Exactly what I would expect from a Five Guys. Good food, great service, clean interior.

i always pass by here when leaving seattle. there beef pattys are hand made fresh. and its usually a toss up depending on the workers. it always lands from 6/10 to 7/10. but this time. they knockd it out of the park. the burger was phenomenal. juicy, moist, absolutly incredible. easily surpassd some of the expensive burgers i had erlier this week from carlile to tidal+. this is sad to say but compared to those places. for the price. this was better. it was all mexican cooks behind the griddle and early in the morn. so it wasnt busy. place was clean and everybody was nice. again, i was blown away how good it was. read more

Food is always good at Five Guys. This location is quite convenient for me since I regularly visit Barnes & Noble, Target, and Trader Joe's, all within walking. However, my son is severely allergic to peanuts so I pretty much never get to come eat here. Today, I only had my daughter with me and we decided to have lunch. It was my daughter's first time at Five Guys, so I did the ordering for her. We got 1 cheeseburger all the way (she doesn't like bacon.... Isn't that crazy?) and 1 little fries (which is far from little). That's it! We just split and that was enough food for the both of us. My daughter is 12 so she eats like an adult. I remember my first time eating at Five Guys with a couple of my friends. We each got our own fries and burger and not even being able to finish half of what we ordered. Here is the bad.... Now they ask for tips! Wow! They do not offer wait or bus service. They don't take food to your table. They should not be asking for tips. This is not cool, guys. We must all refuse to tip at restaurants like this. Five Guys can pay their employees better instead of asking customers to chip in more. The food is already expensive. Ambiance itself was okay here but It was not very clean. Maybe this is by design though. They had peanut shells all over the floor. If you are allergic to peanuts, do not even enter this store. I went to Five Guys with a handful of friends and I would definitely go again! Service: So it's kind of like Wendy's; order up, get your food at the counter, and choose your own table. Also like Wendy's, they have a drink machine to which you can choose your own drink. Food: The food was really good, I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and regular fries. The grilled cheese was smaller than I originally anticipated, probably half the size of one of their burgers. But both this sandwich and the fries were delectable! The environment: The building is a little small and has a bit of a messy feel to it, but it serves its purpose! Final notes: I would definitely recommend Five Guys. I enjoy their burgers because you get to customize it. I like that you can add a bunch of different toppings with no additional charge. Love onions on my burgers, and they have both fresh and grilled onions. Also, one of the few places that use fresh jalapeños instead of pickled jalapeños, which is big plus for me. read more

I have eaten at Five Guys a few times a year for the past few years. It is my go-to for a delicious greasy bacon cheeseburger and incredible Cajun fries. My one suggestion to them would to be adding a dipping sauce for fries! Ranch, aioli, anything. It is consistent and super enjoyable. I think people don't realize the quality of the ingredients which definitely influences the price. It's not a cheap or super quick stop, but it is worth it to satisfy an unhealthy craving every now and then! Their shakes are good and offer yummy mix-ins. Better choice than Jack in The Box. I did not know this would be how the menu works: you basically customize your burger after you choose what kind and what size of burger you want. The server was quite confused as to why I only wanted mushroom on top and nothing else. Anyway, I had lettuce, onions, tomato, pickles, and mushroom. I also ordered one thing of fries. Ladies and gentlemen who don't eat much like I do, Five Guys' Little Burger is actually like a normal size burger. I bet you my stepson thinking Little Burger was like Wendy's or McDonald's kid-size burger, so he went ahead and ordered 2 of those burgers. Just FYI ! Also, "Little" Fries ain't so little! I enjoy Five Guys in general, so this review is for the Issaquah location, which is not my normal location. Most of the experience was fine. Enough extra fries in the bag, able to customize and get it all, the normal stuff. But the buns were stale and ice cold! Toasted which helped the inside, but the center were so cold it distracted from the rest of the burger. And they were so stale that they had a white ring around the outside and had the crunch of a crusty baguette (without the freshness). I can only assume they freeze the buns and thaw a few at a time. I don't want to think of they do this to the rest of the ingredients. Please don't freeze your buns! Or at least let them completely thaw and come up to temp. And toss stale buns instead of serving. Usually I eat at lunch where there is perfectly running crew of Latinos. My burgers are juicy and delicious and very hot. This Monday I decided to do it for dinner. Bad idea. I actually had a pretty good experience here (unlike some other locations). The dining area was clean and well maintained. When we went to place our order, the cashier wasn't the most friendly person, but he did answer all our questions. Everyone else that we came into contact with was friendly and welcoming. Their Strawberry shakes are fantastic! Real, fresh strawberries and good ice cream with just the right balance. We definitely got a generous portion of fries (full container PLUS quite a few more overflowing into the bottom of the bag. The fried were well cooked and very tasty. The burger I got was prepared EXACTLY as ordered (unlike other locations) and really good. Well cooked with fresh toppings. Overall, very happy with my experience here and we'll definitely be coming back! read more

I've been to this location quite a few times since they opened and I've always had an awesome experience. Probably the best thing to happen was the addition of milkshakes! I love me a good burger and milkshake combo! I usually get the little ( or the regular size one when I am feeling up for the challenge!) bacon cheeseburger with grilled jalapeños, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, and hot sauce. The burger is MASSIVE! So I usually don't order fries unless there are people willing to share. If you do go for fries, get the Cajun! They're so good! If you dine in you can enjoy the bottomless peanuts. My dad loves those, but I usually like to save room for the meal. They also have one of those pop machines with a billion options. Terrible experience! Ordered dinner for the kiddos via the Five Guys app for delivery. Got a text that it was on its way. They were 15 mins late, so I checked the app. It said the driver had an emergency and my food wouldn't be delivered, but I wouldn't be charged. If I hadn't checked the tracking link, I never would have known! I called the Five Guys directly to see what was going on. The guy on the phone talked with management, and said they could refund my money in 3-5 business days, and I was welcome to place the order again. Unacceptable - I'm not going to reward them for not offering to make it right, or to do something about the problem! Of course they refunded my money, I didn't receive the ordered goods! The guy was very nice, but my kids came home, I had no food, and I had to scramble to figure out what to do for dinner. They said this is a known problem, it has happened to others, too. If you know it's a problem, fix it, or do something to make your customers feel better for the inconvenience! Don't let other customers suffer the same fate! I hope someone from the company sees this, but I'm not holding my breath. Be warned! read more

Update: All the workers here are still trash and completely rude and unprofessional. They act like they live here. We literally walked in on them eating breakfast at the tables when they were supposed to be open so then we had to wait for them to get ready. I've worked for this company before too and it's just really annoying when you have a cocky old man taking your order like it doesn't even matter, and he charges me extra for stuff. I asked for extra cheese on a cheeseburger and he "added cheese" which makes it to where you're charged for it even though you can get free extra cheese on anything that already has cheese on it. If you're going to act like a know it all, maybe do your job correctly, especially considering you're like 40 working as a cashier. Went to this Five Guys location today with some coworkers, and was (as usual) wowed by the quality and deliciousness of the food. I ended up getting the Little Cheeseburger since the last time I ordered a regular sized one and almost died. That ended up being a smart choice, as the LCB paired with my small fry order ended up in me being pleasantly full and with wasting no food! While the food was amazing, I'd say the service and cleanliness of the place was lackluster. The waitress was super monotone and clearly in auto-pilot, making no effort to smile or show interest in the customers. As for cleanliness: I know about the free peanuts, so that's not an issue. Nowhere does it say, though, "please, throw around your dirty napkins and straw wrappers for us to not clean." Seeing how this location is kind of out of the way for me, I'm not sure I'll be back in the immediate future - but, don't write it off if you are a local! read more

He's a pretty picky eater, so when he likes something, it must be good! Last Friday night we were deciding on dinner and decided to try Five Guys. We didn't want to go in, so we ordered on line (very cool tool, worked great...most don't ) and put in a for a time that we would pick up our food. Very simple order, couple of cheeseburgers & fries, nothing fancy. We get the order home, I unwrap my burger & immediately I am disgusted. The bun is soaked & soggy with grease. Displeased, but still hungry I decided to keep the bun on the burger and continue. First bite......dull. Meat didn't taste good, tasted more grease then anything. Pink color all through out which I didn't' care for. I like my meat cooked! Cheese was ok....nothing special about it. The fries were probably the highlight of the meal. Hand Cut with a good texture, but way to salty :( One order can easily feed two people. I was really disappointed about Five Guys, because I really did want to like them.
