I wanted a simple meal, so I decided to check this place out. I order the chicken tenders which is only on the kids menu and was stated that was $8 and it came with fries and a drink. After ordering the cashier told me my total was $11? I was confused but paid because I do love to support new business. When I went up to get my order it was an in a to go bag when I specifically asked for it to be for there but it's whatever. When I opened my container I was more then disappointed ‍ these look nothing like chicken tenders, they were soaked in oil and soggy. It looks more like cod then chicken. The fries we ok not the best. I do not suggest getting the chicken tenders, such an easy meal to make but they messed up completely lol. It could be that there other food is good but I doubt it..

Best burger and fries I know of Garlic French Fries are sumptuous and crispy Staff is very friendly and turnaround time is quick

This is a Wimpy piece of Alaska Cod

My son and I ordered the fish and chips each. We got plenty of french fries I'll give them that, they were decent for sure but the fish was literally as thin as a pancake and about 4 inches long each. You would need to put the two pieces of this fish together and this would than equal one piece of cod that we should've gotten per piece. It's like they cut a piece of cod in half the long way and then battered and fried each piece and claim it as "2" pieces. I've included pictures and placed a french fry by the cod so you can have an example of what I'm talking about. For $12 per plate after taxes for these tiny wimpy pieces of fish, not worth it and will never go back again. Unfortunately, they really skipped out on quality to make the extra buck and I'm not even curious to try anything else on their menu.

    Supposed to be garlic fries

Ordered garlic fries and got this. It's disgusting and does not taste like garlic at all! Asked for a replacement of regular fries and the guy told us "you ordered garlic fries, that's what you get. Discard it if you don't like it." They were very rude, especially him. Definitely not worth the $6.99 we paid for it. Never ordering from them again. Someone needs to learn customer service skills and how to make GARLIC fries!

It did seem like it would be a fun place to watch a game with friends. I got the burger and fries off the Happy Hour menu for $14. Decent price, and the burger was thick but with a dry bun and not much for toppings. It wasn't great, Fries were cold and oily, and looked like they were cooked in old that should have been changed. We were warmly greeted at the door and invited in. While walking us to our table, the owner who was seating us offered us a $4 mimosa. How could we say no, so she presented us with a few non-standard options like watermelon (and I can't remember the other types, my bad!). It turns out that it's their new brunch special, so if you accept the mimosa on the way in, it's $4, where the regular price is $10 -- definitely good to keep in mind if you're visiting during weekend brunch! When it came down to the food, I ordered the fried bologna sandwich while my husband had the tom tom benedict (green and red tomatoes). Both were quite good -- I loved the twist on the ol' bologna sandwich, though I the tom tom bene was prob our fave. Anyhow, I was suprised at how much we liked the food from this tavern, and I'll definitely include it as an option from now on, when we're coming up with places to visit. Highly recommend this place. It's relatively new, it's quite sizable, and the owners are just lovely. I do hope that more people find out about this gem and visit!

From the moment I stepped inside to the decor and service to the taste and quality of food, I was impressed the entire night. Most bbq places are laid back and loud, but this place is refined, sophisticated, and everything you'd want for a date night or celebration. Starting off with service, everyone we spoke with was lovely and inviting. We felt welcomed and our server kept checking on us, but wasn't too invasive, so we were able to catch up. We were greeted with hand towels and 3 options for water. Cutlery and tableware were nicely set up and I'm obsessed with their plates! I was blown away by all of the dishes we ordered but my favorites were definitely the Uni Toast, Wagyu Volcano, and honestly all the meats we ordered to grill. They grill your meats for you, so it is a bit awkward because the person stands there until everything is done, but it's cooked to perfection! Highly recommend for a nice date night or celebration dinner.

We started with a wagyu toast and the meat just melted in your mouth. We also had alaska king crab with A5. Kind of a surf and turf nigiri. The uni toast was a little too much toast but it was a generous amount of uni. The Rubik's cube was a literal cube of meat. They cook it to perfection in front of you. Lots of sauces and sides to try. Everything was very good. It's amazing how different each cut of meat tastes. I loved the silky egg yolk in the volcano. They offer bottle service as well as drinks and their drinks were excellent. Would definitely go back!

The vegetable dishes were excellent: flavorful, well-prepared, and apparently packed with enough fiber to move several years of unresolved business through my digestive system. Docking off one star just because the price was pretty steep for the portion, but otherwise was a nice spot.

They offer happy hour all day on Sundays, and since they don't take reservations, it's first come, first served. We arrived a little after 2 PM and there was plenty of open seating inside and out. This location is in the Spring District, which is super convenient if you're taking the light rail since it drops you off right there. It's located next to a park like plaza with a small grassy area and little water fountains. According to their website, kids are welcome in the restaurant and patio areas until 8 PM (but not in the bar area), which makes this a nice family friendly spot earlier in the day. Later on, the vibe seems like it would be perfect for catching a game, grabbing drinks with friends, and enjoying a more energetic brewery atmosphere. We started with two Moscow mules. Since that's one of our go to drinks and we've had quite a few, these weren't our absolute favorite here. They leaned more on the lime heavy side, and we weren't sure if the ginger beer was just a little flat. That being said, we still finished them! The Birria nachos were the highlight for me! They were so delicious, and the beer cheese sauce was SO good. I honestly just wished there was more of it because it added such a great flavor. My only small complaint is that I wish the toppings were spread out a little more evenly so every bite had a good mix, but overall they were still really tasty. The Mac Attack was also good, but it didn't completely wow us. If you're looking for an ultra thick, super creamy mac and cheese, this probably isn't that style. Still, it was a solid dish and enjoyable! Overall, we had a great first visit and would definitely come back to try more of the menu.
