Fraud! Additional charge not authorized by me!
    Jenni D.

This place is a fraud with no core ethics or values. I contracted for an event to be catered, receipt below. I did not tip on the invoice because I tipped $150 cash when the "owner" delivered (he was an older/thinner man with grey hair). I paid the invoice in full 7/24, my event was 8/10. On 8/26 my credit card was charged $50. When I asked why I was told I added a tip. NO I did not, someone in the restaurant decided to add their own tip. AND their own contract states all taxes and tips will be included and paid ON or BEFORE event date! This is fraud! Stay away unless you want your credit cards ran for unauthorized charges. **UPDATE - The manager refused to call me, and I emailed headquarters like asked and have not received a response. Goes to show how poor their service is as well**

Food was served super fast. Staff is friendly & its family owned. It closed for a bit but is re-opened! Ribs and Brisket were so tender. Baked potato was done so well I used a plastic fork. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Music playing low but adds a nice vibe. For fathers day I saw them give 2 dads free kids meals for their kids with their meal purchase. What a standup thing to do on fathers day!

It's chain bbq - which is gonna be an ok experience not life changing. This is a pretty good spot to get some meat, veg, and drinks. The meat reminded me of grilled meat but cooked low and slow, not very much smokey flavor or smoke rings. This is definitely not ideal, but their sides, drinks and speed of service was actually pretty spectacular. The texas toast definitely needs an upgrade, I was unsure whether it was buttered or not, it definitely had seasoning but it was dry toast with dried seasonings. The fries were an excellent and unexpected treat with the rosemary herb blend on them, and their bbq sauces were heated and pretty tasty. Definitely don't mind going back, and a few things here or there and it would be great, but for a chain this is pretty awesome.

When you have a hankering for BBQ, Dickey's gets the job done. Their food is consistent (given they're a chain I wouldn't expect anything less) but I will say, some items on their menu are super overpriced. Their combo plates are definitely always the best value. My go to is the 2 item plate (2 choices of meat, 2 sides and a choice of bread), for $21 it is super filling and a great value. Their mac and cheese is great, their green beans and onions are savory, their fried okra and frizzled onions always hit the spot. Now, let's talk about the lack of value in ordering a slider. Their brisket slider was $5.75 and literally is about the size of a tennis ball cut in half. I came to realize that the slider is made up of their dinner roll (the same dinner roll you can choose as part of the combo plate) with a small pile of brisket, adorned by a full on slice of white onion. The onion was the star of the show with the brisket being the plus one. Overall, Dickey's is solid BBQ, go with a combo plate, try their brisket and pork ribs, try all their sauces, and unless you're just looking to spend some extra cash, pass on the slider, opt for a dinner roll as your bread option in the combo and build your own

My friends and I came for brunch here one weekend. We came 30 minutes before our reservation, but they were happy to accommodate us. They seated us right away. Okay, let's talk food. I got the California Benedict and my friends got the crab cakes Benedict. We also ordered some mimosas because who eats brunch without mimosas. My Benny was made perfectly-- the hollandaise was very flavorful. My friends said their crab cakes were excellent. The smashed potatoes were perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, but a little on the saltier side. Service was good-- our waitress was sweet. My only complaint is that the wait time for food was long-- took about 30 minutes. Almost felt like they had forgotten our order. Be prepared to hunt for a parking spot. Because this place is in the old town area, there are just small public parking lots here and there and street/side parking only. On a nice sunny weekend I imagine it's going to be tough finding a spot so come few minutes in advance.

She poured the small rest of my wine into a new glass rather than bringing a refill or leaving me my other glass to finish; very uncouth. The bread "appetizer" was bland and dry; not sure why you wouldn't provide bread with olive oil/balsamic vinegar to dip rather than just the slightest drizzle on a toasted crostini. The bruschetta trio was unshareable: 3 types of bruschetta but they expect you to cut them yourself if you intend for both people to get to try each type in the trio. My gnocchi was gummy and stuck to my mouth and the pancetta was either the smallest piece of pancetta you've ever seen or the fattiest piece of pancetta you've ever seen; not worth $32. I started with their coffee martini--made with coffee, not espresso. Our lovely server suggested ordering it less sweet, and I'm glad I took his advice. It was very good, though still a touch sweet for my taste. We then switched to a bottle of Malbec and the baked brie. My friend has celiac disease, and they thoughtfully provided both gluten-free crackers and regular crostini. The only thing that would have made it better was a little more of the quince compote--so good! I ordered the sausage linguini and my friend had the squash risotto. Both dishes came out quickly and piping hot. It's amazing how much it matters when food is made with care and intention. Somewhere along the way, many places forgot that hot food should be served hot--and on a warm plate! My pasta was delicious, and I actually had to wait a few minutes for it to cool down, which I did happily. The risotto was fantastic as well. Excellent service. Reasonable prices.
