One of Bellevue's biggest hidden gems, Surge's is a must-try for anyone in town. They offer delivery in the area and a box lunch with a sandwich, chips, cookie, and pickle. As I see other restaurants raising prices and lowering ingredient quality Sugee's still bakes all their bread and cookies, their turkey is high quality and reminds you of thanksgiving rather than from a processed loaf. Went with the Chicken Chipotle Wrap ($11) box which is a great deal as it includes chips, pickle and a cookie. Very pleased with my selection and the entire ensemble :) My bride sort of created her own veggie wrap and added Turkey (which the menu says is roasted in their own kitchen). I was first introduced to Sugee's as a teen and my mom had discovered their cookies. Specifically their sugar cookies with raspberry jam. When I returned to the area I discovered they had transitioned to offering box lunches and catering. Their lunch offerings are outstanding! Their bread is homemade and they use fresh ingredients, example-when I request avocado on a sandwich, it's not browning as if it's been out all morning etc. Lettuce is crisp, tomatoes firm and the chosen "protein" is always on point. There's a wide variety of options for most palates. Sure hope this Covid-19 pandemic doesn't force them to close, I missed being able to order from them when our office was shut down for 4-months. Food here is great but I'm simply writing this review purely on a customer service point of view from today. Went to put in an order on their website which does state orders can take up to 120 mins. I understand this and expect to wait that long going into my order as I've done it before and expect it. Get a phone call later from them stating, hey we can't fulfill your order cause we're busy and tells me next time to order earlier. Don't cancel my order and then tell me to order earlier if your website is up and allows orders to come through. Did not like his tone and didn't apologize for any of it. I found this small local sandwich spot here on Yelp and decided to check it out. I ordered a Reuben box lunch with a chocolate cookie through the form on their website. The sandwich was tasty and decently sized especially for how cheap it was. My whole order, including an Arnold Palmer and tip, was less than $20. The cookie was good as well and I enjoyed the finishing touch of a werthers candy that I found in my box. I should note that their tea is unsweetened so the Arnold Palmer may not be as sweet as you are used to if you drink a lot of Arizona tea but it's still refreshing! read more

Had box lunches delivered to our clinic today from here. My pastrami sandwich was VERY nice; the meat was "real" fresh-made pastrami, not that prepackaged lunchmeat stuff, and the Pub Roll I had it on tasted like a delicious cross-breed between a pretzel roll and a croissant. There is a nice variety of toppings, cheeses, and chips to choose from, too. Our doctor got the Cowboy Cobb salad and he also said he enjoyed it. I always use their online ordering, you can order 7 days in advance online and pick the times you would like things delivered or hit the asap and it usually gives you a time estimate of 120 mins but I have only had to wait that long once. Delivery guys are always nice and polite and packaging is always done perfect including a pickle and after lunch chocolate mint! The pictures on their website do not do their food justice! All their ingredients are fresh and delicious. I love that I can custom order everything in the box lunch. My go to is the healthy turkey box lunch half sandwich/half salad with bacon and avocado. The combo of their thicker sliced bacon and fresh avocados are awesome on this sandwich. I switch out the chips and cookie for 2 little bags of fresh cut fruit. I usually have half a salad and a bag of fruit left over for the next day. Salad is nothing special but lots of choices for dressing and they always put it on the side. I also order their dessert platters and cakes for my office and events. So easy to have it delivered to my work and head straight out to my plans without having to go pick anything up.
