    Eggs Benedict with fruit

This is the little cafe that could. It is easily overlooked tucked in a corner of a QFC parking lot. The decor is that of any generic greasy spoon diner, permanent stools at the bar, classic wooden back booths and typical diner tables. The service was so warm and friendly even though they were slammed and there was a 30 minute wait for a party of 2 on a Thursday morning at 10 AM. The veggie omelette tasted fresh and was not greasy. I chose pancakes for a side and it came with 3 giant pancakes! Eggs benny was cooked to perfection, the hollandaise sauce was so yummy and the fruit was also fresh and delicious. Coffee was standard diner coffee. Hot chocolate came with a mountain of whipped cream and sprinkle of mini m&ms. Highly recommend!

Half an order of the Popeye omelette. So nice of them to split it for us.

Still such an awesome place for breakfast. Not too busy at all on a weekday morning as expected but still enough people to create an ambiance. Great food. They even split the Popeye omelette (with hash browns and homemade biscuit) for us and it was the perfect amount of food. A lot of places charge you to split a single meal, so we ended up tipping a little extra to show our thanks but it certainly wasn't expected. The biscuit with butter and honey was superb. Excellent, friendly staff. Will continue coming back. My only deterrent is how busy it gets on weekends!!

So delicious . Each entree is so unique! It's a breakfast lunch resturant . The biscuits and gravy were wonderful . The biscuits were huge . I brought on for a snack later with ham! The service was so friendly and nice . Clean up etc. the counter was comfortable . They had outside seating . Many tables and booths ! If I lived here I would be back many times. It is an excuse to travel Kudos

    Pulled Pork Breakfast Burrito

Issaquah Cafe is EXTREMELY nostalgic for me, and holds a dear place in my heart. Growing up and attending school in the area, I remember coming here with friends before class whenever we had a late start, and I always appreciated the comfy, home-y vibe that this place offered. Years later and having since moved from Issaquah, I still find myself coming here with friends after the occasional trip to the east side. The restaurant is small and cozy, but often very busy; you're definitely gonna expect long waits on weekends. Service is always friendly, and you can tell that the staff absolutely love their job and the customers that come in. I tried something new this time around, and got the pulled pork breakfast burrito. The pork was juicy and flavorful, and really highlighted the dish. Prices can be a bit expensive, most dishes cost at least $18, but you can tell that they put a lot of love into their meals. Or maybe that's my nostalgia talking. Either way, I'm sure I'll find myself at Issaquah Cafe again in the future.

    Huevos rancheros

**vegetarian review** It was quite busy when we arrived - 30 min wait. However we were able to find bar seats quickly. We got 3 half orders - California Benedict, French toast, and Huevos rancheros. The order was quick to arrive. Half sizes are so close to full size price 16 vs 19 so that I didn't appreciate but I guess that's how pricing works. I liked the French toast a lot! Benedict wasn't bad but also not that special. Overall average flavours, good old diner vibes. A little overhyped but excellent service.

That fantastic old school diner you crave when you want good eggs and bacon, pancakes, or French toast. Super friendly staff, food was top-notch, would definitely go back!

This place is my go‑to for breakfast in Issaquah. The food hits the spot every time, and the service is genuinely friendly. One thing I really appreciate: they never let your coffee mug run dry -- the refills keep coming without you even having to ask. Great vibes for a morning meetup or a relaxed start to your day.

This place is always busy and it is best to put your name on the waitlist if possible. I like to try different things on the menu and these sandwiches were really good. You can choose, ham, sausage or bacon (I think) and they didn't disappoint!!! The service is always good too and very attentive.

Was looking for a quick breakfast driving through Issaquah. The place was packed but luckily there were two seats at the counter, which is first come, first served. The place was bustling! Service was quick! The cafe was cute, typical breakfast diner. I ordered the crepes with lingonberry- pretty lackluster- not impressed. My husband ordered the potato pancakes, which were just hashbrowns! When I think of potato pancakes, I think of formed potato patty's- these were more of a hash brown casserole. I must note- because it is 2025 after all, they are still serving coffee with the room temperature half/half cups- it's 2025!! Serve some fresh half and half, not the artificial, preserved mini cups. I would not return.

Breakfast sando with ham and egg over medium + hashbrowns

Service was very friendly; food was your average cafe breakfast fare (nothing stood out as excellent). My husband said his scramble and hashbrowns were good. Unfortunately, my hashbrowns were cold (not even partly warm) and had an oil aftertaste. Gravy on the biscuits and gravy was fairly bland (no savory herbs or sausage taste). English muffin on the breakfast sandwich was slightly soggy but the rest was done well.

Well this was disappointing. Not sure why the place was so busy and seems to have a decent star rating. Maybe it was an off day for them and the kitchen. We waited for an unusually long time after seating to place our order, and the food took quite a while too. Yeah, the place was mostly full, but not that full. For the food, side salad was basically iceberg lettuce with a couple carrot sticks and some croutons on top. The light vinaigrette on the side was only oil and vinegar. The wife had to add her own salt and pepper to the salad, and of course couldn't duplicate the Italian spices. Her grilled cheese was basic. Grilled bread with semi melted cheddar (?) between. My turkey club was okay. Way too much plain mayo though. Friend's avocado toast came with eggs on it, over easy. And the toast toppings were okay. But she said only the eggs were warm, not any of the rest of it. Potential was there, but execution was lacking this time.

Stopped in for brunch! The place gets really busy but I can see why. The restaurant itself is super clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good with large portion sizes. I would def eat here again. Come give it a try!!!

Issaquah Cafe is a well known dinner old school cafe in downtown issaquah. It is quick, efficient and delicious. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They are well know for the corned beef hash, eggs Benedict and breakfast tacos. We both ordered the corn beef hash with over medium eggs. It was delicious. Issaquah cafe is a perfect place to grab some breakfast with friends family or just for a quick visit.

The lady was super nice. It's a tiny place and a one-woman run shop. It was a personable and cute experience. I wanted a fancy iced coffee because it was a bright and sunny day in Issaquah. I chose Kathy's special mocha, which was a white coffee with chocolate and caramel. It was delicious. Not too sweet, but very creamy. It didn't even taste like coffee, which makes me wonder what white coffee means. The little coffee shop also has a variety of other drinks some of them involving red bull or lotus energy. I liked the creativity, but I'd personally only come here for coffee and maybe a smoothie or one of their baked goods. They also have sandwiches. There was a daily special sign that said specialty drinks are 10% off, but I didn't see the sign until after I ordered and idk if my drink counted as a specialty drink or if I got the discount. Haha. Oh well. It felt good to support a local business even though drinks are half off at Starbucks every Friday in May. They weren't getting much other business while I was there even though the taco place was crowded with people. I felt a little bad. If you ever find yourself in Issaquah and are looking for a nice coffee, this might be your place! I know I enjoyed it!

We were seated at a large table, and it was beautifully decorated. After twenty minutes, someone came by to talk about the teas. We ordered our pots, and she said they would be out shortly. Ok, well he could have still given you the order, or you could have come by and asked if we wanted a different tea? I really wanted to recommend this place, and bring my daughter back with her friends but for $565 for 7 people, the food you see, and one pot of tea for each guest, I'm going to pass.
