    Oh! Signature Beef Malatang
    Callie C.

We go here regularly and love it!! Really good deals and value using Uber Eats. We always get the Oh! Signature Beef Malatang. There's also several add ons you can get at a good value. The service is FAST! I've never waited here using Uber Eats and their time estimates are accurate. Ambiance is clean but we've never eaten inside. Highly recommend the popcorn chicken too!

This is a place for boba drinks and quick bites. We liked the sweet potato fries, beef noodle soup, popcorn chicken and chicken steak bento. Service is quick. Foods always hot and interior is clean and cute. Lots of choices on drinks

We came here on a Friday evening and the place was relatively full. We were able to place our order on a touchscreen. The popcorn chicken bento was pretty tasty though we wish there was more meat. The seafood malatang could have included more toppings on the inside and be a little less soupy but overall it was pretty tasty and the medium spicy level was plenty. The beef noodle soup's broth was nice and pretty standard but the pieces of beef were pretty small and underwhelming. It's not bad for a quick casual meal.

    - Authentic Taiwanese dishes and tea, but pricy - I'm rarely here for food, but I stopped by here after hiking with my friend. I got the braised pork belly rice combo and she got the beef noodle soup combo. Her soup is authentic with good flavor, and my braised pork belly tastes on par with what I've tasted in Taiwan. The portions are just right for the combos for females, but it might not be enough for male who has a bigger appetite. I also ordered a popcorn chicken to go and it tastes on par with other places as well, but slightly on the harder side. Their pricing is less competitive since monga cafe in bellevue offers a smaller braised pork belly rice with a bowl of soup and two side dishes for $15.99. The rent in Bellevue is higher, so I'm guessing the profit for one n half lab is higher. They were playing Jay chou's songs when we were dining, and there were only one other group of guests eating at that time. We usually stop by here for bubble tea so I already knew their drinks are good. My fav is the iron Buddha milk tea, which is harder to find everywhere else. Their boba is half chewy and half soft, which means you won't have issues chewing them.

Came here in the afternoon on Memorial Day. The kitchen was closed (maybe the kitchen personnel took the day off) so they only had drinks for us to order, no food. We ordered Japanese Buckwheat Milk Tea as they were caffeine-free. They were delicious. Parking was easy as there was a parking lot. The staff was friendly. Too bad we could not try their food. Maybe next time. The environment was spacious, a good place to hang out at.

I wanted to try Rabbit Rabbit tea for the longest time but haven't got the chance to try the one near Pikes. So glad they open a second location on the Eastside! I discovered this restaurant serves Rabbit Rabbit tea so decided to dine inside. My partner and I came here around lunch time and noticed this place looks fairly new, tucked hidden on the corner of a complex shared with many businesses like Dickey's BBQ. As we entered the restaurant, we had no idea what to order but looked at the kiosk menu for suggestions. They serve mainly snacks and small dishes in addition to lunch combo options. We decided to try their popcorn chicken to snack on. I ordered the sukiyaki beef udon with the signature fruit tea while my partner got the braised pork belly rice combo with Assam milk tea. Once we ordered, we seated ourselves a table. The restaurant was small but had adequate amount of table seatings. The food came out pretty quick. The popcorn chicken was tendered and seasoned well. One of our favorite popcorn chicken we had so far! The udon noodle was okay, portion was a tad small for the price. The pork belly rice was pretty good and it came with half of a soft boiled egg. Overall, it was a nice quick service restaurant but our main purpose was to try their bubble tea. Both the drinks that were included with our combos were really good. The tea flavors were really fragrant and not overly diluted. I will have to come back next time to try the other tea selections.

Located in a strip mall in Issaquah. It is tucked in the corner and not particularly easy to spot from just driving by on Gilman Blvd. Finally tried it over the weekend. Service is fast and friendly. You can order from the kiosk or at re counter. Their milk tea is milky just a little under on the boba. Popcorn chicken is delicious, freshly fried, well seasoned and juicy on the inside. Seafood udon is nice too, just wish they were some veggies.

I'm not sure if one and half lab and rabbit rabbit tea are the same or separate? Anyways I got the strawberry brown sugar Boba drink and I really enjoyed it. It had just the right amount of sweetness, I could taste the strawberry, and the Boba was cooked and flavored well. I also got the Taiwanese Hakka style braised pork over rice which had decent presentation and some variety in the bowl. However I wasn't a fan of the taste and texture of the pork itself. Granted I dont know how an authentic hakka style flavor is supposed to taste like but I know this dish is usually served with pork belly and this was ground pork and it was soy salty. Would not get this dish again but I would get the boba!

Very good Taiwanese food (popcorn chicken) on the eastside. Very good service and food is delish. Highly recommend!

One N Half Lab is the same location as Rabbit Rabbit Tea which sells drinks. This review is for the food from one n half lab itself. The ordering system is a DIY kiosk or seat yourself at a table and order from your phone via a QR code. I ordered from the kiosk and sat down shortly after. I shared a popcorn chicken and got the pork loin rice. The food came about 15 minutes after. I noticed there were people still waiting for their food (the table had to ask about the status) and also noticed a delivery driver waiting who was visibly angry that the food wasn't ready on time. Popcorn chicken: the flavoring was a hint a basil and was just okay. There could've been more seasoning. The popcorn chicken was not fried long enough - the batter was soft and slightly slimy (at least the white meat chicken was fully cooked). Pork loin rice: the rice comes with plain white rice, some braised items/cabbage and potato salad (?). The fried pork loin was flavored well (way more than the popcorn chicken) and didn't have any fat in it which I like. I did notice the pieces were slightly irregular shaped and was like chicken tenders. The braised items (egg and tofu) were really good and was honestly my favorite of the meal - wish there was more. Also, typically in these bentos they put some minced pork over the rice but it was overall just plain and not too cohesive. Overall one n half lab as a whole could've been a lot better. There are small improvements that can make the items much better.

    Rose Creamy Udon W. Seafood

We ordered the creamy seafood udon and the beef noodle soup. We liked the creamy seafood udon but you have to do a little bit of work to deshell the shrimp. The beef noodle soup was tomato-y or ketchup-y which wasn't our favorite, but it's a good quick meal. Others ordered their rice bowls and those looked good, too. Their drinks were okay, but their popcorn chicken was well flavored and juicy on the inside. Inside is baby friendly with high chairs and a changing table in the one bathroom.

First time here. Clean and nice restaurant with variety of Taiwanese food options and drinks. Food and drink came quick. We ordered a combo meal and beef udon and popcorn chicken. Popcorn chicken is very good :)

Fun little place. Love the snacks variety and drinks offering. Looks like a great place to hang out. The OHL fried fish was super tasty. The fish version of popcorn chicken. Super crunch on the outside and moist on the inside. Can't wait to return to try something else.

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #95…read more I loved the Rabbit Rabbit Tea in LQA from my very first visit. It firmly sits at my #2 favorite boba shop out of the 91 places I've visited in and around Seattle. I found out that they had another location in Issaquah and I made it a point to visit after hiking in the area over the weekend. This particular location shares a storefront with a Taiwanese restaurant, One N Half Lab, which I will definitely have to try in the future. This means there's plenty of seating, making it a great place to relax while sipping on drinks. Ordering is simple on the kiosk right in front, and unlike many other boba shops in the area, employees are available for questions. Iron Buddha Thick Milk Tea, 50% Sugar, 30% Ice w/ Boba ($6.90) - We were told that the "thick milk tea" is much richer than the normal milk tea due to the addition of cheese foam in the drink. That's pretty accurate. This drink is extremely luscious and rich, but the problem with cheese foam is that it completely takes over the entire drink, making it taste like the stinky and salty cheese. That's why it's usually used as a topping rather than being mixed in from the start. The delicate Iron Buddha flavors are unfortunately completely obliterated here. Thirty percent ice isn't quite enough to completely cool down the drink, although it's almost there. Unlike the Rabbit Rabbit in Seattle, this location doesn't offer honey boba and instead only has either regular boba or brown sugar. For this drink we went with the regular, which is definitely on the softer end of things, with a soft velvety exterior but an interior that's nice to chew on. It's definitely from a long soak in a sugar solution, making the pearls quite sweet. It's not too soft to be unlikable. Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 3.5/5 Japanese Buckwheat Milk Tea, 25% Sugar, 30% Ice w/ Brown Sugar Boba ($6.45) - I usually love drinking true teas only (as opposed to tisanes), but i make an exception for buckwheat. The buckwheat tea that Rabbit Rabbit serves is exceptional. It's smooth, rich, nutty and toasty in flavor with the right thickness from the addition of creamer that doesn't overwhelm the flavor. I typically find that Rabbit Rabbit's brown sugar boba is sweeter than honey or regular boba, so I get the drink less sweet, in this case 25% sugar. It adds up to about the same sweetness level as 50% with the other boba types. The brown sugar boba is very soft, much more so than the normal boba with an exterior being almost too soft, approaching mushy, but somehow also has a bit of a grainy feel on the tongue. It doesn't feel great on the tongue but is fine to chew through. Milk Tea Rating: 5/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 Unfortunately I don't think this Rabbit Rabbit is nearly as good as the one in Queen Anne. It's still probably a good choice for Issaquah, and considering that they serve some really delicious looking Taiwanese food, I'd certainly return. Bathrooms - Single unisex room

Have tried their buckwheat tea, their strawberry buckwheat tea, and original milk tea on three seperate occasions, and it's delicious every time! The signature fruit tea is very generous with the fruit slices and you can buy it as a combo with food! The spicy noodles was cooked throughout and the beef was soft and moist. The braised pork over rice was a comforting flavor. cashier and server was the same person, and all the food + drink came out timey and hot! Went during an after school crowd so there were some people sitting in and standing in line at the self-order screens, but aside from the regular pop music playing from speakers overhead, the noise level is normal. I'm definitely coming back here to try other things on their menu when I'm craving a snack!

The Seared Ahi appetizer we ordered was incredibly fishy, pungent, and clearly not fresh. Definitely the worst dish we ordered. Spring rolls were whatever. The 2 sushi rolls (Ocean Queen and Outstanding I think) were not good either, but not terrible. These were edible and a relief to eat after the Seared Ahi monstrosity. I was feeling nauseous, but my mom wanted to order an udon to offset the fishiness of the ahi. I told her it'd be a bad idea since I couldn't imagine the udon would be any good either, but she said "How can they mess up udon? It's an easy dish to make." Turns out, you can mess up udon. The noodles were overcooked and limp. At the end of the meal, I was queasy af and disappointed. It's not a super cheap place either, so we dropped like $120 on an abomination of a meal. Service was good though, and the servers were nice. I will not be coming back due to the food quality and taste, but the service and ambiance were solid.

The roast duck was very tender, and the rice and bok choy well cooked and seasoned. The Singapore noodles had a stronger curry flavor than I was used to, and was good. The true surprise was the salted fish chicken with eggplant. I've never had a dish like this before, and the fish smell was a little pungent. However, the taste wasn't fishy at all and had a great umami flavor. The eggplant was also tender and cooked beautifully. This is the type of food that is very comforting and makes me want to eat more even though I'm full! I wish the portions were bigger considering its price point. Of the three dishes, I can only find myself justifying the eggplant to be worth its price because it is so unique. The Singapore noodles and roast duck I believe I can find for a better value elsewhere. Though I won't be a regular customer, this was a nice find with good food!

The place looked new-ish in a small plaza; several other restaurants are within sight. I yelp-checked every single one of them. All of them hover at about 3.5 stars, plus/minus some. Hmmm. Anyway, I kept the original plans and entered. They have a Chinese BBQ area that was being cleaned for the night, which makes sense. It was nearly 7pm on a Sunday. The menu had mostly ordinary Cantonese varieties with several less common ingredients like fermented bean curd, salted fish, and bitter melon. Always a good sign. When I fished recommendations from the server requesting good 'uncommon' dishes (and I spoke in Cantonese), he still pointed to the 'normal' dish. Fine, I stayed along those lines, too. The food is alright. The prices are at Eastside level. This place is worthy if you don't want to drive out of Issaquah (to Bellevue or CID). If I wasn't in Issaquah, I would not purposely drive here. The Food: Curry Beef Brisket Rice 咖喱牛腩饭, $17.99 - 3.5 Stars Tender-enough beef brisket and daikon cover a massive amount of rice. The curry is thick and pooled just right. The flavor of the curry met expectations. I wish Chinese restaurants understand it is okay to give an appropriate amount of rice instead of a massive amount to avoid waste. House Special Fried Noodle 招牌炒面/粉, $20.99 - 3.5 Stars This noodle dish surprised me that it is closer to 'soy sauce king chow mein' 豉油皇炒麵 that happens to have additional ingredients. Few restaurants serve it this way. Not a good or bad thing per se. The ingredients tend to heavily absorb the soy sauce, and the flavor profile becomes a bit too uniform. On the contrary, some may find this method more flavorful. Salt &Pepper Chicken Wings 脆皮炸鸡翅, $18.99 - 4 Stars These wings ended up being my favorite dish. They have an excellent crispy on the outside, juicy inside. Good flavor, too. They are closer to 3.5 Stars. Nothing in the overall experience stood out to round up the overall rating.

The quality of the meat and vegetables, in my opinion, was much higher compared to those places where you're able to get multiple rounds of meat or select your own vegetables/sides. It's a very cute Japanese restaurant, with very patient staff who answered all our questions. (Thank you for doing that). Tha takoyaki was pretty good but if it memory serves I believe it was over $10. It wasn't too mushy and it was well-flavored. The salad was worth its price. It was very small. The dressing was pretty good, not too overpowering of sesame. The crunchy tuna rice was really good (I really like crunchy rice) but it felt over priced. This could honestly be made at home. The shabu shabu was very impressive. I got the sukiyaki shabu shabu, which I think had the most flavor out of the ones my family got (spicy miso and original). The ponzu and nut sauce that comes with the dish is delicious as always, and the meat was really fun to cook. If you don't know, it is called "Shabu shabu" because you swipe the meat back and forth and by the time u finish talking it's cooked! We got the Americans wagyu, beef, park belly, and pork.
