Easy five stars. We ordered for a small group and everything landed exactly right: Big Portions, hot food, zero hassle. I always come back for the Japanese Miso soup! There's a cozy dining vibe if you're eating there, and definitely Group-Friendly too. Amazing customer service and the food here is great! I come back all the time!!
This location is quite busy. It's best to go early if you don't want to wait. My favorites are the house special, beef, seafood, and lamb. Each pot comes with a choice of bowl of rice or noodle. Lunch is best option since they provide a green tea or winter melon drink. They also come by occasionally to refill your soup if needed. The sauces on the table are really delicious and add more flavor to the food. Plenty of parking upfront and street parking.
Tried a different hot pot this time- the milk cream curry. I chose no spice and with rice. It was pretty good, a light savory curry that is just enough to linger on your tongue. Portion is decent and got me quite filled. The AC is still very strong here. Music plays in the background which can make it hard to hear at times. Service was good with frequent check ins on refilling soup.
We came here to redeem my man's birthday dinner and he got a beef pot and jasmine green milk tea on the house! I also got the beef hot soup and it really hit the spot. My favorite is the scallion gravy rice with BP's signature soybean sauce. It has amazing flavor and the perfect pairing. for the hot soup. We also got the lemonade basil seed drink at the end which use to be jellies :( I miss when there was the lemon jellies they were delish.
I heard about how Boiling Point has a free hotpot for your birthday so I came here to give it a try. I did call beforehand to make sure that this location does this promotion though. It was almost full inside when I came on a Monday afternoon but luckily we still got seats without a wait. I ordered their beef hotpot and since it was a lunch special time, it came with a free drink- and I got the iced green tea. The food came out in around 10 minutes or so and is served on a small hot with a fire beneath to keep the broth hot. The hotpot comes with quite a variety of ingredients like meatballs, fishball, veggies, tofu, and corn. They even provide an extra bag of vermicelli to add if you want extra. However, the pot is actually pretty shallow and there isn't that much inside although there is a variety. So it wasn't super filling if you have a big appetite or are really hungry. The beef quality is not bad though and I enjoyed the broth. I think its a good hotpot option if you don't want to eat too much and like to have a variety of ingredients but not too much. The birthday treat was worth it though.
The Boiling Point app no longer shows their waiting list, so you are no longer able to strategically pick a less crowded location or anticipate how long your approximate wait would be. When my boyfriend and I arrived to the Boiling Point - Arcadia, the tablet where you checked into prior, was covered by a QR code, that forces you to allow your location because you can only join when you are there. There is no indication of how many groups are in front of you, or how long the approximate wait is... and no staff in sight for me to inquire with... Visually it looked like 3 groups of 2 and 1 group of 6 before us, which wouldn't be bad. But it turns out a bunch of people were waiting in their cars. The wait was 50 minutes!! Had I known so many people were in front of us, I would have gone elsewhere. My boyfriend ordered his usual #4 Beef ($20.35/dinner) and I ordered my usual #6 Milk Cream Curry ($20.26/dinner). The prices continue to increase but the ingredients are reduced and swapped with inferior alternatives. When the weather is cold, my body yearns for hot pot to nourish myself but waiting for nearly an hour in the cold was counter productive to my health. I also want to point out that they didn't allow anyone to wait inside. We don't plan on coming back to this location since it's especially small and crowded... and I am definitely reluctant to go to other locations as their quality declines and I can't even glance to see how long the waitlist might be.

We've been coming to BP in Arcadia for about 15 years now, and it's still our go-to anniversary + Valentine's spot :) The hot pot is just comfort in a bowl - the soup always hits the spot, every single time. Love that they have a wide variety of soup bases and ingredients, so we never get bored, and with the cool AC blasting year-round we can do hot pot even in the middle of summer without melting lol. They do have their moments where something's off or an order's not quite right, but the staff always steps in and fixes it fast, no drama. James, the manager, is honestly a gem - he's been here as long as I can remember, always greeting people with this huge smile and super enthusiastic welcome that makes you feel like family. This place has that "we'll take care of you" vibe that keeps us coming back.

We signed in through the app, and fortunately, since we were a party of two, we only had to wait about 10 minutes. Overall, the experience was great. The service was fast, and our food came out in under 10 minutes after ordering. The staff was really friendly, and everything tasted delicious. I actually like this location more than a few of the other BP spots. Love that they have drinks now! Parking - It's downtown Arcadia, so it's just street parking wherever you can find a spot.
I love BP! To get on the waitlist, you need to turn on location services for your internet browser. (It's some website... not through yelp) Once seated, my friend and I were able to look at the menu via the QR code. I got the rose milky and really liked it!! It's a nice subtle milky flavor and didn't have any rose taste. lol! We also got free drinks w our lunch. I got the green tea but didn't realize it was sweetened. The staff were really nice. There were some trainees so they were all very attentive and came by our table often to refill our broth and waters. Free parking so that's also a plus!

Alright I know you might think I'm crazy but sometimes I crave eating hot food on a super hot day. Who's with me?!? Anywhooo this spot has been here since I was in middle school! I remember the days of getting out early and going to eat hotpot with all my friends with their lunch special hahaha I really do feel like this spot is an 626 staple. You choose from a small, but mighty, menu of different broth flavors + toppings. It's a pretty speedy process as they bring the pot to you with all the goodies cooked. Then lighting that chafing fuel so the food is hot for as long as you want! The beef hot pot is a classic and always my favorite. Beware of going above mild for spice as it gets pretty fiery in my opinion. I do feel the consistency hasn't changed one bit. Although I do miss the days of the enoki mushroom but I'll live....maybe Sometimes parking can be a bit tough when there's a lot of families during prime dinner hour. However not impossible to snag a spot on the adjacent streets. Service is always quick and attentive and they also brought back the little cups of juice instead of the packets (The world is healing) So if you want a soup based lunch/dinner that's quick and satisfying, Boiling Point is your guy!! Final verdict: Slurp-tacular ;)

Huge fan of this spot already. Booked them for a small backyard gathering in Arcadia after a friend raved about their catering, and they absolutely delivered. Communication was straight to the point, no weird back‑and‑forth, they showed up on time, set up quickly, and just handled everything. Food was the star -- generous portions, well‑seasoned, stayed hot the whole time, and guests kept going back for seconds. You can tell they care about freshness; nothing tasted like it had been sitting around. Team was super chill, helped with plating and kept the table looking tidy without making a big deal out of it. Not flashy, just solid, reliable catering that makes hosting way less stressful. Would definitely hit them up again for the next get‑together :) read more
I had written this place off over a decade ago. I remember way back in like 2009 they used to use raw meat and after they started cooking it for you I noticed the decline in quality. Tried it a few more times and said no more. I noticed someone got a Freebie for their birthday so thought I'd give it another try. Happy to report that I'm quite happy with it, I mean wow! No data collection just pure Freebie in 2026?? Service was very attentive and friendly. Dude asked if I wanted my fire put out when I was sweating profusely XD Taste profile seems to have improved + I don't feel negative effects after the fact anymore. Happy they put pork blood back on the menu, I recall last time blood was advertised and I got blood cake instead. The stinky tofu is much more mild now, I remember when the smell used to make my ex cry lollll. Solid experience, will be open to visit again now! read more
I love Boiling Point Arcadia! This is honestly my favorite Boiling Point location and probably the only one I'll go to. The workers here are always so kind and helpful. The servers are fast, attentive, and hardworking, and I also have to give a huge shoutout to the cooks and everyone working in the kitchen! They deserve recognition too because I seriously don't know how they get so many orders out so quickly, especially during rush hour. The food always comes out fresh, hot, and so good. Even when this place is PACKED, you can tell the servers and kitchen staff are working really hard to get everyone taken care of. Wait times can definitely get long because this location gets so busy, but it is so worth it. If you come here, GET THE BEEF SOUP! It never disappoints. Pick whatever spice level you can handle and definitely get rice with it. I love that the rice is unlimited too! Their green milk tea is also SO GOOD. It's seriously one of the best green milk teas I've ever had. And please get the garlic pork belly!! The garlic pork belly is incredible, especially the sauce. It has so much flavor and goes perfectly with the hot pot. I've heard other people say that even though Boiling Point has different locations, there is just something about the Arcadia one that tastes better, and I agree lol. Maybe I'm biased because I love this location so much, but the food and the people working here keep me coming back. This was my first time experiencing hot pot and it was SENSATIONAL! I already knew going in that this would be a fantastic experience solely based on the fact that my friend chose it as a lunch spot for us. ALWAYS trust your foodie friends; they know the way ;) There's 2 hour parking right outside the restaurant and if you can't find a spot there, there's plenty of street parking available. The dining room was spacious and was also PACKED with folks who were out for lunch. While the menu was compact, there was still plenty of variety! I was debating between the Taiwanese Special and the beef. I ultimately went with the latter, since the spice level for the Taiwanese Special as Flaming Spicy. I'd like to ease into that spicy experience eventually, just not today! Along with the beef hot soup (with medium spice), I ordered the winter melon juice - which was DIVINE! It was just sweet enough, supremely flavorful, and refereshing. Within a handful of minutes, our hot soup/stoves were delivered to us and we dove right in! The flavor of the broth as well as the variety of accoutrements were absolutely delicious! The fish cakes, cabbage, and tempura were my favorite of the bunch. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back to Boiling Point to try more menu options, the next time I'm craving something soupy. This is also a great choice if you're wanting to go to hot pot but don't have a large enough group for the traditional pot-in-table setting. 10/10 recommend! read more

I've tried the other boiling point locations and can definitely say the service here is the best. It was about a 20 minute wait on a Friday night. I love their Beef Hot Pot with vermicelli! I love that they have drinks so I can get my boba fix in as well. It is really clean but little seating. read more

Boiling point makes hot pot so easy and accessible! You can customize your bowl, spice level, add ons, and the lunch special hits when you can get a green or black tea to cool your mouth in between bites. The soup is warm and comforting, the meat is tender, and getting tofu and crab meat, there's just much packed into each bowl! The staff is nice and tries to get you in quickly and is helpful, the seats are spaced out so it feels roomy read more

good spot for hot pot! i ordered the beef hot soup with mild spice and extra vermicelli. you can choose between a side of rice or extra vermicelli. the sauces they provided pairs well with the beef! i was extremely full after the meal. service was attentive! they provided more hot water for the soup, gave napkins, and refilled water cups without asking. came on a sunday night and it was quite busy. they have a tablet to sign up on for the waitlist. i waited about 10 minutes. parking was easy and convenient. read more

Looking back at my old review... I have some updates! I did notice that throughout the last 2 years, the volume of music has gone down, which I greatly appreciate. Another point I would like to note is that although the price has increased a bit in the last ~5 years (which is what my old review was highlighting), their quality and portions have remained consistent. I understand that price increases of everything are to be expected, but I think I had written that because it felt steeper than other places. One minor change is that black tea is not an option for the lunch drink anymore, so the options are green tea or wintermelon tea. Honestly, I eat here way more than "on occasion", I am back at least twice a month (why did I even write that before). My favorite is always the House Special with vermicelli because it has a variety of ingredients inside, all of which I love. With the quality ingredients and delicious flavors, I leave feeling satisfied with my meal every time. It seems that I was previously a bit harsh, but I love BP and will always keep coming back :) read more

New waitlist system via QR code, but it really sucks! It doesn't tell you how long the wait is nor how many parties in front of you. This makes it challenging to decide if you want to wait or not. After about waiting 50 min, I went in to check the position. Victoria just kept saying it's about an hour wait and wouldn't check. I had to explain to her it's been about that so we would like to know approximately how many people are in front of us so we can decide what to do. She finally agreed to check the list and said it was going to be about 25 more minutes. Since we had a schedule, we decided to order to go. After placing the order I asked how will I know it's ready since they ask everyone to wait outside. She said it'll be about 25 min. Okay, I get it, but are you going to come out or do I keep going back in to check? At this point, a bunch of tables had cleared out so they're going to seat more people shortly. However, everyone in there already has their order so I was like are you sure 25 min because the others haven't ordered yet. She's like but a bunch of people are about to come in. Again, the tables are empty and no one has been seated in them to even order. So whyyyy is the kitchen not working on the order? I don't get it. Victoria, cashier, sucks. I understand wearing a mask, but can you speak up if you choose to do so?! She was just mumbling and I had to tell her I can't hear anything she's saying over the music and patrons. Anyway, she's adamant that it'll be 25 min for my to-go order even though the tables where she said a bunch of people will come in soon are still empty and everyone else has their order. I ordered anyway. Victoria said to come back in 25 min. I still don't believe her so I came back in to check on my order in 10-15 min (since no one comes to call out to-go orders) and it was ready. SMH. Lacks efficiency and a bit of common sense. read more
I came here the other day to enjoy some hot pot with my boyfriend and the place is small. We were told about some certain deals on Instagram to try and this was our reason to visit. We both ended up having the beef hot pot and with the deal on Instagram, we got a free appetizer and drink with no extra charge. The waiter was nice, but the bus boy who was cleaning after the tables spilled a lot of soup near my boyfriend and didn't apologize for spilling on his white shoes. The bus boy kept walking like nothing happen and didn't come back to clean the soup he spilled; which was a lot because other customers were able to witness that. This is my reasoning for taking off stars as the workers/bus boy should know better. read more

Boiling Point is one of the most consistent hot pot spots around. My top 2 would be the Taiwanese Spicy or Beef Flaming soup. One thing to keep in mind: the Flaming spice level at the Chino Hills location definitely hits different than the one in Arcadia. Chino Hills loads it up with some explosive chili oil that might have your stomach questioning your life choices (still worth it though). As for the ambiance, don't be surprised if it feels freezing while you're waiting for your food. They seem to keep the thermostat around 60 degrees, but you'll warm up fast once you start eating. As for the service, it's nothing amazing, but nothing bad either. Pretty standard and efficient. What keeps me coming back is the consistency. The flavors are always there, the ingredients taste fresh, and the quality never seems to dip. If you're craving dependable, flavorful hot pot, this is the place. read more

Boiling point has always been a wildly popular and beloved Taiwanese hot pot chain serving the 626 community and beyond over the last couple of decades. Service and ambience in the Arcadia location is top notch and lives up to the high standards that this chain has established for the individual hot pot business. My only qualm is perhaps the overly ambitious pace of change on the BP menu itself, as well as changes/tweaks made to some of my favorites on the menu. For example, The Taiwanese Spicy hot pot was always my to-go, however, they made significant modifications in the recipe, adding a large amount of enoki mushrooms and tofu that diluted the flavor of the once aromatic and pungent dish. I appreciate the novelty, but in this case, some things are better left untouched. Overall, still worth visiting, but perhaps past its prime in my humble opinion! read more
Came on a weekday evening and there was no wait- we were seated immediately. While the portions were generous, the quality of the meat could've been improved (it was a little dry). The hot pot could've also been better prepared before being served, as the meat was all clumped up in the pot and not mixed in properly into the soup. We would always have to physically separate the pieces of meat every time we got a pot at boiling point. Otherwise, the flavor of the pots was decent and satisfied a late night hot pot craving. Each pot comes with a complimentary rice or vermicelli as well. Staff were very attentive and added soup to our pots in a timely manner. Ambiance is nice as a good spot for a casual hangout with friends and family. read more
