Amazing spot that serves up delicious sizzling pots. Been wanting to try this spot for awhile and finally had time to stop by when I was in Arcadia. Was empty at 6 pm on Friday but service was good and fast. Food came out in under 10 minutes and drinks almost immediately. I got these combos. Yellow Braised Pork Rib Combo - Amazing, it was delicious. The pork ribs were so tender and so easy to eat. Perfect amount of fattiness and loved that it came super hot and sizzling. I got this with the potatoes, and tea egg on the side. Definitely add in the egg! Also got this combo with the soup of the day which was egg drop soup but it lacked flavor so honestly pick a drink instead unless the soup sounds more appetizing. (5/5) Yellow Braised Chicken (Bone in) - This was also very good but I preferred the pork over it. Flavors were still delicious and the chicken was nicely cooked. This one I got with the passion fruit tea which was super refreshing. (4.5/5) I would totally be back here, I felt like the prices were worth it for the amount of food and quality that you get. Combo deals come with a very big quantity and you will leave full even if you eat a lot. Total spent $40 for two people with leftovers to take home. Friendly service, delicious food at a reasonable price, would recommend but pass on the egg drop soup if its the soup of the day! Parking - Huge lot so fairly easy.

I ordered the braised chicken set for two and paid for a drink. It was delivered to the office, and the price was reasonable with a generous portion.

I recently came across this restaurant in Arcadia. Came in for lunch on Saturday. Big portion, fair price, and great service. The combo has main dish, rice and sous vide egg. It also comes with a side dish of your choice and a drink of your choice. Everything tasty yummy (Even the leftover)!! Main dish has lots of choices including chicken, beef, pork, lamb, pig trotter, and tofu!! Their drinks are too sweet for my taste though. I asked for low sugar but it tastes same as normal sugar. They also have soup noodles on the menu which I haven't tried.

Comfort food at its finest, Ikka Sizzling Pot is all about that braise. If you've never had Huang Men Ji before aka braised yellow chicken, you need to get on it! The menu here is simple, offering simple braised meats and vegetables with a protein of your choice. Besides chicken, you can also choose between pork trotters, pork ribs, lamb or tofu. You really get your money's worth by making it into a combo. A combo gets you a cold side dish and drink of your choice: mixed seaweed, mixed beancurd and cucumber or mixed shredded potato and carrot. Because this dish comes sizzling with all of its bold flavors and sauce, the cold side dish does a great job of mellowing everything out. I've tried the chicken, ribs and trotters and you can't go wrong with any of them. The passion fruit tea here is also delicious and refreshing! Much needed especially if you opt for the regular spicy level and higher.

The restaurant have limited seatings so order out. The rice "clay pot" is not the authentic Cantonese version. The choice of braised meat are okay and sauces are on the saltier end. The sides are also salty -- -- whereas the seaweed salad have a soy sauce base. Overall, the service was good.

I always love a braised pot and decided to try this place! They are in a plaza so there is a parking lot. The place is small with only 4-5 tables but when my boyfriend and I went for a late lunch there wasn't that much people. We got seated right away and they gave us menus, to my surprised they have Korean fried chicken! I remember when I bookmarked this place a few months ago they only served braised items. Since I wanted to try their Korean fried chicken, my boyfriend and I decided to share one braised boneless chicken pot that comes with rice $10.99. You can have a option for a combo $13.99 comes with a side dish and a drink. We chose the bone in wings for $12.99 8 pieces (which is not bad they were so huge!!!) I wasn't sure if their soy garlic was good so I ask for the sauce on the side The wait wasn't bad, but the food was amazing everything was very flavorful and comforting. The chicken was super moist and soft and the wings were beyond amazing, I was very surprised in how big the wings were (definitely worth the price) super crunchy and not soggy at all. The soy garlic sauce is not bad but I saw a table next to us it was very drenched and I'm not a fan of very drenched wings so having it on the side was perfect. Overall this place was beyond my expectations and I'm definitely coming back to try their other dishes.

So glad we gave this place a shot. The food exceeded my expectation. I had the Yellow Braised Tofu with Assorted Vegetables. If you love vegetables, this is your dish. There's more than one kind of tofu with big chunks of (oyster) mushroom, not to mention good flavor. Hubby tried the Boneless Yellow Braised Chicken, equally delicious. For spice level, I wish you could choose mild. The only options are No Spicy, Regular Spicy or Extra Spicy. We upgraded to a combo, so for an additional $3, you get a drink & a side. The drinks, such as Passionfruit Green Tea & Yogurt Green Tea, are not watered down. As a side, the Seaweed is a bit too kelpy for me. On the other hand, the Beancurd/ Cucumber/ Woodear mix is tasty for an upcharge of $1.50. We ordered online for pickup. The food was not ready as promised even though we were more than 10 minutes "late," thus one star deduction for the delay.

Been meaning to try this place for a while and finally got around to it and I do not regret it! It is very nostalgic of my mom's home cooked meals especially the braised pork. Honestly braised anything is always delicious in my opinion and these are certainly no exception. For four girls we ordered two sizzling pots and a soy garlic fried chicken which was more than enough. The portions are reasonable and very filling. The pot was not sizzling when we got it though but I appreciate the idea. Would come back to satisfy my asian food craving when home cooked meals are not available.

I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors. I've seen sizzling pot restaurants, but never had the urge to try them. We ended up going for family Sunday dinner. They do offer dine in, but the restaurant is quite tiny with only like 4 tables, they do get a bunch of take out orders. I like that their menu has more than clay pots. We did order the Dan Dan mien, It was more on the soupy side. Great flavor and spice, but a tad salty. The sizzling pots were quite tasty and pairs great with rice. We ordered the fried chicken nuggets when they were on promotion and they were not and tender. I also would recommend their yogurt green tea! We got 3 rounds of drinks, so good.

Absolutely loved everything and ate leftovers and still good. I killed the pig feet all in one sitting so no leftovers coz so bloody good!!! Tender, flavorful, delicious!!! Best I've had.

There's such a big advertisement at the entrance, saying we can scan the code to place an order. When we went to pay, the waiter said the promotion was no longer available. The poster is just there to make it easier for people to scan the code. False advertising. H

They have many classic Chinese dishes at a truly affordable price point. The food: We ordered four different dishes: green beans (v), stir fried egg plants (v), mapo tofu (v), and chicken with rice. For the first three dishes, we clarified with the owner to make this vegetarian (also vegan), which she was able to do very easily and without question. We communicated with her in Chinese, but she also spoke English to us, when we discovered that our Chinese was likely not as fluent as native speakers. Everything was flavorful, without relying on just an overwhelming amount of salt, and we really enjoyed the green beans that seemed to be cooked in fermented bean paste. I found the eggplants particularly tasty too! The service: This small store had so much business, so we did spend some time waiting before we could actually order our meal. The restaurant itself was filled with folks dining in, and there were multiple parties waiting for take out. Even so, once we did order our meal, it didn't take too long for all four dishes to come out. The flavors were great, and I'd definitely come back. My biggest concern, though, was that the hot beef noodle soup was served in a plastic bowl, and all of the utensils were plastic as well. Serving very hot soup in plastic makes me wonder about the potential for microplastics or other chemicals leaching into the food. If you're concerned about plastic coming into contact with hot food, this is definitely something to keep in mind. Great food, but I really wish they would use ceramic or another non-plastic bowl for hot soup.

So happy to see more Xi'an food popping up around SGV, especially when it's done this well. As…read moresomeone born and raised in Xi'an, the flavors here felt genuinely authentic, and I already know I'll be back. We ordered the Youpo Noodles with Beef Brisket, Marinated Beef Sandwich, and Cumin Lamb Sandwich. The marinated beef sandwich was the standout. They absolutely nailed the execution, from the tender, flavorful meat to the texture of the bread. I would come back for this alone. It immediately took me back to eating rou jia mo from a street cart while walking around Xi'an, which is about the highest compliment I can give it. The noodles were freshly handmade, wonderfully springy, and completely soaked with flavor. The beef brisket made them even more satisfying. The cumin lamb sandwich was the only item I felt slightly on the fence about. The filling was good, but I personally wanted a little more seasoning and a stronger cumin flavor. The interior is spacious and clean, service was fast and painless, and there is plenty of parking in the lot. Such a great addition to Arcadia and easily one of the better Xi'an spots I've tried in the area.

XiAn Foodie 李老三 serves food that is not only delicious, but authentic and full of soul. The handmade noodles were impressive. perfectly chewy and springy, soaking up the rich sauce. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying! The lamb skewers, beef skewers, beef shank noodles, lamb & carrot dumplings, and oil-splashed noodles are all highly recommended. Everything was tender, aromatic, and clearly prepared with great care and attention to flavor and ingredients. Spice lovers will definitely be happy here, but even if you normally don't eat spicy food, you'll still find yourself going back for bite after bite. The restaurant itself is simple yet elegant, clean, and comfortable, with the warm feeling of a beloved local spot. The service is friendly, and the food comes out quickly, creating a relaxed and welcoming dining experience. Especially after a long day, having a hot bowl of their oil-splashed noodles feels genuinely comforting. If you enjoy unique Xi'an cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You can taste that the flavors have not been overly adjusted just to appeal to the masses. Instead, the restaurant preserves the authentic spirit, warmth, and bold flavors of traditional Xi'an cooking.
