Great Peruvian food! We came here to celebrate a birthday and they did a great job accommodating a large group! We ordered sangrias for the table and they were amazing!! The waiter was very attentive and continued to check in and ensured that everyone in the group was well served! We ordered various dishes including the lomo saltado and genuinely you can't go wrong w any of the plates. They are large portions, I believe you can share one plate between two people. I'd recommend family style ordering for this place. Really pretty place a nice a warm atmosphere perfect for a birthday or a celebration! Would recommend! Rating: 9.5/10

First time customers Family went to have lunch for Mother's Day. Nice decor, friendly service and big servings. We ordered two appetizers to share in addition to the individual orders. Food we ordered were all good. Servings are big so we ended up taking home some leftovers overs. Will come back and bring the rest of the family. It seems the place can accommodate a big group.

First time here and planning on returning. The food is authentic but you have to be patient, it is truly cooked to order. The ambience is casual but a good drink like the pisco sour makes the wait go by easy. Had the lomo saltado, a staple of any Peruvian restaurant- loved the tender beef and veggies were fresh complimenting the dish. The chancho was my favorite, crispy suckling pig with tender , juicy meat- what's not to love. Skin was crunchy, with a hint of sweetness in a good way. This dish is only available Friday through Sunday- this will definitely make me return quicker.

Delicioussss meal and pisco sour for a Friday night dinner date. I've never satinside since you can sit outside but the decor inside seems lovely as well. Server was courteous and friendly.

2/12/26: Lights! Camera! Acción! My gorgeous girlfriend surprised me with tickets to the Jennifer Hudson Show for a pre-Valentine's LA Road Trip! After our continental breakfast at our hotel before the show, plus some pre-show vending machine snacks, and awesome albeit lengthy live tv show experience, we were ready to yell "CUT!" on the day & head to dinner! Vibe check: synchronicity! While perusing Yelp for places in Pasadena, we decided we were in the mood for either ramen or lomo. We instinctually chose the latter & went with Peruvian food. Enter Bodegon No 69! Ready for its close up, it did not disappoint! From our guest starring hostess who offered us the cozy, romantic table in front, to our special guest server who recommended the Pisco Sours as an adlib to our initial martini request. It worked! Leave it in the script! As we spoke about the phenomenal Taraji P Henderson's appearance on the show earlier, we eyed our Hidden Figures...the Starter Menu! Choclo Serrano & Causa Limena to the set! The double C combo satiated our hunger pangs instantly! Bravo to the Best Supporting Cast! A climactic scene was building, as we locked eyes, while planning our future over strong drinks and even stronger chemistry! Still got that spark! Enter our stars: Lomo Saltado and Aji de Gallina! Oscar worthy flavor & plentiful portions of food! Deliciosity (is this even a word?!) thy name is Bodegon No 69! Chill vibe, good service, great food, and a divinely stunning co-star who shines brighter than a champagne supernova in the sky! TL:DR - Find someone you can love like crazy and who will love you the same way back.

The food was so delicious and very flavorful! Portions were large as well and shareable. We went on a Saturday night but it wasn't too busy and we were seated promptly. The lomo was full of flavor and well cooked. The ceviche was bright, fresh, great amount of spice (we ordered medium). The variety of mocktails was nice to see as well. Already thinking of returning!!

The food here was genuinely delicious, bold flavors, well-prepared dishes, and overall a great dining experience from a culinary standpoint. Service was also good. Our server was attentive, kind, and did his best to make sure we were taken care of throughout the night. That said, this isn't the best spot for a larger group or a special occasion. We were celebrating my parents' 47th anniversary, and while we didn't mind being seated about 20 minutes late, the seating itself was disappointing. We were placed in a back room with dim lighting and long, shared tables that made it difficult to get in and out, especially if you were seated in the middle. The space felt cramped, poorly ventilated, and appeared to double as a storage area, which took away from the celebratory feel. They also ran out of Coke before 8pm, which was a bit surprising. Overall, the food and service really carried the experience, which is why I'm still giving 4 stars. I'd absolutely come back for a date or a small group (4 or fewer), but I wouldn't recommend it for a memorable celebration or larger party.

I came back to try other dishes with my my friends. It was pleasant surprise with the ribeye with pesto pasta. The steak was cooked to medium rare, tender, and delicious. The fried rice with shrimp needed a little more flavor, so not too bad. What we all didn't like was the Peruvian corn. It was too chewy and it lacked flavor. If I came back, I would stick to the steak with pesto pasta and lomo saltado.

We happened upon this restaurant walking through Pasadena and I'm so glad we ended up here! I haven't had Peruvian food since a trip to St Maarten and the flavors brought me back! Our server, Omar, offered some recommendations and I'm grateful he did! The restaurant played amazing Latin music that added to the great ambiance. We'll be back next time we're in Pasadena!

We been here a couple of times with my daughter, we can most of the time just walk in.. Very nicely decorated, friendly staff, And the food is amazing !!! We got bathe Lomo Saltado Yumm and a glass of red wine . More than enough for us. Definitely will come back again

I have visited Peru and had amazing authentic cuisine, so my expectations were high for this restaurant. The service was excellent with our server constantly checking on us and refiling water without us needing to ask. We were recommended the Ceviche Especial which brought a mixture of seafood in a citrus broth. It was delicious and by far the best thing I tried that day. The papas a la huacaina was bland and it left me feeling disappointed. The main dish was arroz con pollo and I was not expecting to get chopped up chicken bits with mostly rice. Desert was a delicious chocolate cake with a vanilla ice cream scoop. The esthetics of the place were pleasing, and the service was top notch, but I don't know about the food. I may need to try other things on the menu. Till next time, I suppose.

If you're in Pasadena and craving authentic Peruvian flavors, Bodegón No. 69 is absolutely worth checking out. I ordered the lomo saltado and was genuinely impressed. The beef was tender and flavorful, perfectly sautéed with onions and tomatoes, and served with that classic rice. The seasoning was spot on savory, balanced, and comforting without feeling heavy. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they're putting out. The customer service really elevated the experience. The staff struck that perfect balance: not overly attentive or hovering, but immediately available when I had a question. Friendly, professional, and welcoming, it made the whole meal feel relaxed and enjoyable. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, making it a great spot whether you're grabbing dinner with friends or enjoying a casual night out. Definitely a place to add to your Pasadena list. I'll be back.

I was walking hungry in the city of Pasadena and i found a place that got my attention and i decided to go and try it. I over order like always but food was worth it, I would definitely go back for their limo saltado and their ceviche Bodegon, service it's not the greatest but the food compensates I guess, but hopefully they work on tha because they are rude and careless, ambience it's good for families or just for a solo ride why not

We pointed out some allergies to the staff and he helped us work around it. The orders came out quickly and he checked in on us frequently to see if we were okay. Great service! Bakka Wild Salmon - This salmon had a lot of things going on for it, in a good way! The combination of flavors felt very refreshing, especially on a hot day. The lime and basil was played a big part there. Crispy Short Rib with Lime - Even initially before coming here, this was the dish that caught our attention. I will admit the portion size was a bit smaller than I expected and was even skeptical when it came out. However, without a doubt, this was the highlight of the visit. As someone that loves savory foods, this really hit the spot. The burst of flavors settles in right away. Truffle Wok Seared Noodles - We wanted to pick this noodle dish as a balance to the protein dishes. It did its job but it tasted okay. Not something that stood out. Slow-Drip Vietnam Coffee Flan - I liked the caramel that was layered on the flan, it was crunchy and added a nice texture. It was a nice presentation but tasted okay. Thai Tea - This was my personal drink. It was a standard Thai tea but came with ice cream on top. It was not too sweet but didn't stand out compared to other items. Strawberry Pandan Lemonade - This was my girlfriend's drink. I had a small sip here but found it was refreshing and not too sweet. However, I didn't really get any pandan flavor, mainly strawberry. When it all comes together, it was a good experience. The interior of the story is more dimly lit and felt like a romantic night dinner, despite being the middle of the day. The dishes had a balance of standard and hidden gems. Everything was more than sufficient for two people to share. Service was great and very attentive. Will come back for the Crispy Short Ribs! Standouts for me, worthy tiger, prawn, ceviche, and the crispy Seabass with mangoes, mango sauce, and papaya salad. All the food has a kick, but it is not overly spicy. When I walked into the bar, I saw some house made bitters and fresh ingredients everywhere so I knew the drinks would be awesome. The Peacock margarita has passionfruit and a touch of Mezcal in it. The lychee margarita is not too sweet and so well balanced. Our mixologist, Sebastian was delightful and provided incredible service. I could go back for all these reasons and definitely will do so

Come early and get seated right away and there's still ample parking in their parking lot. By the time we left at 7:30p, the lot was packed and people circling around hoping to snag a spot from folks leaving. The restaurant is pretty large and has about 3 rooms with different size tables and booths. No matter the size of your party, there's a table that will accommodate. The staff were very nice and attentive and FAST! We had our food out probably 15 min after we put in our order! Now...on to the food. Came at 530 pm on a tuesday, and there wasen't anyone here yet. Afterwards it filled up quickly!! The main thing I dont like about this place is they dont have the prices on what your ordering. Which I'll get too at the end. Like any other Chinese restaurant, their menu is super extensive. I love how they have a little bit of everything. And its very well organized too. We ordered the following: 1. Crab and fish maw soup- this soup was amazing. It was just the right temp. Got me sweating. Can easily feed 12 people. Great amount of maw. The consistency is just right. Tasted so good!! 2. Small lobster special- on a bed of noodles. It was about 5 lbs. Cooked well. Could do without. Basically flavors. And it was expensive!! About $30 a lb. So this one dish cost basically the same amount as all the other dishes. Which was just too much. If I knew it was that much I would definitely not have ordered it. 3. Walnut shrimp- not the best walnut shrimp I've had. But it was ok. 4. Garlic shrimp- this shrimp dish was ok. Too many bell peppers and onions. It was just ok. 5. Mongolian beef- flavors were not that great. Very tender though. Could've been better. 6. Sea trout- this was amazing!! I love the sauce. Fish was so soft and tender. The heat, the spice, the sweetness. Some of that sauce in white rice was just perfection. It was really really good. Best dish of what we ordered. 7. Kung pao chicken- this was a really good dish. Crispy bits of chicken. But so soft and tender inside. I love the sauce that it was in. It was by far one of the highlights of the meal. It was good food. Price for everything (except the lobster) was pretty good. Food tasted amazing for the most part. Typical Chinese customer service. Pay at the front. Massively large portions. Solid authentic Chinese food.

The special fried rice was so full of all different kinds of meat that it was like a meal in itself. With 10 different dishes it would have been better to serve plain white rice. Felt service could been better for 18% service already added on bill. Tea was even charged. Had to ask for menu at cashier & was told already at table, asked for waiter so we can order, had to ask for water, spoons & forks or to have some serving plates taken away to have more space at table. There were few waiters & feel that they were not attentive and restaurant was not even busy. Even parking lot was not full but there was courtesy valet parking & girl was insisting on parking the cars even though several cars was starting to line up. I would never recommend or return to this place again. Just disappointed that my guests did not enjoy the food as well.

I only ever had their takeout during Covid but I was sooo excited to finally dine-in here. I took…read moreadvantage of the reservation system and did not have to wait on a Saturday evening. The place was bustling for a good reason. You must try their seafood of course, its in the name. But especially the house special lobster noodles. The plate was ginormous and could feed up to 10+ people. Flavors were all there too. I also had the red cod for $50/pound. While it was good, the cod costed $150 and didn't have much meat. Top notch service.
