Very tasty sandwiches. Good to have a place where you can get east coast style sandwiches. I've enjoyed everything I've had here. Kind of a retro atmosphere. Nice and welcoming atmosphere, and friendly, quick service.

Pastrami was so juicy and tender but some parts were extremely salty. Otherwise it was good.

Came back to try their classic Chicago sandwich. Yep. Another confirmation of their greatness. It was awesome! Heads up though. Pastrami was heavily peppered (which I like!) which may be too powerful for some. But not my son and I. We enjoyed our meal. 5 stars holding strong!

Went here during Salmon Days and they were busy which is a good thing!. Ordered a couple sandwiches and a large fry to share. The fries were very hot and just lightly salted which was great for us! I had the classic Chicago. It was good and looking forward to trying something different next time.

Busy day when we went due to Salmon Days on Saturday. We wanted to support a local business during the festival. We waited 5-10 minutes in line to order then grabbed a coveted table. We waited another 10-ish minutes for our name to be called. I ordered the PLT no mayo. There is a lot of bread and reasonable amount of meat, but barely any tomatoes... tbh I'm not sure there were tomatoes. Shared a large order of fries which were not salted too much which was a nice surprise. The sandwich by itself wouldn't have filled me up so for the price tag of $15.70 it felt pricey for the size it was. The pastrami was also kinda salty hence the four stars....also because they charge 3.5% on ANY order using a credit card. I understand needing a minimum order for credit cards but charging the customer 3.5% for any size order feels unnecessary when the prices are what they are. Prices did not include that fee. All prices are cash only. The place gives a mom and pop soda shop kind of vibe with the decor and stools and garage door for entry. Not sure if we would order again with the prices and additional charges for credit card given the amount for the sammies.

We stumbled on Chicago Pastrami after the other place we tried for lunch had a line out the door. As soon as we walked in, we were instantly greeted by a very nice man whom I assume was the owner. I tried to order the Cheesesteak with onions only and he said sure no problem. When he went to ring it up, he suggested I just order the Dip. I agreed although I would have rather had Provolone than Swiss. My dining partner ordered the Chicago Cheesesteak. We also ordered a side of Garlic Fries. Both the Dip and Cheesesteak were underwhelming. The meat was seemingly a cheap cut and a bit tough. The meat was under seasoned and lacked flavor. The sides are quite pricey in my opinion starting at $8.50. The Garlic Fries were $10.00. Although the portions were huge, they could have easily feed 2-4 people. I would much rather see them cut the price and portion in half. It was way too much for the two of us. The fries were also underwhelming. They were limp, luke warm and under seasoned. Had they been hot, crisp and salted they would have been wonderful. The Owner was very sweet and we love supporting local but this wasn't a hit for us.

Stopped by this past weekend and Chicago Pastrami did not miss. I grabbed the Seattle dog and some pastrami, and both were spot-on. The pastrami had great flavor and a solid portion, and the Seattle dog is an easy standout. It's a casual, fun spot where you order at the counter, and the family-owned vibe comes through right away -- everyone working there was friendly and on it. Prices felt totally reasonable for the quality and portions. If you're craving a no-frills, delicious pastrami fix, this place is absolutely worth a stop.

Delicious food with consistently good flavors and temperature. Lots of selection of items on the menu including Chicago pastrami, variety of hot dogs, sides like garlic aioli fries (my fav and huge portion), as well as beef shawarma plate and gyro plates. A must try in the area.

Happened to drive by and made a quick u-turn to come here, so glad I did! I tried the Chicago Classic and the Reuben -- so tasty and made with care. Super casual setting, order at the counter and find a seat. I will be back to try more!

It was office lunch. It is about 3.5. It was too salty for my classic sandwich. The sandwich good portion of Pastrami, salty and bread was okay. It was expensive sandwich. My coworkers like their sandwiches. The beef sandwich did look more like veggie sandwich. No picture.

So not what I was expecting from the outside and sign but pleasantly surprised. This place offers deli classics like a hot pastrami, Reuben, a meatball sandwich but also offers a bunch of middle eastern/Mediterranean dishes like a Falafel basket, shawarma wraps and baklava. I got the classic Chicago which is a hot pastrami sandwich with pickles and ground yellow mustard. It was perfect and juicy, with crisp edges. Everything was fresh and perfect. One of the best pastrami's I've ever had. Service here is good, you have what I believe is a family who works together and is very accommodating to what you want. I then ordered a Damascus ice cream which is a very floral flavored ice cream which smells to almost taste like rose but actually gets its flavor from a tree resin/gum it was so good and delicate in flavor. I also ordered a cookie and it was freshly baked, everything was delicious and the vibe here is nice. Will be here again if I'm up this way.

Costco just switched back to Coke after 13 years with Pepsi. Pairing Pepsi or worse Diet Pepsi with…read morea hotdog or most American-style meat just sounds unappealing. Try now instead a Coke or Coke Zero with Costco's famous loss-leader, their footlong all-beef hotdog in a steamed-fresh soft roll with squirts of relish, mustard, and ketchup, and see if you grok what i mean. Frozen creme par excellence remains the Ben and Jerry's factory near Burlington VT, on the factory tour even before the ice cream can harden. Chilled raw milk transported to the factory and separated into cream retains the wonderful and heady aroma of grass-fed milk, once evanescent from the warmth of one's mouth. Even 40 years after my first visit, i've found no better ice cream experience, and only soft-serve without the stabilizer gum and emulsifiers comes close. Alas, Costco buys wholesale soft-serve mix with stabilizers and emulsifiers, but serves a 10oz large for $1.99. Their pizza also gets underrated. Despite using all-purpose flour and making dough store-wide for all their baking, they bake a nice crust, so long as you order a fresh pie and eat it there. Don't steam the crust taking it home or it becomes too soft and saggy. Sure, they don't offer much choice, either pepperoni or cheese, but a whole large costs only $9.99. Yes this outdoor food court has plenty of parking-adjacent commotion other stores with indoor food courts haven't. On a nice day though, enjoying a bite under the sun and light breeze is just as refreshing as the food. Otherwise quite underrated and under-appreciated, as a chain they consider their decisions deliberately. That cannot be said of individuals. Hectic with orders jammed yesterday, one employee became a Pizza Nazi and tried to organize the craziness, shouting, even screaming order numbers, "289 Going Once, Going, Gone," dismissing every unclaimed. Yet many others and i found it tolerable. Where else can we get a footlong all-beef dog and a bottomless Coke for $1.49?

The price is right the service quick. Not sure how well the outdoor only seating will be during the…read morewinters.

Now while it still tastes good, the experience is interesting. I feel like with all the staff working and sitting around the place could've been more picked up. Every table either had garbage or grease or something smeared on it. There was garbage on the ground. By no means was it like going into a city alleyway, but for a restaurant I always expect more. It's expensive (because we live in a state where going out to eat cost more) but I'm glad we made the stop for a small taste of nostalgia.

It was my daughter's first time at Five Guys, so I did the ordering for her. We got 1 cheeseburger all the way (she doesn't like bacon.... Isn't that crazy?) and 1 little fries (which is far from little). That's it! We just split and that was enough food for the both of us. My daughter is 12 so she eats like an adult. I remember my first time eating at Five Guys with a couple of my friends. We each got our own fries and burger and not even being able to finish half of what we ordered. Here is the bad.... Now they ask for tips! Wow! They do not offer wait or bus service. They don't take food to your table. They should not be asking for tips. This is not cool, guys. We must all refuse to tip at restaurants like this. Five Guys can pay their employees better instead of asking customers to chip in more. The food is already expensive. Ambiance itself was okay here but It was not very clean. Maybe this is by design though. They had peanut shells all over the floor. If you are allergic to peanuts, do not even enter this store. In summary - Good food. Bad value. Dirty venue.

Small parking lot shared with Benjamin Moore Paint I think and a small coffee shop. There is some benches for seating and a couple picnic tables. I had two tacos (chicharron & encebollados) and found it filling where I didn't feel overstuffed. The tortilla's are like dinner size (not street taco size) and doubled up. The amount of protein they put into it is literally PERFECT. They don't overfill but it's definitely enough, and the way they place the portions, it doesn't overflow or spill out. Minimal mess to clean up afterwards. I thought the chicharron pork rinds would be crispy, but it wasn't as there was a chile sauce on top. I still enjoyed it and found it flavorful, even though the texture had changed. CK let me try the cochinita pibil and it was flavorful, and more of my preference. My favorite had to be the encebollados (steak w/ sauteed onions). Flavorful, sliced in good portions, and wasn't dry it at all since there was a good amount of sauce on there.
