The rest was a tattoo parlor and some other businesses. We wanted to grab food quickly for dinner as my boyfriend has been studying for his work so he wants to relax. I saw Burgermaster is a neat, little burger joint that only has locations up around this area so we decided to try them out. We placed a take out order on their app as if you sign in then you get access to free small fries (or you can save your points for something else). We didn't notice the take out sign as the rare sun came up and the sun rays made their sign extremely hard to see. We followed the signs to the drive thru as most often when we order from fast food places, we can get that at the drive thru. Now this is where the biggest issue started. We arrived at the order window and the employee greeted us monotonal tone. We told them that we have a pick up order, he says that there is a ramp to pick up the order. Now there was no way to get out of the drive thru line and my boyfriend spotted a ramp near where we were. I went out to grab it so he can move forward in the line and as I arrived to the open door of their kitchen, a much more polite employee told me that the pick up window was on the other side. I went back embarrassed and got back in the car and we were about one car away from the window. I asked my boyfriend if he could just ask the drive thru window if we can pick up our food there as the way everyone pointed seemed to be near the window? But then a rude female employee once again said that they have a designated pick up window and insisted that we go there to pick. Finally, we're out of the line and I can walk up this hidden ramp and I see the sign that is completely unreadable due to sunlight rays that is the pick up for takeout orders. The employee who greets me at that window was professional and kind and told me that they were out of the blackberry milkshake and that I can chose a different milkshake flavor so I went with birthday cake. The current state of this restaurant is that they are in construction of trying to have a brick and mortar in the future. The kitchen floor looked terribly messy when I did peek in from both sides of their space which was concerning. There were pieces of different ingredients, fries, and other spills of condiments everywhere. I do hope things improve as they do have an actual restaurant but I don't know if we will return. Now onto the food and milkshake. My boyfriend got the burgermelt and added grilled onions. I got the mushroom burger and added grilled onions, jalapenos, and burger sauce. They have free fixin's you can add on like Five Guys and premium ones that you can add one for bacon, gluten-free buns, etc. So we got fries but it didn't come with any sauce so that was disappointing but they were decent and not too salty. We said that it reminded us of how McDonald's fries used to taste. The burger itself was decent and put together well. They were much bigger than I had thought too. However, it wasn't anything to really write about or worth a second visit. I would consider coming back to try the chicken burger and I know at other locations they have fish and chips or fish burgers. The milkshakes were thick and the perfect accompaniment to the meal. One of my favorite parts of the birthday cake milkshake was the amount of sprinkles put in. My boyfriend got a pretty good Oreo milkshake. I wish on the app that you can pick your sauces for the fries and that you can chose when they start your order. I also wished that they made a small note on how to pick up the order as well. We almost were out of luck on picking up our order as there was no space to park but as we were getting out of the drive thru, someone was just leaving. This was our first time at Burgermaster and we were excited to see the drive in area. The posted menu provided an easy to read well laid out explanation of the diverse fast food menu. Our wait staff was extremely helpful and explained the process in detail and took our order. The Double Baconmaster, Burgermaster and Kid Burger were favorites.The Fish Sandwich did not come with the order so we waited and it still didn't come so we turned on our headlights and waited. Finally got someone's attention and then they realized we were missing part of our order. The fish sandwich came with too large pieces of golden fried fish that were too big for the bun and was missing the pickles that we had asked for. We also did not get the ketchup we asked for on the side. The onion rings were very crispy and large, though too doughy on the inside and the onion itself was lost in it all. The root beer was good and made in house. Over all the cost came out to $72 not including tip. We would come again, but probably not our first choice. read more

Been a customer of the Bellevue and Bothell locations for decades - both have had outstanding service, great food and amazing staff. So, decided to try the new Issaquah location since it IS much closer to where I live and you can dine inside. Bottom line - There is MUCH room for improvement at the present time. Went Saturday around 11:30am. Didn't seem to be a lot of parking in front of the building. Didn't check the drive-in area. If dining inside, you order at the counter (with the menu off to the side so you can't see it when you are ordering) and only one person taking orders, and you provide a cell number so they can message you when you order is ready to pick up (although wasn't informed WHERE exactly to pick it up, since the ordering counter area is VERY small. Then you go find a place to sit and wait. Staff seems unmotivated and not really customer service oriented let alone not in any hurry in spite of the number of customer waiting to order. People cutting the line without any questioning from the staff. No direction on how my order would be called or where to wait. And while I was placing my order, one of the cooks came out from the back requiring clarifications from the order taker about ordered items on the receipt. Got messaged and went up to get my order...but there wasn't anything on the counters. No food, no trays, and no person - just the order taker taking orders. Fortunately, the person standing next to me let me know that you get messaged before the actual order it brought out, so you stand there waiting with people who are ordering and people who are waiting. The person next to me had been there for a good solid 20 minutes- her orders had been really messed up - and portions of them couldn't even be located!!! The tray of food is brought to the counter around the corner from the back, one order at a time. Got it and went to have lunch at the dine in area (which was getting crowded with some patrons taking up 2 and 3 tables for party of 2). Food was very mediocre. Burgers were room temperature, fries were room temp with some of them actually colder and limp with no salt or seasoning on them. Definitively NOT like the other locations and what we have come to appreciate at the other locations, especially Bellevue. I understand they've recently opened this location, but seems like very basic things that a many many decades of an experienced food establishment would have no issues or problems with. My recommendation is either go with lowered expectations OR wait a few months until they have worked out all the kinks. read more
