Fabulous dinner at Bocado tonight. We did the Bocado experience for two and there was just way too much amazing food! 2 cheese board items and 6 tapas plus dessert! Oh my. Thank goodness for takeout boxes. My favorite plate was the QUESO DE CABRA CON MIEL (goat cheese with honey) served with crusty bread. We paired it with the CHORIZO LEÓN HERRADURA. It was just perfect together. Dessert was worth mentioning. The warm double chocolate brownie with ice cream is a definite yes please. So rich, so gooey, so worth the calories. Bocado is a tapas restaurant, but I found these small plates quite generous. Roll me home I'm done!

We came on a Friday during Restaurant Week as a party of four, three adults and one toddler. The food was delicious and our server was friendly. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, though our table was in the middle of the aisle which felt a bit cramped. Unfortunately, the service itself was inconsistent. We had to ask for bread three times. When we ordered two brownies and one coffee, we were brought one brownie and two coffees. At the end of the meal, we asked for both my meal and my son's meal to be wrapped to go. My son's plate was accidentally thrown away because other plates were stacked on top of it. When I asked about it, the server explained what happened but did not offer to remake it, remove it from the bill, or apologize, which was disappointing. That said, it was a busy Friday during Restaurant Week, so I would consider coming back and hope the service is smoother next time. While writing this review, I actually received a text from the restaurant letting me know we left our son's plate behind, which was thoughtful and appreciated. If Yelp allowed half stars, I would give 3.5.

When dining out, I am often eager to try restaurants I haven't been to before, but Bocado is one place I consistently come back to as every experience here has been positive. I love the wide variety of their tapas, and enjoy sharing foods with friends and family and tasting so many flavor combinations. This week, three of us shared the Bocado Experience for 2, and it was plenty of food. I can't not order the fried goat cheese w/ honey. It's such a perfect starter dish! The Atun de Bocado was another highlight...simply seared yellowfin presented beautifully with delicious accompanying sauces, including a lemon basil crema and chili avocado puree. It was definitely a dish that left me wanting more! While the fish was a lovely light starter, by contrast, another successful appetizer was the fried mozzarella rice balls. Similar to arancini, these were fried to crispy perfection with a creamy interior and a bright basil aioli. Another highlight, surprisingly, was the Pollo Asado Lento. The humble chicken thigh was slow roasted to tender perfection, served over creamy cheddar polenta with herbaceous oil and a hint of heat from Calabrian salsa. This was a hearty tapas dish and could have been a great mini-entree on its own. Bocado has expanded their footprint, and each room seems to have its own vibe. We enjoyed our bright window side table in one of the bar/dining spaces, which feels casual and modern. Our server, Angel M.,was terrific all evening, and was happy to match our desired pace.

Delicious food and drinks. Services was great and the atmosphere was welcoming. Plenty of food for your money. We spent $160 for the set menu for 2, 2 cocktails, and tip. Got charcuterie(duck pastrami and fried goat cheese), 6 tapas, churros. We were so full, brought home leftovers which reheated well! This was our second time there and will be back!

Food was good, not amazing. Service was great, but the kitchen was very slow. It must have been a busy night. Would definitely be willing to give it another try!

Have heard this is a place to try. Tapas place in a sketchy area. As they say the area is it's up and coming. They offer free valet, you can also park yourself at nearby lot. The place has a romantic adult feeling. This is the type of place to relax and enjoy your meal. If your child doesn't behave, don't take them. Sat at the bar area, since it was busy. Figured it would be the fastest service. Our sever was attentive and friendly, as the rest of the staff. Loved the team environment. Tired a few tapas. The warm potato salad was amazing. A must try, not over saucy and crowded. Second the rice balls with mozzarella (Arancini) Wagyu Hamburgers were delicious and flavorful for the size. Last tried the pollo a la plancha with a feta salad. Not a fan of cucumbers. This was flavorful, the chicken was moist and the items meshed well together. I can't remember the last plate, it was a marinated beef with Yukon potatoes. Melts on your mouth. This is a must try on a date night.

This place is a gem. Decor is great and there's several different rooms - each with a different vibe. We order the party of two - 6 tapas. We had reservations (highly recommend) and it was very busy..and likely the reason our dishes were staggered so much. (Up to 15 mins after getting first one and never received more than two at a time.) Food was great though. Loved everything except the cauliflower steak - this was a bit dry and needed some accompanying sauce.

? slow roasted rabbit, shrms, diced tom, pimenton shrm broth?

A lovely restaurant, classy & approachable with a lively atmosphere & fun vibe. Great, tasty Spanish tapas, we usually go during a birthday or celebration. Food is adventurous & bold; memorable meals over the years: Fried Goat cheese with charcuterie meats, manchego cheese & french bread, have to do The Bocado Experience for 2 or 4, Jamon Iberico, Pato (duck pastrami w sherry glaze), tuna poke, atun de bocado (seared yellowfin saku tuna), braised pork belly, Spanish octopus, mussels in cream sc, twin mini Kobe style beef burgers, venison, fried calamari, lollipop lamb chops, seared beef tenderloin, classic paella & Paella de Mariscos, & baked flan for dessert. Just so fascinating - their chefs can put out such tasty small plates so quickly, each packed with such fresh & exciting flavors, always cooked to perfection (never over or under cooked). Get the sangria pitchers, bar is always packed & hopping. Dining room just got a refresh, but was beautiful even before with a great atmosphere also. Our least favorite was the rabbit (way too many small bones to pick out).

Cool mural in the new dining space sets the mood.

We always love Bocado and went back to celebrate my birthday last week. What a nice surprise to see how they have expanded the original location and added a lovely outdoor patio! The bold new mural is a great accent to the elegantly understated decor. I want these dining chairs! We shared the house sangria, which was delicious and opted for the Bocado Experience, which I recommend highly! You get to share six tapas of your choice plus dessert. Even tho they are small plates it's a lot of food. We especially enjoyed the smoked haddock dip, the albondigas (meatballs) and the mozzarella balls, so yum! Next time I want to try one of their amazing cocktails. Thank you, Bocado, for a lovely evening!

It's been a while since we popped into Bocados. Suffice to say blown away by the build out!! Stunning!!! Food and cocktails as always perfect! I can see this new space being booked for many an event!!

Kids menu? Kid friendly?

They dont have kids menu.

They have outdoor seating?

idt so

Do they have a gluten free menu or enough gluten free selections for a holiday party to not leave folks feeling left out? Their website doesn't show any info in this area. Thanks!

Sorry. I am not sure. I can bet they do as most of their tapas have no bread. Like the shrimp, rabbit, lamb, patata, rice balls, salads, paella's.

The noise level was comfortable, making it easy to have a conversation. The restaurant has a classic, upscale feel, with dark wood and dark floors throughout. Our server came right over, and we started with three orders of bacon-wrapped scallops ($16.99 for four) to share. They were cooked perfectly and served with a delicious pineapple salsa, which was a unique addition that I had never had with scallops before and really enjoyed. We also ordered a bottle of Belle Glos Pinot Noir from Sonoma ($60) for the table. Our server recommended it as a well-priced, tasty option. I had tried this wine before, so I appreciated the suggestion and was happy with the choice. Most of the table also ordered a cup of clam chowder, which was thick, hearty, and very enjoyable. It tasted like it had bacon bits in it, which added to the flavor. For my main course, I ordered the Crab Stuffed Sole ($42.99), served over rice, with a cup of clam chowder for an additional $3. The fish was cooked well and the portion was generous. The flavor was a little mild, and I would have liked a bit more sauce, but overall, it was a very enjoyable dish that left me feeling full and satisfied. For dessert, I split the tiramisu (approximately $11) with another person at the table. The portion was huge, and even split in half it was a lot. While it was good, it had a little more cream than flavor, but I still enjoyed it. I also ordered a decaf espresso, which I appreciated they had available, although it was not really hot. Our server was excellent: attentive, knowledgeable, and full of energy. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the food came out at a good pace, and we never had to wait long for anything we needed. Overall, this was a great place for a group dinner. The portions were generous, the service was excellent, and the food was enjoyable. The prices are on the higher side, so this is more of a place for a special occasion or an upscale dinner. However, I very much enjoyed my experience and would recommend it.

Once they announce it, you need to call immediately or get shut out. My observation about the place itself. The U shaped bar is gigantic for the space. It's a bar-bar too not like a sushi counter. This seems to draw a crowd of local drinkers rather than the normal sushi crowd. You feel like you walked into a sports bar. The place was really loud and it was hard to hear the chef explaining everything. Once seated... it's the chefs carving the tuna off to the side. There were 2 bar tenders making drinks and like 3 chefs cutting tuna.... other than that, no waitstaff. Which is really odd. You have to grab the manager who was running around helping to get your Wasabi refilled. Not to mention they gave zero place settings for about 8 of us, until we asked. The bar tenders seemed to pass over my empty drink until I asked for a refill too. It's a more chaotic event than I would have liked for $120 per person. It also takes time to carve the tuna so if you arrive hungry be prepared to not get your first tiny bite until 45 minutes after the start. The star was Chef Timmy. Honestly he was awesome. The tuna.... so good. You end to with only 3 pieces of Nigiri which was a little disappointing but the sashimi part was unlimited. Of course you have to take your plate up and ask for some. They only put about 6 small pieces of the various cuts per trip. I think I went up 5 times for sashimi alone. The tuna handrolls you can make yourself or ask the chef nicely. Those were really good. Probably best I ever had because it's so fresh. There is a limited amount of the highly prized (and highly priced) Kamatoro, but you can experience it here as it's included in the experience. That's a hard cut to find. The finale was a shot of tuna spinal fluid. My first time with that but it's not bad. You're probably looking at $150 per person unless you order alcohol than it's alot more. The fresh cut tuna is amazing. I'm glad I did it. The chaos and the setting made it less than ideal. I don't think I would go again to this location for it. One and done. It's a bit weird that you're paying $120 for this and you're still intermingled with local patrons just there to grab some beers after work and watch the game. Because of the massive bar it is impossible to create a space secluded to do it. They also should have a roaming waiter at least taking care of the 30 people who came for this experience.
